The Yang Style is suitable for all ages. The great thing about Master Wong’s training method is it can be transferred in to combat too or even self defence. Tai Chi chuan relies on technique, balance and softness. Tai Chi Health This daily practice of Tai chi will enhance your mental capacity to deal with the stresses of every day life. Qigong or chi gong is practiced for this reason. The movements will strengthen your muscles and joints and improve your balance and co-ordination externally. As you master breathing you will become more aware of your bodies natural systems and begin to balance and control your respiration and circulation internally. Meditating while balancing your body internally and externally will lead to a balanced mind. Your memory will be better, you will pick things up quicker and the decisions you make in your life will be easier. Researchers have found that Tai Chi practice shows favorable effects on the promotion of balance control, flexibility, and cardiovascular fitness. Tai Chi has stood the test of time, millions upon millions of people practice Tai Chi to keep themselves young in body and mind and have been doing so for thousands of years. The slower and longer you practice the more beneficial it is. Play around with the short form like the 8 step to begin with to build strength and understanding, before doing the full 24 yang form. How do I know I’m doing it right? Your hands and body should feel warmer if not hotter when you have done the movements for a while. You may feel achy the day after training when you first begin. Later you will feel less achy as you progress. What is Tai Chi? (Also known as Taiji) There are 5 styles of Tai Chi forms. Yang, Chen, Sun, Wu, Ng. Tai chi chuan is a slow motion, moving meditative exercise for relaxation, health and self-defence. Now a days most people practice the Yang style for the health benefits. Originally from China and designed for combat, Tai Chi has gained enormous popularity in America and throughout the rest of the world for its health benefits and competitions. However many few are able to Master the combat side and rear to see Masters who can apply it in real time. Tai Chi chuan or also known as Taijiquan was originated by a Shaolin monk ‘Chan San Feng’, while studying in the Taoist monasteries on Wudang Mountain. For more info on the history please visit our website: http://taichicombat.com/ Yin and Yang According to Chinese philosophy, yin and yang are the two forces that generate chi. They are seen as opposites: yin is feminine and yang is masculine. But neither can exist without the other. And together they represent the perfect harmony that underpins all creation. The balance between yin and yang is never static. The course teaches how HTML and CSS can be made easy and teaches "front-end development" which is the visual part of websites. Creating static websites with HTML and CSS is easy and should not be seen as otherwise, which is why we want to explain the language in a easy to understand way for beginners. If you have suggestions on new courses, or specific lessons within existing courses you would like to see, then feel welcome to submit them in the comment section or in a private message. ALL suggestions will be seen, but not all will be replied to since we get quite a few every day.

T'ai Chi Chuan - Lee Family Style (Chee Soo) Complete Form 1993 Andrew Durham
T'ai Chi Chuan - The Supreme Ultimate (complete form) This T'ai Chi Chuan form is the only known record on film of the complete form performed during Chee Soo's lifetime. Filmed in 1993, it is a record of the direct teaching of Chee Soo, without any alteration. Andrew Durham who is performing this form studied under Chee Soo during the mid 1980's and early 1990's up until Chee Soo's death in 1994. Andrew worked very closely with Chee and for a sustained period in the 1980's Chee asked him to lead his Wednesday evening T'ai Chi class at Alderman Callow School. During this time Chee Soo also worked with Andrew, as a regular ifou shou (sticking hands) partner, and they became good friends. Andrew was awarded the 3rd Teng Chi (black and red belt) by Chee Soo in July 1989. In the Taoist tradition this film has been made available free of charge. It is hoped that the film will be helpful to anyone interested in the Lee Family Style of T'ai Chi. They have been made public for the first time so that they be preserved as an important historical document of a direct and contemporaneous lineage to the teaching of Chee Soo. The original video was filmed in Nuneaton UK by Ralph and Julian Sullivan in 1993 Follow this link for 227 Chee Soo Exercises - 166 K'ai Men exercises and 61 Tao Yin Breathing Exercises: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0BymS6-GudOc7ZFBsZFNmOFFIZmc/edit?usp=sharing

Simplified Tai Chi 24 form (YMAA Taijiquan) Yang style by Liang, Shou-Yu
DVD available: http://ymaa.com/publishing/internal/taijiquan/tai_chi_chuan_24_48_DVD In 1956, the Simplified (or 24 Posture) Taijiquan was compiled by the Chinese Sports Commission. Tremendous efforts were put into promoting Taijiquan. The 24 Posture Taijiquan was derived from the traditional Yang Style Taijiquan long form. It was the result of many Taijiquan masters working towards standardizing and simplifying Taijiquan, for use as a health promoting exercise. Many of the more complicated and repeated movements were deleted from the long form for ease of learning and practicing. The sequence starts off with very simple movements and gradually becomes more complicated. Even though the 24 Posture Taijiquan sequence is a simplified version of the long form, it is still a "traditional" sequence with the original martial applications in every movement. It consists of 20 different postures from the Yang Style Long Sequence. Three of the postures are done on both left and right sides, and one of the postures repeats itself, making a total of 24 postures. Because this sequence is based on Yang Style Taijiquan, the training guidelines and principles of Simplified Taijiquan follow the characteristic "flavor" of the Yang Style. The entire Simplified Taijiquan sequence should be performed at an even pace with no abrupt changes in the transition, and following the guidelines and principles outlined in the Detail sections of this DVD and in the textbook 'Tai Chi Chuan'. The instructions are presented with as much relevant information as possible in the Detail Section. For beginners, there may be too many details to assimilate at one time. In classroom instruction, the instructor often tells students to only pay attention to one or two aspects of the sequence at a time. As students get better at the primary aspects of the sequence, the teacher will then introduce more aspects of the movements to the students. As you learn from this video, it is recommended that you do the same — focus on one aspect at a time. When you begin to learn the postures, don't be overly concerned with coordinating your breathing with the movements. Once your movements are smooth, then start to pay attention to your breathing. Study the detailed guidelines and principles and try to incorporate them into the entire sequence. Liang, Shou-Yu was born on June 28, 1943 in the city of Chongqian, Sichuan Province, China. When he was six he began his training in Qigong, the art of breathing and internal energy control, under the tutelage of his renowned grandfather, the late Liang, Zhi-Xiang. Mr. Liang was taught the esoteric skills of the Emei Mountain sect, including Da Peng Qigong. When he was eight, his grandfather made special arrangements for him to begin training Emei Wushu (martial arts). Form II, Makashi Explained: Dooku's Deadly Lightsaber Style [Star Wars Legends]
The most disciplined and elegant of the classical lightsaber combat styles, Form II (or Makashi, the Contention Form and the Way of the Ysalamiri) was developed after the first Jedi fell to the Dark Side. With the emergence of the dark jedi and the Sith, it was suddenly necessary to be able to effectively combat other lightsaber users. As I went over in my previous video on Shii-Cho, Form I was simply not up to the task. Thus, the first specialised lightsaber fighting technique was developed: Form II, Makashi. In an era where the Jedi openly warred with the Sith, Mastering Makashi could be a literal life saver. If you need to do each form differently, just go to your site and right click the form, use inspect element to find the forms id attribute and add that to the css stylesheet.
