Sharks in your mouth If I ruled the earth I'd sail ships over seas til sundown Then I'd return In dark to walk these streets alone By day I hear the serpents calling me This leads me from the shore in search of the deepest abyss I am forever covering my tracks, and standing here with less than an existance Though I hold the key to everthing This sinking feeling never dies I'll chase my sunset laced with pride in this heartless gallion (x2) Although I'd rather fill my lungs and rapidly decend And lay with my thoughts under bleak starlight I'll keep pushing on through perpetual darkness Then in hell I'll seek my confidence... Then I'd return, in the dark to walk these streets alone, The twilight here wont embrace my words like waves do The feel of dry land is making me sick So I stand here coughing up sharks till My neon glowing neck breaks This sinking feeling never dies I'll chase my sunset laced with pride in this heartless gallion (x2) Walking through the dark here's to a new beginning It's time to bow your heads to A nations swinging axe While you search for answers planted in the ground I'm happy watching you, dance your legs down to your knees I'm happy watching you, be infatuated with love I'm happy watching you... watching you Die

Women Lost at Sea For 5 Months Were Attacked by Tiger Sharks
More from Inside Edition: https://www.youtube.com/user/cbstvdinsideedition?sub_confirmation=1 Two women who were lost at sea for five months say they think they were on the brink of death when they were saved by Navy rescuers. Jennifer Appel and Tasha Fuiava were left stranded after their engine broke during what was meant to be a month-long voyage. As their boat drifted, they were twice attacked by tiger sharks. Eventually, they were seen by a fishing boat. Their dogs Zeus and Valentine looked just as joyous when the USS Ashland arrived to save them.

How sharks affect us all | Ocean Ramsey | TEDxKlagenfurt
Sharks on a world wide scale suffer under their reputation as brutal killers. They are close to extinction due to human prosecution. Ocean Ramsey explains why they are a valuable and fundamental part of the oceans´ eco-systems and encourages everyone of us to help saving them... for our own good. Ocean Ramsey´s passion sounds rather scary to many of us. She dives with white sharks and is passionate about showing the beauty of them. White sharks are nowaday close to extinction, as they are misunderstood beings suffering under their wrong interpretated nature. Even though sharks are very intelligent and highly helpful in keeping the oceans in a healthy balance by eating ill organisms, they are seen as a danger. It is her goal to generate a better understanding between humans and sharks in order to save them. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at http://ted.com/tedx

Top 5 Deadliest Sharks
These are the most dangerous creatures that glide below the surface. From the great white to the tiger shark, these marine animals are dangerous predators of the ocean. Gliding just below the surface, these ancient apex predators can transform a nice summer day into mayhem in a matter of seconds. Here are the 5 most dangerous sharks: 5 - The Bull Shark There are more than 375 shark species. Bull Sharks grow 2 to 3 1/2 meters long & clock in at 90 to over 230 kilograms in weight. They are known for their tendency to head-butt victims before moving in to attack. What makes them particularity alarming is their proximity to humans. Unlike other sharks, they live in warm water near coasts worldwide, making a human encounter with a Bull Shark far more likely than with many other species. Think you’re safe outside the sea? Think again. Bull Sharks can, & do infiltrate freshwater rivers! Their physical makeup, especially highly developed kidneys, grant them access to rivers & lakes up to a thousand miles inland. They’ll snack on almost anything, including dolphins, various fish & other sharks. You that right. The Bull Shark is a cannibal. 4 - The Oceanic Whitetip These audacious open-water opportunists are unwelcome first-responders to any nautical disaster. The USS Indianapolis is one of the best-documented cases. Up to 800 sailors perished in the incident. But don’t let their smaller size fool you. Their jaws are exceptionally powerful & devastating. Oceanic Whitetips don’t limit their onslaught to unlucky seamen. They have been known to go after swimmers & divers with ruthless zeal. 3 - The Shortfin Mako Number Three on our list is the Shortfin Mako also known as the blue pointer. They are 4m of fast-moving fish & their lightning speed has earned them a place on this list. Shortfin Mako aren’t especially problematic for humans while in the water, but for fisherman it’s a different story. The shark’s speed causes intense momentum, giving it the ability to hurl out of the water, sometimes