How far is the horizon?

04:49
Use this equation to figure out how far away the horizon is! The square root of your height above sea level (in feet) x 1.17 = distance to horizon in nautical miles. (1 nautical mile = 1,852 metres)

Flat Earth - The Horizon is NOT always at eye level.

00:58
One argument the Flat Earther's use is that the Horizon appears to rise as you gain altitude. They never provide an accurate method of measuring the Horizon against true level. In this video the HUD show an accurate level position in steadly level flight. (the two small circles). At 47,000ft you can see clearly the Horizon has dropped below this level and this is more proof the Earth is Curved.

How Boats Vanish Over the Horizon -- Big Pier Level

// EDIT: I now have a "analyzed" version of this video at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0xWsuFLdgBs . This is the raw footage. // Just a long, long, looooooooong boring video of an actual boat disappearing over the horizon. For people who care about reality. Taken on Big Pier (information provided on earlier videos) on a tripod about 3 or 4 ft tall over the deck. Taken at mid-tide on very very flat water.

Horizon rising, eye level perspective

02:32
Perspective causes the horizon, not a spherical Earth. This video is to show that our perspective is what causes objects like ships to "sink" below the horizon. It's simply a trick of our perspective's vanishing point. But we are taught that the horizon is because of the Earth's curvature. This video proves that flat terrain will also appear to have curvature, when it simply does not. The earth is FLAT jack! Drop of the horizon, measured with theodolite, 5m to 184m

31:44
In this video I show how to measure the drop of the horizon from eyelevel, using a theodolite. I have done nine observations from 5m to 184m of altitude. The measurements from these nine altitudes and locations I then compare to what we would expect with the globe Earth model (a sphere with the radius of 6371km). I also estimate the influence of mirages. If you just want the conclusion go to 31:18. Does the Horizon Always Stay at “Eye Level”

03:47
A oft-stated claim in support of a flat earth is that the horizon always rises to "eye-level." On a globe earth, the horizon will not stay at eye-level as height above the surface increases. The horizon, then, should be able to tell us if we live on a globe or a flat earth. The Horizontal Horizon

09:06
Whether at sea-level, the top of Mount Everest, or flying over a hundred thousand feet in the air, the always horizontal horizon line always rises up to meet the eye-level of the observer and remains perfectly flat. You can test for yourself on a beach or hilltop, in a large field or desert, aboard a hot-air balloon or helicopter; you will see the panoramic horizon ascend with you and remain completely level all around. If the Earth were actually a big ball, however, the horizon should sink as you ascend, not rise to your eye-level, and it would dip at each end of your periphery, not remain flat all around. Standing in a rising balloon, you would have to look downwards to the horizon; the highest point of the ball-Earth would be directly beneath you and declining on each side. http://www.EricDubay.com http://www.AtlanteanConspiracy.com http://www.IFERS.123.st

Is earth actually flat? Zooming in on boats (experiment as a neutral) Nikon

04:00
After the flat earth theory was brought to my attention like most people who have followed the globe theory, i automatically thought it was madness....but i didn't completely dismiss it as i have never actually done any practical research myself. So with the opportunity to do this brief test i thought the result was interesting. Im not preaching a flat earth the same way i didn't preach the sphere model when i had 100% faith in it. But all is not what it seems i believe.
The Earth is only 70% Flat Level Water, and the rising Horizon debunks the Globe

17:33
Greetings Earthlings. In today's Observable Science lesson, we are going to go back to kindergarten and learning the difference between a spherical object versus a Flat Plane. Since grown adults can't seem to understand this glaringly simple Fact, I am presenting Empiracle Evidence of how our vision works when observing two very distinct shapes. The fact that a Flat Level horizon is even visible at all from an airplane at 40,000 feet elevation, this alone is Empiracle Evidence that we are NOT on top of a sphere Earth. A "curved horizon" simply is not reality, and the sphere underneath your feet only DROPS the higher you ascend into the sky. A horizon is the point of convergence between the sky and a Flat Plane, therefore it will ALWAYS mimic the Flat Level ground we walk on. The Natural physics of water assumes the shape of whatever vessel it rests in. Standing Bodies of Water always Levels off FLAT on top, no matter how large the vessel is. Once water is filled into a vessel, it will remain Flat and Level on top until the vessel is disturbed or the water flows over the vessel. At this point the water finds the path of least resistance and then travels DOWN to the next level until it puddles up or is collected in another vessel where it Levels Off at the top again. It doesn't matter if it's inside a bathtub, a swimming pool, a lake, or the massive oceans.. Standing Water does not wrap itself around the Exterior of an object and Stick to it from all sides, especially a spinning ball hurling through space at 66.6 thousand miles per hour. There exists not one scientific experiment that shows this happening. All Verifiable, Repeatable, Demostratable, and Observable Evidence shows the Oceans are "Sea Level". No matter what math equation or ridiculous theory of gravity Globe defenders want to use, it cannot refute this Empiracle Evidence. Case closed. The Earth is 70% Flat Level Water and the Globe is just a figment of your imagination programmed into your mind by Agents of Disinformation. No amount of CGI or photo shop or Go Pro Fisheye Lens distortion will EVER stand up to Honest Sceintific Scrutiny. Game Over Heliocentrist Sun worshippers! "Today's scientists have substituted Mathematics for experiments, and they wander off through equation after equation, and eventually build a structure which has NO relation to Reality". - Nikola Tesla

Beautiful Flat Mother Earth, Cape Byron Australia

09:09
Another glimpse of Cape Byron and Julian Rocks, my go-to for Flat Earth proof. It sits above the horizon when viewed from sea-level, yet is clearly surrounded by miles of flat and level water beyond when viewed from above. The horizon shows not so much as a millimetre of sphericity. And I live in paradise. Still putting the call out to anyone who is interested in becoming a Flat-Earth Truther Activist in the extremely popular tourist location. Not a confrontationalist, just a low-key spreader of truth and interviewing beautiful people from all around the world, with Julian Rocks in the background and maybe a few posters or similar dropping Flat-Earth truth-bombs. Get in touch in the comments or email me at [email protected] I can arrange affordable accommodation for the right person/couple. Ideally you have good photography equipment and editing skills, and together we can make historic videos that will end this ridiculous notion of living on a spinning ball once and for all. Cheers.

