HTML Margin Left Using CSS In Detail - HTML Margin Left Creates Space On The Left https://youtu.be/OIZWxpr__Gk There no such thing as HTML margin-left. Margins are defined by CSS and the margin is applied to the HTML. The CSS margin top property defines the amount of space between the left side of one element and the right side of another. Margin-left is most commonly defined using pixels and percentages. CSS margins are different from padding in that margins apply space outside of an element and padding applies space within an element. That's all there is to it. I hope this video helps you! Using font awesome website we use icons in the project. Learn More From Our Website:- www.dailywebtuition.com Attribution Icon made by monkik from www.flaticon.com Music: https://www.bensound.com Photos: https://www.pexels.com Hey Everyone welcome back to daily tuition. in this tutorial I will show you how to create sidebar with animated hamburger menu. in this sidebar we will add website name navigation item and social links. along with that we will animate hamburger menu. so when you click on the hamburger menu you will see this sidebar. You can see this site is responsive for mobile devices also. we are using CSS for styling HTML and also use JavaScript to add click event to the hamburger menu. so before we start this video make sure you press the subscribe button and also press the bell icon to get notified of my every new video and also like this video if you find anything useful. so before we getting late let's get started. so first you need to open empty folder in the editor and create two file in that folder index.htm and style.css. in index.html file create simple HTML5 snippet and specify title text. I will spit this window so you will know what is going on. after that we link two files. first one is font awesome CSS file to use icon in the project and second is style.css In the body tag create a container class and in that class put the navigation with navbar class and specify ID nav ID. In the navigation create type button and specify a class toggle collapse and ID toggle button in this button create a span tag and specify class toggle icon using this class we create hamburger menu. Now we will create navigation. so we will add in order list tag with site nav class and here we put a li tag with nav item class. in the li tag we insert and anchor tag and specify site name class. so here we specify website name. after that we create second navigation item with item class and insert anchor tag with nav link class. So here we First specify first navigation item Home. after that we insert another li tag with nav item class and create anchor tag with nav link class specify blog text. I will fast forward this video and create features pricing and contact us navigation item. I will use same classes to create this navigation items. On the last navigation item we will insert social icon font awesome website. So I will add some social icon here Like Facebook Twitter Instagram and YouTube. how the time in style this HTML. in style.css select body tag and specify margin 0% and padding 0% then I will apply Font family and specify background colour two body of the document. then I will create navbar class and specify position absolute right 0% width 260 pixel you are free to choose your own navigation width. specify height 100% background colour black text align centre and transition property 0.8s then I will select side nav class which is child of navbar class specify list style type none padding 0 and margin 0. Create an nav item class specify display flex. then select the child element of navigation item navigation link and specific text decoration none colour font size 1.1em padding 1em and flex 1 property to fill the Remaining space of navigation item. after that create hover effect on a navigation link specify background and colour property. Now now we will align toggle button at the right place. to create toggle collapse class specified float property left margin left -3.3em margin top. 5em content blank outline inherit border 0px background transfer. now we will create toggle button. so using toggle icon class I will create toggle button. In the previous video I showed you how to create toggle icon with animation. we are creating the same code here also so you can skip this section review if you already watch the previous video if not then you can watch this video from the top right corner of the screen. in the toggle icon code I just made some changes And specify different width for horizontal bars of toggle icon. After creating the toggle icon we select site name class and specify text decoration none padding 1.3em font size 2em and color whitesmoke. Select the social icon using nav item last child i tag and specify padding .5em. Then create remove hover effect from the social icons. 5 MIN TUTORIAL - Responsive Web Design - SIMPLE EASY