landing unexpectedly onto fishing boats. They are the fastest shark recorded, reaching speeds of 32 km an hour, which enables them to jump as high as 6m out of the water. Shortfin Mako sharks have a tendency to fling themselves right out of their natural habitat into ours, like a real life Sharknado. The ensuing damage can be devastating to vessels & fatal to fisherman. They may pose little threat to swimmers, but be beware if your boat is bobbing above them. 2 - The Tiger Shark Jaws might haunt your nightmares as the ultimate villain of the seas, but you’d be forgetting about his little, equally vicious, brother. Australia & Hawaii suffer the brunt of these vicious beasts that glide through their waters. It is as aggressive as it is common, The Tiger Shark, also known as the “garbage can of the sea” for it’s less than picky appetite. It will eat anything, including people, so an unlucky encounter with a Tiger Shark could be your last. Their jaws are designed to pulverize even the hardest shells of sea turtles, making them no match for humans. 1 – Great White Are you hearing the theme music yet? If so, you already know... Number one on our list is none other than The Great White. Great White Sharks have a reputation as oceanic demons, rising from the depths to snatch & butcher unsuspecting swimmers. Great whites can identify a single drop of blood in 100Ls of water, which makes you think twice about jumping into the sea with a skinned knee! Are they the bloodthirsty maniacs that Hollywood has painted them to be? They are certainly terrifying & can, & do, inflict gruesome damage, but the more we learn about Great Whites. Just be careful if you’re floating above them with your surfboard!

10 Friendliest Sharks in the Ocean
Do you love sharks? Check out the friendly sharks swimming under the sea from amazing whale sharks to petting leopard sharks! 5 We’re friends, not food – and both sides can say that Photo courtesy of San Francisco’s Aquarium of the Bay, this beautiful snapshot shows one of many reasons why people are fearing sharks less and trying to protect them more. We are not a shark’s prey of choice to begin with, and these critters can actually help us a lot. Swimming with sharks is a booming area of sea and ocean tourism, and diving instructors, marine biologists and conservationists around the world are working hard to educate underwater adventurers about proper shark society etiquette. Not only do they boost the economy, they are a major inspiration for engineering as well: scientists are hot on the trail of creating artificial shark skin. 4 The largest fish in the sea Gentle giants of the ocean, the whale shark, also known as the largest fish in the sea. Gorgeous creatures with spotted backs and white bellies. You don’t need to fear their wide gaping mouths they only feed on plankton. Good news for us, since whale sharks are a welcomed tourists attraction. They are becoming endangered and the more people get to view these massive creatures up close the better the odds that people will want to help save them. Little is known about how the whale sharks migrate or what their mating patterns are, but it was recently discovered that they eat small fish as well as plankton! If you look at this still taken from a video captured by Conservation International in Indonesia you can see a whale shark with high unusual behaviour. A fishing net that has a hole in it has attracted the whale shark and it starts to out the little bait fish like a baby! It’s really incredible. Fun fact: Individual whale sharks can be identified by the spots on their side! 3 There’s always that one friend that stands out This is one of those rare moments of interspecies contact that leaves all the netizens everywhere gaping in awe and cuteness overload. The shark in this picture is a tiger shark, one of the most powerful underwater predators known to us, and affectionately rubbing its nose we can see Jim Abernethy, an adventurous scuba diver. This encounter happened off the coast of the Bahamas, and this particular shark is pretty famous for its friendliness. Her name is Tarantino. People who go swimming with sharks as a tourism gig aren’t likely to hang out with tiger sharks, because that’s just a bit too risky for inexperienced divers. They’re right behind the great whites in jumpiness, so it takes a fair few years of training before you can go and strike up a mute conversation with one of them. Tarantino, however, is a famous exception – totally used to divers, and just loves the petting and affection! 