20 BEAUTIFUL Places To See In Europe

12:39
The great thing about this continent is that you can travel to a completely different world by train and experience a whole new culture and language. Let’s touch upon some of the most beautiful things to see in the continent that was once considered the center of the world. Subscribe to Talltanic http://goo.gl/wgfvrr 7. Lapland, FInland Okay, for those of you not sold on exploring the outdoors--think about how rare it is to experience the northern lights. There’s only a few places in the world that you can see those colorful, all natural lights in the sky. And one of them includes Lapland, Finland. The Lapland region measures to 100,367 kilometers square. When covered in snow and the moon’s our and the lights make themselves visible in the sky, a trip to Lapland looks like a scene from a Christmas movie. Would you traverse the cold for a chance to experience those lights? 6. Neuschwanstein Castle, Germany On a forested hill in the region of southwest Bavaria sits Neuschwanstein Castle, up at an elevation of 2,260 feet or 800 meters high. Ludwig II of Bavaria commissioned the construction of the castle in 1832 to be a retreat as well as be dedicated to Richard Wagner--the famed German composer. Every year, 1.3 million people tour the castle, with a traffic of 6,000 individuals per day. Many get drawn to the architectural design of the castle, a mix of castle romanticism called “burgenromantik” and other styles. 5. Tunnel Of Love, Ukraine Nope, that’s not from some children’s fantasy movie. That’s a real industrial railway that exists in the Ukraine. Located near the territory of Klevan, this section of railway got famous for the green leaved arches that surround the entire path--which extends to about 3 to 5 kilometers long. Called “the Tunnel of Love” for the many couples that frequent the path together, which does make it really difficult for train operators to watch out for. 4. Quinta da Regaleira Initiation Well, Portugal Travelling to Sintra, Portugal means you’re going to see lots of 19th century architecture constructed in the Romantic style. As a result, the entire municipality had been made a UNESCO World Heritage Site. But perhaps one of the most beautiful and mysterious places in Sintra includes the Initiation Well of Quinta da Regaleira. Through a series of tunnels and caves, you can reach the well, which has a spiral formation to get to the bottom. People did not use the well for water. Rather, it served as a location for ceremonial Tarot Initiation rites. 3. Bavarian Alps, Let’s be real. The Alps in any country would be awesome to visit anyway. We picked the Bavarian Alps just because it looks a little more green. This region of the Northern Limestone Alps ranges from between the Saalach and Lech rivers. Not to fret--just because it looks green in these pictures doesn’t mean snow doesn’t still cover other parts of the Bavarian Alps. People love to ski here, as well as take in the health retreats, visit the villages, and relax at the spas during the non-ski season, too. 2. Oxford University, England Located in the south east English city of Oxford, you’ll find one of the most well-known universities not only in the world but in history. Oxford University not only provides quality and expensive education, but it also has a lot of really neat architectural structures. From St. Mary’s church to the Radcliffe Camera to the All Souls college, there’s not shortage of pictures to take on an afternoon walk through campus. Alright, alright. If you prefer Cambridge, we can’t blame you. But for simplicity’s sake, we had to pick one. And we picked Oxford. If you want to argue Cambridge’s case, you’re more than welcome to in the comments! 1...

