Christopher - thanks as always. There’s something very relaxing about watching you sketch. I have a silly question. I don’t think I have a lick of talent - none. Drawing just doesn’t come intuitively to me AT ALL. I have no sense as to where to place lines on the paper. If I follow along with your examples enough, will I eventually get better? In other words, is drawing something one can learn, or do you have to have some innate talent to begin with?

yours is a common misconception. You can learn to draw and you don't need innate talent. what you need is curiosity. Instead of using a book or video instruction to learn to draw this or that character, try to understand the principles and techniques behind each drawing. in other words, look at each drawing as building blocks. Soon, it will begin to make sense at a gut level. Once you begin to have a feel for the basics, you'll start to improve more rapidly, in my opinion.