2 Smile for the camera, everybody! Allie Johnstone of Raggamuffin Tours featured this photo on their blog, illustrating a tour of the Hol Chan Marine Reserve where people can come and visit an adorable group of nursing sharks. Although a shark that lives in a man-run marine reserve will obviously be way more tame than a wild one of the same kind, nursing sharks are still among the species that are the most peaceful around humans. They’re the ocean’s couch potatoes. They chill at the bottom, waiting for night time to munch on a fish or squid, and are completely passive towards people unless they’re directly attacked, which makes them ideal buddies for beginner scuba divers and first-visit shark enthusiasts. Their mouths do have a pretty strong suction ability, though, so you probably shouldn’t lean in for a kiss. Maybe stick to high fives like Eli Martinez editor of Shark Diver Magazine does with friendly lemon sharks. 1 The friendly shark that saved a fisherman’s life Back in 2012, a sea sailing was made a lot less terrible by a shark. Instead of eating a lost fisherman, the shark actually saved his life – just another reason for us to save the sharks in return. Toakai Teitoi from the island of Maiana and his brother in law, Ielu Falaile, were cast adrift in the Pacific Ocean for almost three whole months. Mr. Teitoi’s brother in law was overtaken with dehydration in early July, and Mr. Teitoi himself survived alone on rainwater up to September 11th, when he was woken up in the middle of the night by a nudging at his wooden boat. There was a shark circling him and bumping its nose against the hull. Mr. Teitoi looked up to see the stern of a ship and the crew watching him through binoculars. As soon as he started waving at them, the shark up and left, and Mr. Teitoi was taken aboard and treated, and made a full recovery in time – although he says, for his next trip, he’ll take a plane. If that shark hadn’t of woken him up he might have never been saved.

Sharks : Scavengers of the Seas - Documentary
Before being an earthly paradise with enchanting colours, the lagoon of New-Caledonia is above all a paradise for sharks. Usually considered as fierce predators, sharks really are opportunistic scavengers. Scavengers that are not too picky when it comes to their menu: feathers, fins or fur, anything will do. Amongst the most striking scenes which punctuate this documentary filmed for four years in New Caledonia, is the never-seen-before sequence of the planet’s greatest animal, a weakened blue whale, attacked and cleaned up by hordes of sharks from the surface down to the abyss. High quality images and a dramatic backdrop soundtrack plunge us into the shark's world. BIGGEST Sharks In The World!

Megamouth Shark This shark was discovered by accident in 1976 when it was caught by the US Navy after it got stuck in some cables around Hawaii. These sharks are able to grow to up to 17 feet long. In fact, due to how it was caught, and the fact that Megamouth Sharks aren't seen very often, we have very little proof of just how many there are out there. 7. Tiger Shark This is one of the most aggressive sharks in the water today, and yes, it's one of the biggest. Their average size is about 10 to 14 feet, but some large specimens can measure up to 20 feet long!! The Tiger Shark is known for its fierceness, aggressiveness, and it's "genetic programming" to attack. 6. Hammerhead Shark Easily one of the most recognizable animals in the world, the Hammerhead Shark can grow to up to 20 feet long! Some of the other "features" that the Hammerhead Shark has might just surprise you. For example, its eyes are able to see in perfect 360 degree capability. Which means it's virtually impossible to get the jump on this shark. 5. Greenland Shark If you've never heard of the Greenland Shark, don't worry, there's a reason for that. This very unique species of Shark likes the northern waters of the world. You'll find it in the tips of the Atlantic Ocean, the Arctic Ocean, and the White Sea. And even if you go there, you'll likely never see one. Why? 4. Great White Shark You might be surprised that one of the most legendary sharks in all of existence is only No.4 but hey, if we're talking size, the Great White Shark isn't the biggest, but it may be the most fearsome. 3. Basking Shark Like the megamouth shark, not all sharks are scary predators. The Basking Shark is a very large shark with a rather docile personality, and small-time eating habits. Size-wise, the Basking Shark can vary, with reports saying that it can reach up to 44 feet in length! The average size is about 22 to 29 feet which is also not too shabby. 2. Megalodon In the ancient world, there were many predators, and many were ones we should be thankful were extinct. One of the ones we should put into that category was the Megalodon. This massive shark was indeed real, despite certain tales that it wasn't, and it was one of the most frightening things ever found in the ocean. 