This island off the coast of India has long been on my bucket-list for loads of reasons, like having the best safari outside of Africa, boasting eight UNESCO World Heritage sites to explore, and lots of lovely, gorgeous beaches complete with idyllic white sand and crystal clear water that's perfect for surfing. In fact, for an island about a ¼ of the size of the UK, there's loads to see and do, depending,  of course, on what you want out of your trip. Coming up, I'm going to tell you about getting here, some tips on transport, then some stuff on food, money and language and some awesome places to visit. So, let's get on with it… We flew 10 hours direct from Heathrow to Colombo, which is Sri Lanka’s capital city. Flights arrive at Bandaranaike International airport, which is 30km north of the city. Taxis are very cheap in Sri Lanka, and this can be the easiest, and certainly quickest way to reach your destination from the airport. If you’re heading straight into Colombo you can catch the express bus which takes about 25 minutes, but to be honest the taxis are so cheap it’s a no-brainer. To enter the country, you’re gonna need a visa. Now this can be done when you get here, but, after ten hours in the air ..why bother with the extra admin!? Get it done before you leave. Applications cost $35 and take around 24 hours to process. Also, you’re gonna need to make sure that your vaccinations are up to date, like your tetanus and typhoid. Check with your GP beforehand. What do you need to know about public transport in Sri Lanka? Well, in all honesty, quite a bit… Public transport conditions aren't great, but are popular with locals as it's very cheap. Buses tend to leave when they’re full, so for anyone on a schedule we’d give them a miss. Also, trains are often slower and less efficient than simply getting a taxi. My advice: take anything described as luxury or express with a generous pinch of salt. The key thing in Sri Lanka is that your money goes a long way, for example our two-hour taxi  from Colombo to Unawatuna cost 9000 rupees, which is about 40 quid, so for this reason we made the most of getting around with private car hire and tuk-tuks. Hiring a driver to chauffeur you around is surprisingly affordable and, let's face it, way more luxurious! It's also a big timesaver which is a massive a bonus. The roads are in surprisingly good condition... ...just watch out for the tourists, the cyclists, the buffalo, stray dogs, and massive lizards they all make it a little hair-raising at times. We used Uber to navigate Colombo and Red Cabs for everywhere else. Failing that you could always haggle for a tuk tuk, which are ideal for quick journeys. There are a couple of things you need to know before you start off. Number 1 always agree the price before settings off and number 2 be direct about where you want to go, don’t settle for any detours or any other places they might want to take you. Anyway, up next, here are some of my favourite things to do in Sri Lanka. Unawatuna is loved by locals and tourists alike, and with palm trees, white sands and blue waters, it's easy to see why it’s one of Sri Lanka’s most popular beaches. Right behind the beach is a small shopping strip for souvenirs and restaurants... … And Ladies, going topless on the beach is a definite no-no, and if you're a couple, make the P in PDA stand for PRIVATE, not PUBLIC. OK, Newsflash!!! Sri Lanka has the best safari outside of Africa since the country has one of the highest rates of indigenous plants and animals in the world. Udawalawe National Park is a personal highlight of mine and home to some 200 different species.