Flat Earth Inquiry - Horizon Observation from Inage Seaside Park (Part II)

01:32
Almost the whole stretch of the Tokyo Bay Aqua Line Bridge, which is about 4.4km long and about 40.85m above sea level at its highest point, could be seen from the Inage Seaside Park beach which is about 24km away from the Aqua Bridge. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tokyo_B... http://www.city.chiba.jp/toshi/koenry... http://www.keiyobank.co.jp/ir/csr/inf... Using the commonly accepted Earth curvature calculation formulae , we would expect nearly 70% of the Aqua Bridge to be out of sight and under the horizon of the observer whose eye level is about 2 meters above sea level and standing at about 24km of distance away from the Aqua Bridge. http://www.smokescreendesign.com/curv... However, as one could visibly see the outline of almost the entire length of the Bridge from top to bottom even at the very end connecting to Kisaratsu City where the height above the sea level is the lowest, one could not help but think if the Earth could actually be flatter than the established globular model.

Flat Earth - How The Horizon Is Always Level With The Flat Water Surface

01:00:33
The Newtonian hypothesis involves the necessity of. the Sun, in the case of a lunar eclipse, being on the opposite side of a globular earth, to cast its shadow on the Moon: but, since eclipses of the Moon have taken place with both the Sun and the Moon above the horizon, it follows that it cannot be the shadow of the Earth that eclipses the Moon; that the theory is a blunder; and that it is nothing less than a proof that the Earth is not a globe. Astronomers have never agreed amongst themselves about a rotating Moon revolving round a rotating and revolving Earth - this Earth, Moon, planets and their satellites all, at the same time dashing through space, around the rotating and revolving Sun, towards the constellation Hercules, at the rate of four millions of miles a day! And they never will: agreement is impossible! With the a Earth a plane and without motion, the whole thing is clear. And if a straw will show which way the wind blows, this may be taken as a pretty strong proof that the Earth is not a globe. Mr. Proctor says.- "The Sun is so far off that even moving from one side of the Earth to the other does not cause him to be seen in a different direction - at least the difference is too small to be measured." Now, since we know that north of the equator, say 45 degrees, we see the Sun at mid-day to the south, and that at the same distance south of the equator we see the Sun at mid-day to the north, our very shadows on the round cry aloud against the delusion of the day and give us a proof that Earth is not a globe. ------------------- SUBSCRIBE - https://goo.gl/cg5vAK Watch more FLAT EARTH videos in the following playlists: * Biblical Flat Earth - https://goo.gl/UqptKK * Flat Earth Documentaries - https://goo.gl/uBSTV3 * The Flat Sun - https://goo.gl/TX2zkW * The Flat Moon - https://goo.gl/ZWDopw * The South Pole - https://goo.gl/YgHeBP * The Flat Earth - https://goo.gl/ERtsK8 * Mandela Effect - https://goo.gl/KHANuH * Liked Videos by "Research Flat Earth" - https://goo.gl/GPeqLw

Ocean Acidification

05:06
In this video Paul Andersen shows how carbon dioxide in the atmosphere is causing a decrease in the pH of the oceans. The carbon dioxide combines with the water to create carbonic acid which dissociates into bicarbonate and carbonate anions. Decreased pH leads to lower metabolism and immune response in marine species. Increased bicarbonate makes it difficult to form shells and reefs of calcium carbonate. Snowboarding in Iceland | Horizon Lines | Episode 1

09:56
"How is it that this place does not see more snowboarding? The setup is perfect for foot-powered, high-angle riding—hundreds of mountains laced with steep, clean, chutes. Once you’re here, access is as simple as picking a line, parking or anchoring below it, and walking straight up the 300- to 1,500-foot faces. With thick sea-level air on your side, you can tag multiple lines in a day. Is the elevation too low for trophy-hunting peak-baggers?" - Jeremy Jones Iceland x Chile x Japan a film by: Nick Kalisz & Field Day Studio photographer: Andrew Miller original score: Sean Cameron & Dave McLeod of Subtropic Sound starring Forrest Shearer, Jeremy Jones, Josh Dirksen, Bryan Iguchi, Orange Man, Kohl Christensen, Alex Lopez, Nick Russell, Kael Martin, Griffin Siebert, Chris Christenson, Alex Yoder, Ramon Navarro, and friends. Flat Earth Inquiry - Sea Horizon and Earth Curvature

10:18
An experimental tryout on the supposed Earth curvature which should be observed according to the Globular Earth Model. At a distance of about 24.5km between Tokyo Aqua Bridge and Kaihin Hakumari Park, with an eye level of 3.5m above sea level, only about 6.7km of horizon could have been observed and about 24.9m of Tokyo Aqua Bridge should be obscured and below the horizon. However, the actually observed portion of the bridge along with its supporting pillars remaining visible is much greater than what should be expected based on the Earth curvature theory.