1. Whale Shark Now, while it's true that the Megalodon is the biggest shark of the ancient world, when it comes to the biggest shark in the world today, that title goes to the Whale Shark. There's a reason it's called the biggest fish in the world, as they've been recorded as growing up to 66 feet in length, and they weigh a massive 25 tons. That's 50,000 pounds! To get some perspective, a whale shark can be wide as a basketball court. Hybodus The first teeth of Hybodus were found in England in 1845. They decided to call this animal the Hybodus which means “Humped Tooth” because of their unique shape. They lived in the oceans between the Late Permian Period and the Late Cretaceous period- about 259 million to 66 million years ago. Almost 200 million years is an incredibly long time for a shark species to be around, with most only lasting for a tenth of that. It’s therefore thought to be one of the most effective shark species to have ever lived, particularly because it wasn’t the dominant predator at the time- it had to contest with much larger monsters like the Plesiosaurs and Mosasaurs. The Hybodus sharks were very similar to today’s great whites, but a bit shorter. They were 6 feet long and weighed up to 200 pounds, which would make them just a bit bigger than an average human male. They were well adapted to the treacherous oceans because they actually had two sets of teeth. They preyed on fish, whales, and small marine animals- and their first set of teeth were used to tear them apart. Their second set of teeth, on the other hand, jutted out from their jaws- and it’s thought that these were used for defensive purposes against the much larger predators that they had to face! 9. Scapanorhuynch The Scapanorhynchus is a prehistoric shark that resembles today’s Goblin sharks. They had a long protruding snout that is thought to have contained electrical sensors to help them hunt prey in the dark, deep waters in which they lived. Here, vision would be completely useless, but the snout’s ability to detect electrical impulses of other living organisms would allow the shark to hone in on them without much difficulty. Who needs eyes in the deep sea anyway? Fossils have been found that suggest they grew to up to 10 feet long, but also as small as 20 inches. They are thought to have lived between the Aptian period and the early Paleogene period, which means from about 120 to about 70 million years ago. Their teeth were relatively big compared to the size of their bodies, but one particularly interesting physical characteristic was the formation of their fins. Their tail fin was much larger at the top than the bottom, which would suggest they weren’t very strong swimmers in open water. This shape is not very convenient which probably means that they would instead lurk near the ocean floor waiting for prey to swim nearby. 8. Mongolepis With fossil records of Mongolepis dating back to about 420 million years ago, it’s one of the earliest species of shark that existed, along with the Ele-gestol-epis and the Poly-mero-lepis. Very little is known about how these sharks lived, what they ate, or what they even looked like so I don't really have that many pictures for you!! In the meantime here is a random picture to keep you entertained!! All that remains are extremely rare fossilized teeth, and even they are very different to those of the sharks that we see today. By far the most unusual thing about the Mongolepis, though, is that they had scales. Modern day sharks have evolved with skin that is made from tooth like structures, known as placoid scales- but the scales of the most ancient sharks are far more similar to that of other fish. This further supports the idea that they were among the very first species of shark, because they would have only just begun to take a different evolutionary route to other types of fish that they shared the same ancestors with. Other than that, you have to kind of put your imagination to work to decide what they might have looked like. Sharks - Creepy Sea Creature Facts | Mocomi Kids
http://mocomi.com/ presents: Sharks - Creepy Sea Creature Facts Did you know that sharks eat even other sharks? Find out more facts about these creepy creatures in this video! The small carpet shark lies on the ocean floor like a rug. Blue sharks are called the wolves of the sea because they stay together in packs. The most dangerous shark in the sea is the great white shark, named after its white belly. Sharks never sleep and don’t stop swimming, as they do not have air balloons like other fish in them, which makes them sink. A shark has a very small brain. Bull sharks are one of the few sharks that can live both in fresh water and sea water. A hammerhead shark has an eye and a nostril on each end of its hammer-shaped head. As it swims it keeps swinging its head from side to side, picking up signals from the water. A Cookiecutter shark has jaws that are perfectly round like a cookie or biscuit. When it sinks its teeth into its prey, it tears out a cookie-shaped mouthful. Basking sharks swim with their mouth wide open, trapping tiny sea creatures along the way. The Tasselled Wobbegong shark has frills of skin around its mouth. These frills look like bits of seaweed, that small fish swim up to and nibble, ending up being eaten by the shark instead. Port Jackson sharks like to feed at night. They rest during the day in gaps between the rocks. The angel shark rests on the seabed- it flaps its fin to cover itself with sand that it becomes almost invisible. The Most Rare Shark Species Hidden in The Ocean
