Hello. Your knowledge and ability to explain how you do it, is amazing. I have an issue and hope you can help me solve it. Whenever I try to apply a "Canvas or "Sandstone" effect, it always ends-up looking terrible, even though it looks fine prior to clicking OK. I'm using PSE 14, but had the same problem with V11 and I can't find a solution for this issue. Can you help me? Thank you. Tony

Hello. Thanks for your response and followed your suggestion, unfortunately, it did not work, perhaps, if at all possible, it would be much easier for me to follow, if you can do a video on this topic. Also, like to mention that if this issue is a common one for other users, could it be a defective software problem? Just wondering! Thanks again and keep those great videos coming. Tony.

Hi Tony Barone, texture can look strange if you over do it. It's a good idea to apply texture to a new layer, here's a quick tip. Add a new Empty layer, go to Edit > Fill and fill the empty layer with 50% grey. Add the texture to that layer and change the blend Mode to sot Lights. Next zoom in to 100% and reduce the opacity to taste.... Job done! :) Hope this helps and thanks for the kind comment!

Thank you! That off-white border around the inside of the photo really looks great. I would not have thought to add it. I appreciate how you repeat each instruction.

Thanks, brilliant white can easily draw your eye from the image so it's always a good idea to tone it down a notch or two :)

Great video as usual. I keep learning something new with each tutorial you do. I did not know you could use the crop tool as you demonstrated. Thanks

Thanks, I find it easier using the crop tool when you can see what you're adding rather than guessing with Canvas Size :)
