Awesome vid Mike. I think it would be great if you can teach us how to do copywork and what to look for in detail in a video example. Looking forward to your next video.

Mike I love it! I really appreciate how you go into detail. You make these videos because you are truly passionate not only about UI/UX design but also about helping others excel in this field. Thanks a lot brother! - Chino Hills

I don’t really know what tools to use. The only tool I use is Sketch. For Ui, wire-framing, and prototyping. Is that good?
Nochallengetho (11 months ago)
Mike Locke okay! Thank You so much! I was worried because I am also trying to get better at illustration and thought I needed photoshop or illustrator to integrate photos that I have manipulated to improve the ui aspect of my designs and to make logos. The UX part of product design doesn’t scare me as much as the tools do. But Thank You!

Nochallengetho - yes, all you need is Sketch. Design your pages (projects in Sketch), build a portfolio site using a template from a hosted service like Wix.com or Webflow.com...you literally only need one design tool.

Mike Locke but will that be enough for me to build my portfolio and acquire a job?
Mike Locke (11 months ago)
Sketch is the only tool you need.

Mike, awesome insights. I'm a developer and I create a tool to help designers be more productive when working with fonts, icons and patterns: http://designarsenal.co/

Love the stuff Mike. Do you have recommendations for pro dibbble UI designers to mimic?
Mike Locke (11 months ago)
I always go with the top 20 designers. If you look under their designers list, the top 20 designers or companies are always the best to follow.

Loving the long form content. As a growing Web Developer I have a deep appreciation for UI/UX Design from your videos. The practice of copying great work is practiced as a supreme discipline in The Orient. Great Video!