RESPONSIVE WEB DESIGN TUTORIAL FOR BEGINNERS – MOBILE WEBDESIGN - HTML5 css3 Please have a look at my webpage where you can find extra information and download the pdf version. http://tomtomheylen.com/categories/Responsive_web_design/Responsive_web_design_part_1.php Exercise file http://tomtomheylen.com/download_file.php?file=responsive1_final&extention=html NEXT VIDEO – responsive images, videos, menus, backgrounds and hiding elements http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1hTkEV43P_Q IN THIS VIDEO YOU WILL LEARN How to make a responsive webpage using HTML and css The difference between a mobile website and a responsive website and why not to use the mobile version. You should have a basic understanding of html and css in order to follow along this video. I got really confused when starting to look into the topic of mobile devices, responsive web design and mobile sites. This video will save you the time and hassles. RESPONSIVE WEBDESIGN vs MOBILE VERSION A responsive website is one website that resizes all the way to fit the screen of the user's device Whereas a mobile version is a different website usually starting with m-dot Why not to use the m-dot version. Responsive web design doesn't require a separate website You only have to maintain one website that looks good on any device. m.dot websites can create errors when sharing url's, as they will be opened on desktop and mobile devices. When errors, Search engines will punish your site in ranking lower And the list goes on. HTML & CSS FOR RESIZABLE WEB DESIGN You can download the exercise file in the link below. http://tomtomheylen.com/download_file.php?file=responsive1_final&extention=html A good way to build your website is by making your html tags fluid. It is very easy to do by using percentage in your css. For this example we are making a head, menu, the content body and a footer, centered in the web browser. You only have to give the elements a min-height and a marging left and right. With min-height, the elements can increase if needed, Margin left and right are expressed in percentige to keep proportion for any screen resolution. And same thing for margin-top and bottom. You can play around with this figures to fit your needs. So here we have a responsive website!!! When I view this website on a mobile device however, it shows the website in full resolution and I have to zoom-in and out to navigate . Here is where the Viewport Meta Tag comes into play... The viewport metatag was Apple's solution to the problem and was quickly adopted by other platforms. But was never pud forward by the W3C. Therefor we will define a similar viewport rule in our css. And another one as a fix for internet explorer. The width adjusts the site to the device in normal view and landscape view. And zoom or initial 1 stands for no zooming. There are a whole bunch of viewport properties to use for every single device But to make it easy, we only use a few to fit all. I leave you a link as a reference. viewport reference: https://developer.mozilla.org/en/docs/Mozilla/Mobile/Viewport_meta_tag When we view our webpage on a mobile device now, it looks the way we want. NEXT VIDEO http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1hTkEV43P_Q In the next video you will learn how to make responsive navigation menus, responsive images and videos, responsive backgrounds and how to hide elements. 02. Flexbox - finished CSS with Media Query