http://www.expedia.com/London.d178279.Destination-Travel-Guides A trip to London might as well be a trip through history. This city has long been a hub for finance, education, and culture, and is full of modern construction mixed with ancient buildings. Your London tour must include St. Paul’s Cathedral, one of its most well-known churches. You’ll also want to see the Tower of London, the Palace of Westminster, and Westminster Abbey for exquisite examples of the city’s famous architectural landmarks. Walk or jog through numerous green spaces, among them Hyde Park and Green Park, in the center of London. Continue your London sightseeing in the West End, where you’ll find ancient buildings converted into modern shops, restaurants, bars, and shows. You’ll find one of the largest theatre districts in the world here, and can take in a different play almost every night of the week. For a real treat, climb aboard the London Eye, a giant, rotating Ferris wheel, and see the old and new parts of the city all at once. New Zealand Tourism, New Zealand Travel Guide, NZ Vacation New Zealand Tourist Attractions, New Zealand Nature, NZ cities Travel Videos HD, World Travel Guide http://www.youtube.com/subscription_center?add_user=World1Tube Top Tourist Attractions in New Zealand Milford Sound ======== Milford Sound is among the most famous tourist attractions in New Zealand. Lying at the most northern and accessible end of Fiordland National Park, Milford sound offers some of the world's most staggering coastal scenery with its dramatic peaks and dark blue waters. The area's frequent downpours only enhance this South Island beauty, sending numerous waterfalls cascading down the cliffs. Bay of Islands ========== The Bay of Islands is one of the most popular holiday destinations in New Zealand. The picturesque area contains 144 islands, many secluded bays and some great sandy beaches. This beautiful bay has an abundance of marine life including whales, penguins, dolphins and the big marlin. Not surprisingly, it is a popular tourist spot for sailing yachts on world cruises and international sport fishermen. Tongariro National Park =================== The first national park of New Zealand, Tongariro is known for its surprises and extremes. The park's diverse range of ecosystems includes tranquil lakes, active volcanoes, herb fields, untamed forests and desert-like plateaus. Start your trek at the Whakapapa Visitor Center, just a three hour hike from the stunning Taranaki Falls. The short hike will take you through scrubland and forest and across the lava line of volcanic eruptions from hundreds of years ago. Rotorua ======== Rotorua is known as the thermal wonderland of New Zealand. There are numerous geysers and hot springs in and around the city. Many of these are in parks and reserves. Natural eruptions of steam, hot water and mud occasionally occur in new locations. Nearby Wai-O-Tapu is also a popular tourist attraction with many hot springs noted for their colorful appearance, in addition to the Lady Knox Geyser. Franz Josef Glacier ============= This glacier, located within Westland National Park in the southwest, is one of the world's most accessible. Visitors can walk right up to the foot of the massive glacier or take a helicopter ride over the dazzling Ice Age remnant. Together with Fox Glacier it is one of South Westland's major drawcards for tourists. Kaikoura ======== This small coastal town on the South Island is a haven for seafood lovers. You can spot fur seals, dolphins, sperm whales and albatrosses off the shore, then indulge in a feast of fresh crayfish, mussels, blue cod and more. Land lovers can take a wilderness walk through the untamed and dramatic Kaikoura forest. Napier Art Deco ======== Napier, a small city in Hawke's Bay on the North Island's east coast, is famous for its eye-catching art deco architecture. Most of Napier was leveled by an earthquake in 1931. The rebuilding period coincided with the short-lived Art Deco era and as a result Napier's architecture is strikingly different from any other city in the world. Thousands of tourist visit Napier every February for the Art Deco Weekend, an event dedicated to the style, vintage cars, picnics and the soapbox derby. Sky Tower =============== The Sky Tower is an observation and telecommunications tower located in New Zealand's largest city. At a height of 328 meters (1,076 ft) it is the tallest free-standing structure in the Southern Hemisphere and the Sky Tower has become an iconic structure in Auckland's skyline. The tower offers views of up to 80 km away and fine dining in the Orbit revolving restaurant. Abel Tasman National Park =============== Located on the northern tip of the country's South Island, this vast national park is a hiker's dream. Closed to vehicles, one must enter by boat, foot or small plane, but the trip is well worth it. While traversing the mountainous terrain, blue penguins, wekas, oyster catchers, wood pigeons and other rare birds can all be seen. Coromandel Peninsula ============== This north-eastern peninsula is famous for its white and golden sand beaches that frame magnificent coastal scenery, forests perfect for days of exploration and other natural wonders. Start your visit in Thames, a small but picturesque city with a rich history of gold mining. Don't miss a stop at Hot Water Beach, where visitors can dig their own hot pool from the springs under the sands. ====================== New Zealand tourist attractions, New Zealand Tourism, New Zealand Nature, NZ cities, NZ full video HD, New Zealand HD, New Zealand Travel, New Zealand Travel Guide, New Zealand Vacations, New Zealand Landscape, New Zealand Tours, Top Tourist Attractions in New Zealand, Milford Sound, Bay of Islands Tongariro, National Park, Rotorua, Franz Josef Glacier, Kaikoura, Napier Art Deco, Sky Tower Abel Tasman National Park, Coromandel Peninsula

https://www.expedia.com/Fiji.d6023598.Destination-Travel-Guides The locals in Fiji have a saying, “Bulla,” which means “life” and “good health.” You’ll hear it used frequently as a greeting when you arrive at the 330-strong islands that comprise this archipelago. You may even find yourself saying it before long! Any Fiji tour will highlight its magnificent, unspoiled waters and lush landscapes. Go snorkeling, swimming, diving, and sailing on turquoise waters. If you’d rather stay on dry land, you can zipline through rainforests or explore the windy plains of the highland area. Travel to the interior and learn about traditional Fijian culture, or visit the capital city of Suva and wander through its colonial buildings, bazaars, and the quiet harbor. Two-thirds of the Fijian archipelago are uninhabited, and your Fiji sightseeing should include a stop at Denarau’s marina, where you can book a boat to take you to some of these pristine locations. From family-friendly islands to romantic getaways, you’ll find something to your taste amongst these scattered isles. Do you have a favorite memory of Fiji? Share it below! Why? Quite literally, the atmosphere. Vancouver’s clean air is thanks to it’s really close connection to nature. There are mountains and forests surrounding the City, and the Pacific ocean is right on the cities doorstep. Here the great outdoors isn’t just a place, it’s a way of life. But it’s a modern City waiting to be discovered as well. So in this guide, we’re going to help you make the most of it! We’re going to look at food, money, transport, and a whole lot more, but first let’s get from the airport. Vancouver International airport is less than 10 miles from Downtown area, and is Canada's second busiest airport, after Toronto Pearson International. Getting between the airport and the City Centre is relatively straightforward – a 20-minute taxi ride will cost around $45. Another way into the City is the SkyTrain – it's a bit like London's DLR with driverless carriages, you take the Canada line for half an hour or so, and it costs around $7. Vancouver has an extensive public transport network, as well as being a really easy place to dive. Here’s what you need to know: Now it’s not often that we can tell someone to drive a car through a major City, but in Vancouver drive away until your heart's content! We hired a car and cannot recommend it enough. Thanks to the Cities grid system, wide roads with plenty of easy understood signs and generally well-tempered drivers - driving was an absolute doddle! There’s ample parking wherever you go, even at the busy tourist hotspots, not to mention fuel is cheap, and traffic generally wasn’t too bad in our experience.

