This is so different from my generation (mid 20's now) vs. seniors today. Old stigmatism about sex and marriage are definitely on the decline, thank God👍💗

This wasn't as eventful as I hoped it would be. Why would they remember their first time all the way in there 60s, 70s, and 80s? Even worse than growing up in a time where women were still very heavily shamed. Not that we still don't have that problem, but it was worse back then.

Who else feels that anyone you come across in real life is going to be as cool and open as the speakers in these videos until you get slapped with something totally different? Do I make sense up there?

I wonder what this would be like with all grandads? I'm guessing they weren't taught a whole lot either
SARAH CHAMP (3 months ago)
Ok I love this, I wanna see one next time with all grandpas and some diversity would be great as well.

I was taught NOTHING from my parents. All came from school, girlfriends, & thank God for my 1st husband. Always had me in mind, asking what I want , what we could do better, just talking, no shame involved.

Is it weird that I knew everything I know now about sex when I was 8, and the basics when I was 6?

I learned about sex in third grade with my best friend at the time because we were curious so we looked it up.

When women had dignity..and they were actually happy. Now it's the wh0re & feminism culture. And women are getting more unhappy.. Because they are getting more & more ungrateful.

Like so Many other children - I learned about it at age 4, being molested by an older child - of course, I didn't know what it was called. I didn't learn the true name for it until I was in junior high, from a biology book.

This series make me not hate Mondays. I think it's a brilliant concept for a video. Personally, my grandma is very shy. She doesn't even like to read for a small group of people, and I know she wouldn't answer me if I asked her these questions. This video makes me reflect a lot, and understand a lot of things from her generation and mine.
SoulPancake (3 months ago)
We're more than happy to make your Mondays a little better ;) Glad you enjoy the series!

Eye opening how the conversation on this subject changes from generation to generation.

I like the lady who said 'you'd have to ask them'
Sandra (2 months ago)
Me too. Lola is crazy smart. You can tell by her lack of judgement of others and welcoming consideration of all perspectives. I really like her.

I've come to realize that SOMETIMES people on the internet who claim to be in an open relationship it's not true. They just want to get away with cheating on their partner.
Crystal Thompson (3 months ago)
Yep, definitely met those people lmao

My grandmother told me her mother told her if a man touches the end of her bed she'll get pregnant.
debbieomi (3 months ago)
My grandma told my mom and her twin sister that sleeping with a boy would make them pregnant. My aunt went to a movie with her boyfriend and fell asleep on his shoulder. She was scared to death she was pregnant and it took her a few weeks before she tearfully told her mom that she was pregnant. This was when she was 15. Unfortunately, she really was pregnant a year later and still wasn't 100% sure exactly how it happened!
Tranquil Lee (3 months ago)
@cindyasters Ah, my family is Muslim. It's interesting how similar different Abrahamic religions and sects can be.
cindyasters (3 months ago)
@Tranquil Lee No, my grandmother grew up a Mormon.
Tranquil Lee (3 months ago)
Omg, are you Middle Eastern or African by any chance? Because that's something girls in my culture were taught for generations.

They are all just fucking beautiful wow💕💕💕💕
The Internet teaches most people about sex. 🔥🔥🔥🔥
debbieomi (3 months ago)
I found the two most important books I ever owned at a yard sale at age 10; Everything You Ever Wanted To Know About Sex ( but as afraid to ask) and The Happy Hooker. What an eye opening experience and one I am thankful for. No judgement, no bias, just here it is and I was educated.
Alexandra S (3 months ago)
Shirley's comment really made me think. She said at one point she was scared to have sex because she didn't want to get pregnant again. That to me is so heart breaking. Because sex should be something that women enjoy and it seems for a long time it scared her. Also I never thought about if women who have lots of children, really wanted to have that many. Now i wish my grandma was alive so I could ask her. She had 8. Great video!
Alexandra S (3 months ago)
@debbieomi awwww that's sad, that she rarely smiled.
debbieomi (3 months ago)
My great aunt had 23, all single births. Her husband worked on the railroads and was only home for a few days every 3-4 weeks. The family joke was that if Gert wasn't already pregnant when Percy got home, she would be by the time he left. She basically was a single mother, running their farm. I only knew her as a young child but my mother has often said that she always looked tired and you very rarely saw her smile. She took care of what and who needed taking care of but didn't allow herself to be included.

@eveningbreeze Having a child in your forties is hard. My mom had me when she was 45. But wow, 17! That's incredible :)
Alexandra S (3 months ago)
@IncrediBelleJessi I want four kids because Im an only child and I always wanted siblings. But I understand what you mean, when I tell my friends I want four, they all look at me like I'm crazy!
eveningbreeze (3 months ago)
My grandmother had 17. She said the same to us, that she was always pregnant. She had 3 in her 40's. I can't imagine. All of hers were born before the pill.

@SoulPancake I totally understand the point of the video. We all should try to adapt the changes instead of brushing them off. 😄
SoulPancake (3 months ago)
Sex is still considered a taboo topic. We're taught to be embarrassed by it, but the only way to have healthy sex is to talk about it and learn about it!
