Risks or side-effects of the surgery?
There could be pain, stiffness, redness, swelling, bruisesin the breast region. But these are temporary & the effect subsides with the passage of time. However medicines will be provide to negate these effects.
It takes roughly 4-5 weeks to get back to normal. However, you may walk around on your own a few hours after the surgery. Within a couple of days you may leave your house for work, if your work does not involve strenuous manual exercise. It is strongly recommended to avoid any strenuous exercise/activity for approximately 1 week after the surgery.