Space tourism will lift-off in 2018 | The Economist

05:45
Space tourism will take-off in 2018. As the race between spaceflight companies Virgin Galactic and SpaceX heats up, those who can afford it will be able to travel to low Earth orbit and possibly even around the moon. Click here to subscribe to The Economist on YouTube: http://econ.st/2he5ZAb In late 2018, tourists will be heading into space and there is a race on to get them there. Virgin Galactic will at last take paying customers beyond the stratosphere. But their efforts might be eclipsed by SpaceX, a company planning to send two tourists around the Moon. Taking them farther into space than any human since 1972. There is a new breed of would-be astronauts for whom the sky is no limit. But it is not in everyone's reach. Multi-millionaire entrepreneur, Per Wimmer will be one of the first tourists to go into space with private company, Virgin Galactic. If it all goes to plan, in 2018, Virgin Galactic will launch Mr Wimmer to the edge of the atmosphere where he'll be able to look back down on Earth. But Elon Musk's aerospace company, SpaceX, plans to go one step further on a flyby loop around the Moon. Only 24 astronauts have ever made the almost 240,000-mile voyage to Earth's nearest neighbour. In 2018, two paying customers could be the first humans to venture that far into space for over 40 years. But this mission is shrouded in mystery. There are serious doubts whether these ambitious targets can be reached in 2018. SpaceX has yet to carry out fundamental tests on the launcher. But if these missions do go ahead, they'll be dangerous ventures. 18 people have died in spaceflight. One of Virgin Galactic's own test pilots lost his life in training in 2014. This boom in the commercial space industry marks a new era in space travel. Opening space up to the masses may have an impact on the way humans see the Earth itself. Singapore Vacation Travel Guide | Expedia

05:27
https://www.expedia.com/Singapore.d180027.Destination-Travel-Guides Small and heavily populated, Singapore is an easy place to explore; nothing in the city is more than an hour from the business district. Thanks to modern construction and outstanding architecture, Singapore is rapidly becoming a powerhouse trade city, but it maintains ties to its Asian roots through traditional temples and many cultural hotspots, like Little India and Kampong Glam. Your Singapore tour must include the Botanical Gardens and Orchid Gardens, both beautiful and notable places to visit. If you’re a fan of exotic animals, stop by the Singapore Zoo and check in with its 300-plus species that take up residence there. You can also take a “bumboat” from Changi Beach to Pulau Ubin, set away from the bustling city, and delight in its quiet mangroves. No Singapore sightseeing is complete without a visit to Marina Bay, a glowing, high-tech vision of the future, or Orchard Road, which boasts enough shopping to keep you occupied for several rainy afternoons. Yosemite National Park Vacation Travel Guide | Expedia