01:43:33
Table of Contents: 00:08 - Center Aligning Using the margin Property Block elements can be center-aligned by setting the left and right margins to "auto". Setting the left and right margins to auto specifies that they should split the available margin equally. The result is a centered element: Example .center { margin-left:auto; margin-right:auto; width:70%; background-color:#b0e0e6; } 00:51 - Left and Right Aligning Using the position Property One method of aligning elements is to use absolute positioning: Example .right { position:absolute; right:0px; width:300px; background-color:#b0e0e6; } Note: Absolute positioned elements are removed from the normal flow, and can overlap elements. 01:25 - Left and Right Aligning Using the float Property One method of aligning elements is to use the float property: Example .right { float:right; width:300px; background-color:#b0e0e6; } 01:40 - A pseudo-class is used to define a special state of an element. Syntax selector:pseudo-class { css declaration; } Or selector.class:pseudo-class { css declaration; } Anchor Pseudo-classes Links can be displayed in different ways in a CSS-supporting browser: Example a:link {color:#FF0000;} /* unvisited link */ a:visited {color:#00FF00;} /* visited link */ a:hover {color:#FF00FF;} /* mouse over link */ a:active {color:#0000FF;} /* selected link */ 02:36 - Pseudo-classes and CSS Classes Pseudo-classes can be combined with CSS classes: a.red:visited {color:#FF0000;} <a class="red" href="css_syntax.asp">CSS Syntax</a> If the link in the example above has been visited, it will be displayed in red. 02:57 - 06:19 - Translate has officially inspired me to learn French Abby Author, NYC 08:14 - Translate has officially inspired me to learn French Abby Author, NYC 26:52 - A CSS pseudo-element is used to style specified parts of an element. Syntax selector::pseudo-element { css declaration; } Or selector.class::pseudo-class { css declaration; } Example usage: Style the first letter, or line, of an element. Insert content before, or after, the content of an element. 27:44 - The :first-line Pseudo-element The "first-line" pseudo-element is used to add a special style to the first line of a text. The "first-line" pseudo-element can only be applied to block-level elements. Format the first line of the text in p elements: Example p:first-line { color:#ff0000; font-variant:small-caps; } 28:10 - The :first-letter Pseudo-element The "first-letter" pseudo-element is used to add a special style to the first letter of a text. The "first-letter" pseudo-element can only be applied to block-level elements. Format the first letter of the text in p elements: Example p:first-letter { color:#ff0000; font-size:xx-large; } 28:39 - Pseudo-elements and CSS Classes Pseudo-elements can be combined with CSS classes: p.article:first-letter {color:#ff0000;} <p class="article">A paragraph in an article</p> The example above will display the first letter of all paragraphs with class="article", in red. 28:43 - CSS - The :before Pseudo-element The ":before" pseudo-element can be used to insert some content before the content of an element. The following example inserts an image before each <h1> element: Example: h1:before { content:url(smiley.gif); } CSS - The :after Pseudo-element The ":after" pseudo-element can be used to insert some content after the content of an element. The following example inserts an image after each <h1> element: Example: h1:after { content:url(smiley.gif); } 33:47 - By using the @media rule, a website can have a different layout for screen, print, mobile phone, tablet, etc. Media Types Some CSS properties are only designed for a certain media. For example the "voice-family" property is designed for aural user agents. Some other properties can be used for different media types. For example, the "font-size" property can be used for both screen and print media, but perhaps with different values. A document usually needs a larger font-size on a screen than on paper, and sans-serif fonts are easier to read on the screen, while serif fonts are easier to read on paper. 35:19 - The @media Rule The @media rule allows different style rules for different media in the same style sheet. The style in the example below tells the browser to display a 14 pixels Verdana font on the screen. But if the page is printed, it will be in a 20 pixels font, and in a red color. Notice that the font-weight is set to bold, both on screen and on paper: 35:50 - 42:50 - 44:10 - 44:35 - 45:15 - 45:52 - 45:58 - 46:08 - 47:40 - 48:05 - 01:01:25 - 01:01:59 - 01:02:58 - 01:15:06 - 01:15:48 - 01:34:24 - 01:35:21 -

CSS3 19 - Top 10 CSS Best Practices | CSS top guidelines to follow by every UI designer

11:35
Top 10 CSS Best Practices Readability Organize the Stylesheet Combine CSS Elements Appropriate Naming Convention Avoid Inline Styling Use External CSS Shorthand CSS Minify CSS file Cross-browser compatibility CSS Preprocessors Readability Write the CSS code in Proper alignment format. Don’t write the code in a single line. Break the code line by line. Example : Wrong approach: .example{background:blue;padding:2em;border:1px solid yellow;} Right approach: .example{ background:blue; padding:2em; border:1px solid yellow; } Organize the Stylesheet Put comment whenever it needs and it should be proper comment. Generic Element (body, a, p, h1,etc) .header .nav .wrapper Example /****** header ******/ styles goes here... /****** navigation ******/ styles goes here... /****** main content ******/ styles goes here... /****** footer ******/ styles go here... Combine CSS Elements Reduce code redundancy and write clean. Easy to follow code and its not messy. Multiple selectors having the same declaration so we can combine all the selectors in a single declaration rather rewriting the code. Example h1, h2, h3 {    font-family: verdana;     color: #e1e1e1; } Appropriate Naming Convention Naming of CSS elements is what they’re, not what they give the impression. Example Wrong : .post-large-font { } Right : .post-title{ } Avoid Inline Styling Inline styles are very much messy. It is difficult to understand. In future if wants to do some changes then its very difficult to find and do the changes. Use External CSS Pull all the CSS in a single external file. Easier to maintain. Page Loader Faster. External CSS file should include in the HTML. Shorthand CSS Shorthand CSS means set the values of multiple other CSS properties simultaneously. You can write more concise style sheets. Using Shorthand CSS you can save time. Example : Wrong img {     margin-top: 5px;     margin-right: 10px;     margin-bottom: 5px;     margin-left: 10px; }   button {     padding: 0 0 0 20px; } Right img {     margin: 5px 10px; }   button {     padding-left: 20px; } Minify CSS file Minify means reduce the file size. It Removes whitespace, Strip comments and Combines files. It can help the browsers to accelerate the stacking of your CSS codes. You can minify your CSS here: https://csscompressor.net/ Cross-browser Compatibility Cross-browser Compatibility means a website works in any version of any browser. -moz- /* this is use for Firefox browser*/ -webkit- /*this is use for chrome and safari browsers*/ -o- /*this is use for opera browser*/ -ms- /*this is use for Internet Explorer (but not always it's depends on CSS3 browser CSS Pre-processors CSS preprocessors is a scripting language that extends CSS and get compiled into regular CSS syntax. CSS preprocessors will add some features that don’t exists in pure CSS. In CSS preprocessors you can use variables, mixins, functions, nesting selectors, inheritance and so on. CSS Lesson 5 - CSS Borders, Margin and Padding