top 10 rarest but most amazing sharks you need to see Subscribe to TheHub http://goo.gl/87YJzG Sharks are creatures that strike fear into the hearts of many, although the truth is that sharks have more to fear from us than the other way around. Many of us just picture the great white shark as being the only kind of shark out there, but there are a ton of unique species of sharks out there, so many of which you may never have heard of! The greenland shark is thought to be one of the oldest species of shark in existence, and specimens have been found that are up to 400 years old! You might think that all sharks have fearsome teeth, but the megamouth shark and basking shark are planktivorous sharks, meaning that they feed only on small animals and plankton. And not all sharks are giant, hulking predators. The angular roughshark and the pyjama shark are both likely smaller than you are. If you’re looking for a truly bizarre looking shark, make sure you check out the goblin shark. We can definitely see where it gets its name! The speartooth shark is able to live in both fresh and salt water, and only in the last couple of years have we managed to tag adult members of this species. The frilled shark may look more like an eel than a shark, but just wait until you catch a glimpse of its teeth! And the wobbegong family of sharks enjoys traversing the bottom of the sea floor so much, that they have even begun to walk on it in their own way! Deep Sea Starfish There are more than 2,000 known species of sea star, ranging from those that you find in rock pools to those that you’d see on a coral reef- but amongst the most bizarre ones that have been found are those that live deep below the waves. 9. Glass Finger This strange species of sea sponge that lives in deep waters are called Glass Fingers. Apart from looking like glass, their name actually comes from the way that their skeletons are formed. 8. Deep Sea Spider If you’re not too fond of spiders around your home, then these next creatures will show you how lucky you are to live on land! Spiders of epic proportions do live among us and grow to huge sizes of the coast of Antarctica. 7. Acorn Worm Acorn worms can live anywhere from the shoreline to over 3000 meters (10,000 ft) deep. They are very unusual creatures. There are actually only less than 100 known species of Acorn worm, and most varieties grow up to 1.5 feet long. 6. Barreleye Fish If you didn’t know any better, you might think this fish was some kind of aquatic robot used to spy on submarines during the cold war! The Pacific barreleye fish is an extraordinary creature that lives deep in the ocean’s waters. 5. Giant Isopod The Giant Isopod is another creepy creature that lives at the bottom of the sea. Related to pillbugs, it’s not actually a bug. It’s a carnivorous crustacean that crawls around the deep sea floor looking for food- from the remains of creatures that have fallen to the depths, or slow moving, living creatures like sea cucumbers and sponges, that it’s able to catch up to. 4. Dragon Fish The deep sea dragonfish, also called the Barbeled Dragonfish, is a family of fish that are found in the deepest parts of the ocean around the world. In all, there are nearly 300 different known species, each of which have their own unique characteristics. 3. Mariana Snailfish The ability for scientists to explore the deepest parts of the ocean has improved significantly in recent decades, which has led to a number of unmanned research missions to the deepest known place on Earth! 2. Sleeper Sharks Sleeper sharks are very rarely seen by ocean researchers. They are known to live in the Pacific and Atlantic Oceans and grow to up to 23 feet (7 meters) long and weigh up to 1,958 pounds (888 kg). A discovery in 2016 completely changed the way these creatures are understood. 1. Devil Worm All of the other animals on this list live in the ocean, since they provide much more habitable environments than are available underground, and far more research has been done in the water because it’s easier to access. This final one, though is the exception. Origins Explained is the place to be to find all the answers to your questions, from mysterious events and unsolved mysteries to everything there is to know about the world and its amazing animals!