09:21
https://www.expedia.com/Yosemite-National-Park.d180672.Destination-Travel-Guides Yosemite National Park sits on the western slopes of California’s Sierra Nevada Mountains. Most visitors spend their time in Yosemite Valley, which despite being only 7 miles long and 1 mile wide, packs in more jaw-dropping scenery than just about any other place on Earth. Near the valley entrance stop at Tunnel View, and stand before a panorama that’s reduced generations of visitors to silence. From Tunnel View it’s just a short drive to Bridalveil Fall. Fed by snowmelt, the fall reaches its thundering peak in May. The Yosemite Valley ring road follows the banks of the Merced River, which shifts in character as it thunders from the valley walls, before gently winding across the valley floor. The ring road is dotted with trailheads that lead to 800 miles of hiking trails. The Four Mile Trail climbs the valley’s southern wall to two of Yosemite’s great outlooks, Glacier Point and Washburn Point. Further along the ring road is the trailhead for The Mist Trail, which offers stunning views of Vernal and Nevada Falls. For thousands of years, the Ahwaneechee had villages throughout this valley, but it was at the base of Yosemite Falls where their great chief resided. Take the one-hour hike to the lower falls, or spend the day climbing all the way to the upper falls. To the north of Yosemite Valley, is Tioga Road, one of the USA’s most scenic highways. Fill your lungs with alpine air at Olmsted Point, refresh yourself by the waters of Tenaya Lake, then spend the day at Tuolumne Meadow, the traditional summer hunting grounds of the Ahwaneechee. From its high country to its waterfalls, its towering sequoia groves to its valley meadows, Yosemite is an American story unlike any other.

Moscow Vacation Travel Guide | Expedia

07:01
Your trip to Moscow, Russia is bound to be a special one. From the multicolored spires of St. Basil’s Cathedral to the sturdy red walls of the Kremlin, there is much to see and do in this stunning city. Named after the Moskva River—which flows through the city—Moscow has long been at the forefront of the creative world. Tour Moscow to follow in the footsteps of Tolstoy and Chekhov, among others, and join in the sense of pride Russia feels for its literary tradition. Moscow has named a number of its parks and open spaces after its poets and authors, so take a break at the fountain in Pushkin Square, or rest beneath the leafy trees in Gorky Park. When you’ve gotten your fill of literary splendor, head to the Memorial Museum of Cosmonauts, where you can learn about the Soviet Union’s efforts to reach the stars and the epic space race that lasted from 1955 to 1972. Moscow is a city of creativity and innovation, but is also very much aware of its own history; as such, a haunting part of any Moscow sightseeing is a visit to the Fallen Monument Park. After the fall of the Soviet Union, countless statues and monuments were removed from their pedestals and moved to this park. Over the years, more modern artwork and sculptures have been added, turning the park into a strange, yet peaceful graveyard of former icons. What is your favorite part of Moscow? Washington DC Travel Tips: 10 Things to Know Before You Go to DC

20:01
Things you NEED to know BEFORE you go to Washington DC. DC is often referred to as "The District." You could easily spend a week in DC, especially if you want to see George Washington’s house in Mount Vernon and Thomas Jefferson’s house in Monticello. The City is laid out in a grid pattern with lettered streets running east-west, numbered streets running north-south. Diagonal streets — usually named after states — often intersect at circles (30 circles) Dupont Circle is my favorite circle. Comprised of four quadrants (NE, NW, SE, and SW), which spread out from the U.S. Capitol. Getting in There are three Airports -- none of them actually in DC Reagan (DCA) -- right next to DC -- connected by Metro or $20 Cab Ride Washington Dulles (IAD) Baltimore-Washington (BWI) Amtrak to Union Station Or Drive Transportation in DC Walk One of the 10 of the most walkable cities in the USA Travel + Leisure rated D.C. as the third rudest city in America, Metro Smart Trip Card Capital Bike Share 175 stations across the city Sign up for a day, or three Taxis/Uber plentiful Driving: Beware -- traffic is miserable and oneway streets abound Parking is expensive -- Use parking panda Museums Smithsonians are free Most on the national mall Air and Space has 2 locations -- one by Dulles Newseum and Spy Museum are expensive My favorite is the Bureau of Engraving and Printing No reservations required September 5, 2017 through March 2, 2018 Washington Monument elevator is really cool -- but it’s often broken Best gift shops are in the museums Government Stuff Capitol Building or the White House, make sure to book your tickets in advance. Capitol tour, reservations online or through your Congressional representative or senator. Capitol Visitor Center provides a limited number of day-passes starting at 9 a.m. White House, reserve a few months before your trip. Thru congressional representative. Time to visit Cherry Blossom Season Not the summer when all the school kids are there And the Summer is oppressively hot and humid, especially in August And maybe not when the govt is in full swing I like Winter -- no crowds at all Hotels Can be really expensive, as can parking My favorites are the Park Hyatt and the Mayflower Stay outside of DC in Arlington or Alexandria for cheaper hotels Just a short metro ride in to the city Food The national mall and monument area has almost no food Union Station and Le’fant plaza good for lunch, or around the white house Avoid the Chinese food in Chinatown -- it’s all really awful But George Bush’s favorite Chinese restaurant is just 20 minutes driving outside of DC Peking Gourmet Inn in Fall Church -- Awesome Peking Duck My Favorites: Potbelly My Favorites: Moby Dick House of Kabob My Favorites: Ben’s Chili Bowl DC is more than just monuments and the National Mall Get out and see the real DC Georgetown Penn Quarter Adams Morgan Smithsonian Zoo U Street Walk the red line Timecodes: DC General: 00:27 DC City Layout: 01:37 Getting in to DC: 02:35 Transportation in DC: 03:59 DC Museums: 06:02 Government Stuff: 08:51 Best time to visit DC: 10:05 DC Hotels: 11:43 DC Food: 13:51 The Rest of DC: 18:20 CLICK HERE TO SUBSCRIBE: http://bit.ly/yellowwsub You might enjoy watching some of my other USA Travel Videos: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLOVadUHX1B-Kv1gRgHpJoe33hGodcPi8R Yellow Productions on social media: FACEBOOK: https://www.facebook.com/YellowProductionsTravel INSTAGRAM: https://www.instagram.com/yellowwproductions/ TWITTER: ChrisRaney GOOGLE+: https://google.com/+yellowwproductions Check out my blog at: http://yelloww.net Yellow Productions Merchandise: https://www.teepublic.com/user/yellowproductions Music: Easy Lemon Kevin MacLeod (incompetech.com)