10:36
CSS Borders: CSS attribute, allow you to completely customize the borders that appear around HTML elements. With HTML, it used to be impossible to place a border around an element, except for the table. Border-style Border-width Border-color Border Styles: The border-style property specifies what kind of border to display. The following values are allowed: dotted  dashed  solid  double  groove  ridge inset  outset  none  hidden  Border-color: You customize the Border colors using css property called border-color. Margins: A margin defines the white space around an HTML element's border. CSS has properties for specifying the margin for each side of an element: margin-top margin-right margin-bottom margin-left All the margin properties can have the following values: auto - the browser calculates the margin length - specifies a margin in px, pt, cm, etc. inherit - specifies that the margin should be inherited from the parent element. CSS Padding:: A padding is the space between an element's border and the content within it. Padding - Individual Sides:- CSS has properties for specifying the padding for each side of an element: padding-top padding-right padding-bottom padding-left All the padding properties can have the following values: length - specifies a padding in px, pt, cm, etc. inherit - specifies that the padding should be inherited from the parent element CSS Height and Width: The Height and width properties are used to set the height and width of an element. Setting the width of a block-level element will prevent it from stretching out to the edges of its container.  max-width:-By using this Css property we can set max width of the element. ankpro ankpro training Asp.net MVC C# C sharp Bangalore Rajajinagar Selenium Coded UI Mobile automation testing Mobile testing JQuery JavaScript .Net

Tip of the Day #19: Differences Between Padding and Margin in Hindi | Padding margin Border in CSS

08:37
"Honestly, I have no idea how to ask, but if you donate using PAYTM to support me, It's gonna help me a lot." PAYTM NUMBER: 9518369954 Blog For Source Code: https://thapatechnicalblog.blogspot.com/ Welcome all, we will see Differences Between Margin and Padding in CSS in Hindi padding is the space between the content and the border. CSS has properties for specifying the padding for each side of an element: padding-top padding-right padding-bottom padding-left All the padding properties can have the following values: length - specifies a padding in px, pt, cm, etc. % - specifies a padding in % of the width of the containing element inherit - Specifies that the padding should be inherited from the parent element Note: Negative values are not allowed. #paddingvsmargin #marginpaddingcss #differencepaddingmargin CSS Margins The CSS margin properties are used to create space around elements, outside of any defined borders. With CSS, you have full control over the margins. There are properties for setting the margin for each side of an element (top, right, bottom, and left). Margin - Individual Sides CSS has properties for specifying the margin for each side of an element: margin-top margin-right margin-bottom margin-left All the margin properties can have the following values: auto - the browser calculates the margin length - specifies a margin in px, pt, cm, etc. % - specifies a margin in % of the width of the containing element inherit - Specifies that the margin should be inherited from the parent element Tip: Negative values are allowed. CSS Tooltips: How to make tooltips using html and css | HTML & CSS

