Amazing!! Where the Baltic and North Seas meet all about this channel in here https://goo.gl/D1zMrA In the resort town of Skagen you can watch an amazing natural phenomenon. This city is the northernmost point of Denmark, where the Baltic and North Seas meet. The two opposing tides in this place can not merge because they have different densities. The province of Skagen located in Denmark has witnessed the beauty of the convergence of the two seas. It is characterized by a clear line which separates the two water and shows a magnificent display of natural beauty. Also mentioned in holy Koran, this sea meet is due to the difference in density of both sea waters which appear as adividing line on the ocean. There is a clear difference in the color of the waters coming from two different seas. At the headland at Grenen, the northernmost point of Denmark, the North Sea and the Baltic Sea meet. Because of their different densities, a clear dividing line can be seen. As a result of turbulent seas, beachings and shipwrecks were common. These frequent losses combined with the town's strategic location as the gateway to the Baltic led to Skagen being the site of one of Denmark's earliest lighthouses.

baltic seas and north seas meet underwater This is an urban legend. The picture shown is not the Baltic Sea and North Sea, and the border shown is not due to salinity gradient. The picture is from Alaska, showing where dirty glacial meltwater was flowing into the open ocean. It's a temporary phenomenon caused by sediment washed into the ocean -- microorganisms thrive on the nutrients. The color is not due salinity. There is no such border between the North Sea and Baltic Sea. It's an urban legend spread by Reddit. Waters of different salinity levels will mix quite easily when exposed to disturbances from wind, waves, and current. Salinity separation phenomena like haloclines are only stable in low-energy systems like caves or when constantly regenerated by persistent effects like surface evaporation. In either case, the halocline is a horizontal boundary (eg gravity puts the lighter fluid on top), not a vertical line like is shown in the picture.

Check out our new website for more incredible history documentaries: HD and ad-free. http://bit.ly/2O6zUsK The most exciting underwater story of the modern age On June 19th 2011 the Swedish-based diving company Ocean Explorer discovered something extraordinary. They were exploring in the Baltic Sea between Sweden and Finland, looking for sunken treasures when a very unusual image suddenly appeared on the sonar. A 197ft diameter cylindrical object was discovered at the depth of approximately 275 feet, something they had never seen before. In this documentary special, we follow the treasure hunters and their crew on their expedition to reveal what could be the most extraordinary discovery in deep sea ever. We share the tension, the excitement and the nervousness that threats – both known and unknown – may be enforced. There is reason to believe that their ship is under surveillance. Using advanced equipment - ROW cameras, sonar pictures and human divers, we discover that the findings really are something very strange and incredibly unique. Danish forces scrambled to intercept a Russian bomber plane above the Baltic Sea. Surprise Russian forays into international skies near NATO allies have made Moscow's neighbors nervous. NATO and neutral air forces regularly track Russian warplanes flying above the Baltic at short or no notice.

The baltic sea anomaly | UFO at the bottom of the sea. The Baltic Sea anomaly is a 60-metre diameter circular rock-like formation on the floor of the northern Baltic Sea. It was discovered by Peter Lindberg, Dennis Åsberg and their Swedish "Ocean X" diving team in June 2011. To date, we have explored less than five percent of the ocean. The ocean is the lifeblood of Earth, covering more than 70 percent of the planet's surface, driving weather, regulating temperature, and ultimately supporting all living organisms. Studies suggests there are as many as eight undiscovered whale and dolphin species, 10 undescribed marine reptiles, and thousands of sponges, crustaceans, algae, plants, and other species still to be found. The average depth of the ocean is about 12,100 feet. The deepest part of the ocean is called the Challenger Deep and is located beneath the western Pacific Ocean in the southern end of the Mariana Trench, Challenger Deep is approximately 36,200 feet deep. So with this knowledge we should keep an open mind about what could be laying at the bottom of the sea.

For Germans this Island is very well known for its beaches and spa like atmosphere. Especially the chalk cliffs are famous. I did a roadtrip and visited a friend on Ruegen and had to realize again, that my home country has also really nice places to visit...if the weather is good:) See places like Sassnitz, Binz, Sellin, Proras. But the east coast has even more interesting places like Strahlsund, Lübeck, Fehmarn or Timmendorfer Beach. Enjoy the film. LOVE PEACE RESPECT and HAPPINESS! Do not forget to comment, like, share and subcribe;) Thanks for watching! This video is not sponsored. #Ruegen #BalticSea #Germany Music by myself (DJ Ax) All Material filmed on location. The meeting of North Sea and Baltic Sea at Skagen/Grenen, at the northernmost tip of Denmark. This is where Skagerrak and Kattegat meet. It is clearly visible how the waves come from both sides, then clash into each other. A fascinating spectacle of nature!

How is it on the balcony of the Norwegian Star cruise ship en route to Ålesund Norway from Copenhagen? In late May, the wind was cool to cold, and the waves were moderate. Once sailing the Fjords, however, the ship slows down and you can enjoy the views even better.

In the summer of 2015, Jenny Tough cycled from Copenhagen to Copenhagen, a complete 3800km circumnavigation of the Baltic Sea, solo and unsupported, in 35 days. The trip started with freezing nights camping in deep forests of the Nordic countries, then transitioned to terrifying and at times goofy Russian traffic, then she explored the ex-Soviet Baltic nations, slept on stunning white-sand beaches in Poland, and finally pushed hard on exhausted legs through Germany and Denmark to arrive back in Copenhagen within hours of her designated cut-off time. Her film is her first attempt at filming her adventures, and was entirely self-shot and edited on a single GoPro.

Two oceans coming from two different directions crashing into each other at the northernmost tip of Denmark. Kinda cool. And it reminds me of The Last Unicorn. Even cooler. And, as you can guess, looong sandspits out into the middle of the ocean can get pretty windy. If you unzipped your coat, it would flap behind you like a cape.