Top 10 Places to Visit in Singapore

Top 10 Places to Visit in Singapore SUBSCRIBE & CLICK THE BELL ► http://bit.ly/DBH-SUB SINGAPORE 4K DRONE FOOTAGE ► https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ax_AaLQtwKI&t=27s MY FILM MAKING KIT ► https://kit.com/davidsbeenhere Welcome to Singapore, one of the smallest countries in the world. Singapore is an island state located off the southern tip of the Malaysian peninsula in Southeast Asia. Besides being the world’s 2nd wealthiest country (second only to Qatar), Singapore is extremely clean and safe, boasting superior air quality and of course tons of great things to see, do and eat! Welcome to Gardens by the Bay one of the most amazing and botanical gardens in the world. A few things you can see here is the flower dome, the cloud forest, several gardens and the supertrees. The Supertrees are living and breathing sculptures rising above the gardens. For epic views, head up to the top of these supertrees and stroll along the 22-meter-high aerial walkway known as the Skyway to experience the Marina Bay area from a bird’s eye view. Next up we visit China Town! It's a great place to do some souvenir shopping, eat some local Chinese food and walk around. One of the highlights about visiting Singapore is to eat at a hawker center. This is a huge food court full of stalls. You need to eat Indian, Malaysian and Chinese. It's very inexpensive! The Marina Bay Sands Hotel is one of Asia’s most iconic buildings and home to the world’s most renowned infinity pool. To visit the pool you must be a guest of the hotel, but you can experience incredible views from the Skypark observation deck or from one of the 57th floor restaurants. Welcome to the Singapore Zoo! It was founded in 1973, we take a quick tour through the zoo to see the asian animals. Singapore Zoo was the first zoo in the world to have free roaming orangutans. The River Safari is located right next to the Singapore Zoo. It’s a fascinating journey through some of the world’s largest river systems like the Nile and the Mississippi. I was especially excited to visit the Giant Panda Forest. We are inside Thian Hock Keng Temple. It was constructed in the 1840s using the best materials from China at the time. In 1973 it was declared a national monument. Admission is free! Orchard Road is a major tourist attraction, and when you look around it’s easy to see why. This is where you come for some serious retail therapy, and with more than 10 shopping centers, there is plenty to choose from. The 20-storey Paragon is perhaps the most famous along the strip, with stores like Gucci, Prada and Burberry. It boasts over 200 stores in all. The Singapore Flyer is the worlds largest observation wheel. This ferris wheel has 28 capsules, each fits 28 people and it takes 28 minutes to do a complete rotation. Little India is where the Indian community settled in over 200 years ago. Now a days it is a commercial district. They have converted these shop houses into restaurants, shops, jewelry stores and offices. It's a great place to buy gold and try indian food! Singapore’s Changi Airport is second to none! You may actually want to have a layover here because of how many things there are to do – from a butterfly garden, to shopping and dining, relaxation areas, movie theatre, art installations, a swimming pool, and much much more. Visit The Netherlands - What to Know Before You Visit The Netherlands