38:44
CSS Tooltips: How to make tooltips using html and css | HTML & CSS CSS Tooltips: A tooltip is often used to specify extra information about something when the user moves the mouse pointer over an element. Explanation: HTML) Use a container element (like div) and add the "tooltip" class to it. When the user mouse over this div, it will show the tooltip text. The tooltip text is placed inside an inline element (like span) with class="tooltiptext". CSS) The tooltip class uses position:relative, which is needed to position the tooltip text (position:absolute). The tooltiptext class holds the actual tooltip text. It is hidden by default, and will be visible on hover. I have also added some basic styles to it: 140px width, black background color, white text color, centered text, and 6px top and bottom padding. The CSS border-radius property is used to add rounded corners to the tooltip text. The :hover selector is used to show the tooltip text when the user moves the mouse over the div with class="tooltip". Positioning tooltips: Use the position properties top,left,right and bottom to position the tooltips.As I used in the video. For example If you want the tooltip from bottom,then set the value of top property to 125% and left to 50%,and also add margin-left to -70px to keep the tooltip aligned center. And If you want the tooltip from left,then set the value of right property to 105% and the top to -25% to position the tooltip to left and aligned center. And use the same procedure for the rest of the sides to position the tooltips. Tooltip Arrows: To create an arrow that should appear from a specific side of the tooltip, add "empty" content after tooltip, with the pseudo-element class ::after together with the content property. The arrow itself is created using borders. This will make the tooltip look like a speech bubble. Position the arrow inside the tooltip: top: 100% will place the arrow at the bottom of the tooltip. left: 50% will center the arrow. Note: The border-width property specifies the size of the arrow. If you change this, also change the margin-left value to the same. This will keep the arrow centered. The border-color is used to transform the content into an arrow. I set the one side of border to black, and the rest to transparent. If all sides were black, you would end up with a black square box. I hope you liked my video.To see more videos related to HTML and CSS,don't forget to subscribe my channel. Thank You. HTML Margin Right Using CSS In Detail - HTML Margin Right Creates Space On The Right https://youtu.be/e4b0rigQCP8 There no such thing as HTML margin-right. Margins are defined by CSS and the margin is applied to the HTML. The CSS margin right property defines the amount of space between the right side of one element and the left side of another. Margin-right is most commonly defined using pixels and percentages. CSS margins are different from padding in that margins apply space outside of an element and padding applies space within an element. That's all there is to it. I hope this video helps you! The program I am using to demonstrate this align change, is going to be Dreamweaver CS6. Centering a website in dreamweaver is very simple and only takes a few steps. Start by opening your HTML editor, which will be Dreamweaver in my case. Then, Load the web page you are going to be working with. In this example, my website has a bright green background. The D I V box, where all my website content goes, has a white background. However, unlike a normal website, it is pushed to the left of the screen. Follow these few steps to center your box. Go to the style sheet, and add a few properties to the D I V box that you want to center. Add a new property, and type, margin, dash, left, colon, space, auto, and semicolon. Then add another property, and type, margin, dash, right, colon, space, auto, and semicolon. If you are having trouble with this additional code, you can find it in the description. TaDah, just like that, your website is centered. If you have any problems, or questions, send me a message, and I would be glad to help. I hope you liked this tutorial, please like my videos, and subscribe to my channel. Don't be afraid to ask questions. ADD THIS CODE TO YOUR STYLES SHEET: margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;

Why won't my floated border stretch to bottom of the page?

03:29
because a floated element doesn't figure out its own height. So absolute the left, and margin-left the right.