Did They Find a Living Megalodon In the Mariana Trench?
Сould Megalodon sharks still be alive in the deepest parts of the ocean? Science tells us that Megalodon sharks are extinct. Given that it was a massive shark with noticeable feeding habits, we guess that if Megalodon sharks were still roaming the oceans, they would probably have been spotted by someone by now. But perhaps not if they lived in the deepest place on Earth: the Mariana Trench. TIMESTAMPS: What the name Megalodon means 1:49 Megalodon’s size 3:26 The deepest spot on Earth 4:13 Could Megalodon live in the Mariana Trench 5:00 How many people reached Challenger Deep in the Mariana Trench 6:39 #megalodon #marianatrench #meg Music: https://www.youtube.com/audiolibrary/music SUMMARY: - The Megalodon shark roamed the oceans as early as 23 million years ago, and we have their fossils to prove their existence. When people first encountered Megalodon teeth, they believed them to be rocks that had made their way to Earth from the moon. - Megalodon was the biggest shark to terrorize the ocean, and it is thought to have gone extinct 2.6 million years ago. The name Megalodon means “big tooth.” Most of the recovered Megalodon fossil teeth have been 4” to 5”. But there are a few enormous teeth that are over 7”. - The Mariana Trench is 6.83 miles deep and measures more than 1,500 miles long and 43 miles wide. To put the depth into perspective, if you were to put Mount Everest into the Mariana Trench, the top would still be sticking out. To put the length into perspective, in 1,500 miles you could fit all the states between Florida and Massachusetts. 1,500 miles is also the distance between Madrid, in Spain, and Copenhagen, in Denmark. - To survive in the Mariana Trench, Megalodon would have had to adapt to the living conditions and evolve. It would also have to switch its diet from whales, dolphins, sea lions, and sea cows to whatever organisms reside in the Mariana Trench and hope that it could find and eat its usual 2,500 lb of food per day. - According to the United Nations, there are 7.6 billion people in the world today, and only 3 of them have made it to the deepest point on Earth. The reality is that with so little research, it is impossible to know what lies in the depths of the Mariana Trench. Trapped on a small raft with nothing but a hook made of old plastic, players awake on a vast, blue ocean totally alone and with no land in sight! With a dry throat and an empty stomach, survival will not be easy! Raft throws you and your friends into an epic adventure out on the big open sea, with the objective to stay alive, gather resources and build yourself a floating home worthy of survival. Resources are tough to come at sea: Players will have to make sure to catch whatever debris floats by using their trusty hook and when possible, scavenge the reefs beneath the waves. However, thirst and hunger is not the only danger in the ocean… watch out for the man-eating shark determined to end your voyage! ● Multiplayer! Survive by yourself or with friends in online co-op! ● Hook! Use your hook to catch debris floating by. ● Craft! Build survival equipment, weapons, crop plots and more to help you stay alive! ● Build! Expand your raft from a simple wreckage to a buoyant mansion. ● Dive! Drop anchor and explore the depths for more resources. ● Fight! Defend your raft from the dangers of the ocean.