12:12
Read the Blog for More Information on The Netherlands: https://woltersworld.com/all-the-little-things-to-know-before-you-visit-the-netherlands/ Heading to The Netherlands & Not Sure What to Expect? Well here we go through the top things that tourists should know when they visit The Netherlands. 1. It is The Netherlands, Not Holland. Holland is the name of two counties in The Netherlands. 2. The language of The Netherlands is Dutch, but as a tourist you really do not need to know any Dutch as the Dutch speak English extremely well throughout the country. 3. The Euro is the currency in The Netherlands and you can find ATMs all over the country. Credit cards are widely accepted as well. 4. The Netherlands is a small country with a very well developed transportation network. Therefore you can easily take trains all over the country in a fast and efficient way. Make sure you tap in and out with your tickets as you enter your platforms. 5. Biking is a very popular pastime and way to get around Dutch cities. There are a number of bike rental agencies throughout The Netherlands. Look for one near a train station and rent a bike for the day to explore, or sign up for one of the numerous bike tours around the country. 6. The Netherlands is rather safe for tourists. Do take care with pickpockets and extremely aggressive beggars in Amsterdam's more popular areas. The bike line is for bikes only so watch out unless you want to get hit by a bike and yelled at by a local. 7. Drugs bring a lot of tourists to Amsterdam and the Dutch/German border. If you are going to The Netherlands to experiment with soft drugs make sure you go to a "Coffee House" they have menus and trained personnel that can help travelers. We do not recommend you do drugs and highly discourage travelers from doing this. However, we do know a number of tourists do go there for that. So please be safe, and speak with the coffee shop attendant about your previous experiences so they can help you. 9. The best things about the Netherlands are the quaint cities and towns like Haarlem, Leiden, Groningen, as well as the larger cities of Amsterdam and Rotterdam. The architecture and museums throughout the country really are outstanding. And yes you will see quite a few windmills as you explore The Netherlands. 10. The food is hearty in The Netherlands, make sure you try a bitter ballen or a traditional pancake or herring from one of the stalls. The market and food halls have tons of great treats for travelers. There are numerous international restaurants all over The Netherlands as well. 11. The Netherlands is not a cheap place to visit, however the prices are on par with the US & other major European destinations. Amsterdam accomodation will be your biggest expense. Therefore you may want to stay outside of Amsterdam to have a cheaper and more Dutch experience. More information is listed below. You can go to most major electronics store and they should carry it. There are a few options, but I’ll cover the 2 basic types that I think is the best for travelers. (1) SIM card with a daily data transfer limits 220mb per day. You can get it for 7 days or 15 days. (2) SIM cards with a total data transfer limit of 1.5 Gb or 3GB that work for 30 day period. It doesn’t have a daily transfer limit which I personally prefer. And if I use up all the data in only a few days, you can just buy a new card. (* Note that the prices and data plans are always changing so depending on when you see this video, prices might have already changed. ) 7:39 #6 Smoking in Japan - https://www.japantimes.co.jp/news/2018/06/27/national/tokyo-lawmakers-approve-anti-smoking-ordinance-capital-gears-2020-olympics/#.W4jJC9gzbUI 9:18 #7 Riding the Train 10:16 #8 Non-Tipping Culture 11:52 #9 Hotel Fees in Japan 12:52 #10 Police in Japan ----- Channel Support ----- Want to help SUPPORT my channel or wanna buy me a BEER? From the lively neighbourhoods of Wellington to the breathtaking Fiordland of the South Island, there's an adventure tucked away in every corner of this impressive country. Consider living out your own Lord of the Rings adventure in Hobbiton, or hike past Mt. Doom in Tongariro National Park. Not thrilling enough? Then skydive over Auckland, go white water rafting down Kaituna River or take a leap of