Create HTML Margins Using CSS In Detail - HTML Margins Create Space

07:57
Create HTML Margins Using CSS In Detail - HTML Margins Create Space https://youtu.be/ebFE1PaGoSg There is no such thing as HTML margins, instead there are CSS margins. The CSS margins property allows you to set the amount of space between the edge of one element and the edge of another. Padding on the other hand allows you to set the amount of space between the contents of an element and the edges of that same element. If there is one value in the margin shorthand then that value is applied to all sides. If there are two values then the first value is applied top and bottom and the second value is applied left and right. if there are three values then the first value is applied to the top, the second value is applied left and right and the third value is applied to the bottom. If there are four values then the first value is applied to the top, the second value is applied to the right, the third value is applied to the bottom and the fourth value is applied to the left. How to Create Button in HTML

04:09
Follow this step by step guide to learn how to design a menu by using UI buttons. Don't forget to check out our site http://howtech.tv/ for more free how-to videos! http://youtube.com/ithowtovids - our feed http://www.facebook.com/howtechtv - join us on facebook https://plus.google.com/103440382717658277879 - our group in Google+ Till now you have learned to design a web UI button and its html code to place it on the web page. Now we move forward and create a menu for UI by using the same technique which we used in previous parts. Here you will get an idea for how to design a UI menu, its UI interface design, usage, functions of tables and few more advance techniques. Step # 1 -- Create a Blank Text Document In the first step, we created few simple menu buttons by using the same technique discussed in the previous part. Place all buttons, your desired logo image and a blank text document in a new folder named "Web_button". Step # 2 -- Insert the CSS Styling Code Now open the text document and type in the "Html" tag to begin coding. Open the "Head" tag, place the "Style" tag in it and define the "ID" of the button by placing "#" before its name. Once done, enter the following code, "Margin-left: 100px; Display: Block; Width: 75px; Height: 35px; Background: url(home.png) no-repeat 0 0;" This is the same code which we used in the previous part of the tutorial to define the style of the button, only new thing we used here is the left alignment margin. Similarly define the "CSS" for all menu buttons according to their width and height separately. Step # 3 -- Insert a Table In the next step, close the "Style" and "Head" tags and move over to the body of the html page by entering the "Body" tag. Here we are using a table to place menu buttons on the page. For creating a table, type in the following code, "table" Now enter "br /" twice to give the spacing of two lines. Once done, type in the code "tr img src="logo.png" alt="Your Logo Here" width="200" height="100" style="margin-left:100px;"/ /tr" The term "TR" defines "Rows" in a table, "Img" refers the "Image" and "Src" is the code used for source. File extension of the image is necessary and the "alt" is used to add alternate text which is displayed if the picture is unable to open. Rest of the code defines the image's height, width and alignment in a cell. Now again give it the spacing of two lines by entering the "BR" code twice. Step # 4 -- Insert a Hover Tag Once done, place the "Anchor" tags of menu buttons between the "TR" and "TD" tags which specify the rows and columns of a table where "TD" refers to the "Table Data". Now close the "Anchor" tag and complete the HTML code by closing the "Body" tag and the "Html" tag. Step # 5 -- Save the Text File as Html Once you have completed the html coding, save this text file containing the menu for UI as html. Remember to choose the "All Files" option from the drop down list while saving the file as html. Step # 6 -- Using the UI Button After saving the file as html, go to the "Web_button" folder. There you will find your saved file in it. Now double click on it to open the web page on a browser. Your UI interface design is complete and available for viewing.
How to center an image in HTML

05:13
Hey guys, my book CSS Visual Dictionary – https://www.amazon.com/dp/1983065633 Explains all of this and more with 150+ visual diagrams in detail! In this tutorial I am going to briefly go over how to center align an image in HTML. Placing the image in the middle of your page, can be done via inline CSS "style" attribute within the element tag. Centered images can also be done by wrapping the element in "center" tags. The result of this code is an image nicely aligned to the middle of the screen in your browser. All you need to start is your favorite text editor and Chrome (or other) browser. You can use the HTML center tag, but more commonly web developers use style attribute to accomplish the same task. The quick HTML way is, just be careful because although it is becoming outdated in HTML5 it will still work. <center><img src = "lion.jpg"></center> Using CSS attribute: <img src = "lion.jpg" style = "display:block; margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;"> or <img src = "lion.jpg" style = "display: block; margin: 0 auto;"> Or use the same CSS code within "style" attribute, but move it to your style tag inside the head tag, in your HTML page: <style type = "text/css"> img { display: block; margin: 0 auto; } </style>