faith and bungee jump in Queenstown! When you're in New Zealand, nearly ever adventure is only a stone's throw away. Make the most out of your visit to this remote island nation by assembling your bucket list with our travel guide. Booking a tour will ensure your trip is fun, flawless and stress-free: http://www.tourradar.com/d/new-zealand New Zealand boasts a temperate climate with plenty of sunshine and moderate rainfall. Because of the long coast line, you can expect mild temperatures for the most part. The average temperature decreases as you travel south; January and February are the warmest months with July being the coldest month of the year. Remember to pack your waterproof hiking boots, waterproof rain jacket, swimsuit, flip flops, thin gloves, hiking socks, sunglasses, and a camera with extra batteries. New Zealand's currency is the New Zealand Dollar (NZ$). You should expect to be able to switch between cash and cards quite seamlessly, as all major credit cards can be used in New Zealand. Alcohol and restaurant meals can range from moderate to quite expensive so prepare yourself accordingly. We'd like to thank New Zealand's incredible tourism board for allowing use of their travel footage: http://www.newzealand.com/ ---About New Zealand--- New Zealand, exists on a remote island in the Pacific Ocean and is home to over 4.6 million people, and nearly 30 million sheep. The country is divided into two portions: the North and South Islands separated by the Cook Strait. The North Island is home to many hot springs and geysers while the South Island is mountainous, forested and covered in glaciers. Over 75% of New Zealanders call the North Island home, and more than 15% of New Zealand's energy comes from renewable resources. 🤟 Find your tour through New Zealand: https://www.tourradar.com/d/New-Zealand?utm_source=Youtube&utm_medium=social&utm_campaign=New+Zealand:+The+Ultimate+Travel+Guide+by+TourRadar+5+5+ST1809-New+Zealand&utm_content=YT+Description ℹ️ Learn more about New Zealand: https://www.tourradar.com/travel-guide/New-Zealand?utm_source=Youtube&utm_medium=social&utm_campaign=New+Zealand:+The+Ultimate+Travel+Guide+by+TourRadar+5+5+ST1809-New+Zealand&utm_content=YT+Description 🎬 Watch another video: "7 Things To Do in Sri Lanka": https://youtu.be/u3ZarK9wigk 📚 Visit us on Days to Come: "7 Unnatural, Natural Sights of New Zealand": https://www.tourradar.com/days-to-come/natural-sights-of-new-zealand/?utm_source=Youtube&utm_medium=social&utm_campaign=New+Zealand:+The+Ultimate+Travel+Guide+by+TourRadar+5+5+ST1809-New+Zealand&utm_content=YT+Description ✌️ Subscribe for more travel tips & inspiration: https://www.youtube.com/user/tourradar?sub_confirmation=1 🌍 #gotouring with TourRadar: https://www.tourradar.com ----------------------------------------------- 👫 Let’s get social! 5 Tourist Traps / SCAMS in ROME, ITALY

07:48
As beautiful as Rome is, there will always be people who try to take advantage of us unsuspecting tourists. 1) Unauthentic Italian restaurants They have the red and white Italian table covers, friendly ushers and a wine selection, but they're only targeting tourists. Why do you think? 2) Food karts They also ONLY target tourists. 5 euro water when water is free around rome, 3 euro gum and 7-8 euro tiny gelato that tastes like it was made with sewage water. Not even airports charge this much. http://www.expedia.com/San-Francisco.d178305.Destination-Travel-Guides Leave the regular world behind when you step into the fog-swathed “City by the Bay.” From shopping adventures in Union Square to a trip on the city’s legendary cable cars, a trip to San Francisco is bound to leave you with incredible memories. Stop by Fisherman’s Wharf and indulge in its shops and galleries, as well as some of the best fresh seafood you’ll ever taste. Walk on the Golden Gate Bridge and take in the fresh sea air and views of the bay and Pacific Ocean. If it’s a more serene environment you’re after, pass through the stately architecture and flowing lagoon of the Palace of Fine Arts. Of course, San Francisco sightseeing isn’t complete without an excursion to Alcatraz, the island prison that once held some of the country’s most notorious criminals. Look into its empty cells and thick stone walls and wonder, could you escape “The Rock”?