How to move an image more to the right on your Blog Page

04:40
Website - http://www.imsocialmediatraffic.com My blog -- http://www.gr8socialmediatraffic.com - (For "Backlink Beast" - http://tinyurl.com/BestBacklinkSeoSoftware) How to move an image more to the right on your Blog page When I tried to move the image for "Backlink Beast" a little bit more to the right & away from the left margin of my Blog post, using the spacer bar of my keyboard, it just reverted back to the left margin - although the link for "Backlink Beast - Best SEO Software" did stay where it was moved to. I found a way to add extra text to the html code for both the image & the link so that I could position them both exactly where I wanted them to appear. For the image to be shifted right - in between the words "img src" I inserted some text style="margin-left: 150px;" with the number of pixels determining how far to the right the image would be shifted. For the link to be shifted right, title=" was deleted & style="margin-left: 180px;" was inserted in its place -- again the number of pixels determining the distance out from the left margin. On a blog editing page there are 2 tabs -- the Visual Tab where what you see is what you get & the Text Tab where you find all the html code which can be modified. Backlink Beast is a valuable program which automates the process of backlinking to your Website & Blog enabling you to rank #1 in Google search pages consequently gaining the huge advantage of interested traffic. Presented by: Aakash Biswas Duration: 33.24 minutes Watch Tutorial 1: https://youtu.be/u2HGuimb15w Watch Tutorial 2: https://youtu.be/k4ZzT18qcYI Watch Tutorial 3: https://youtu.be/KHLiT_0dSt4 Watch Tutorial 4: https://youtu.be/dvD-Trsdt3A Watch Tutorial 5: https://youtu.be/yY1-Zyg2kqs CSS Box Model All the elements in HTML can be considered as boxes. the term "box model" is used in CSS when talking about design and layout. The box model is essentially a box that wraps around every HTML element. It consists of: margins, borders, padding, and the actual content. Content - The content of the box, where text and images appear Padding - Clears an area around the content. The padding is transparent Border - A border that goes around the padding and content Margin - Clears an area outside the border. The margin is transparent CSS Margins The  margin properties are used to generate space around elements. The margin properties set the size of the white space outside the border. CSS has properties for specifying the margin for each side of an element: 1)margin-top 2)margin-right 3)margin-bottom 4)margin-left The auto Value You can set the margin property to auto to horizontally center the element within its container. Margin Collapse Top and bottom margins of elements are sometimes collapsed into a single margin that is equal to the largest of the two margins. This does not happen on left and right margins. CSS Padding The  padding properties are used to generate space around content. The padding clears an area around the content of an element. There are properties for setting the padding for each side of an element: top, right, bottom, and left CSS has properties for specifying the padding for each side of an element: 1)padding-top 2)padding-right 3)padding-bottom 4)padding-left All the padding properties can have the following values: length - specifies a padding in px, pt, cm % - specifies a padding in % of the width of the containing element inherit - specifies that the padding should be inherited from the parent element CSS Height and Width The height and width properties are used to set the height and width of an element. The height and width can be set to auto which is default. The browser calculates the height and width. Or it can be specified in length values, like px, cm or in percent (%) of the containing block.

HTML Padding Bottom Using CSS In Detail - HTML Padding Bottom Creates Space On The Right

03:36
HTML Padding Bottom Using CSS In Detail - HTML Padding Bottom Creates Space On The Right https://youtu.be/3cqDWFm44cY There no such thing as HTML padding-bottom. Padding is defined by CSS and the margin is applied to the HTML.The CSS padding bottom property defines the amount of space between the contents of an element and the top edge of the element. Padding-bottom is most commonly defined using pixels and percentages. CSS padding is different from margins in that margins apply space outside of an element and padding applies space within an element. That's all there is to it. I hope this video helps you!
