Why are Males often More Physically Aggressive?
Tournament vs pair-bonding The term I keep coming across to describe humans (and other species) is "serial pair bonders" or "serial monogamist". We tend to fall madly in love for a few years and then fall out of love. But considering all the diversity in human sexuality, and the fact that there are billions of us, it's hardly beneficial to put a label on it. You'll get polygamists, you'll get monogamists for life, you'll get males who are attracted to males, you'll get males who feel like they are female and who are attracted to females... and you know everything else. Looking at animal behaviour and the reasons for animal behaviour is just a way to start thinking about behaviour on a evolutionary scale. These are not necessarily models to explain human behaviour. Every species and every community will have a different world of when it's appropriate to be aggressive and when it's appropriate to be sexual. From secondary sources I've read that male and female humans are equally aggressive (how this is measured I do not know) but that males are more "physically aggressive". But that a big part of the difference stems from male vs male aggression. For example, from what I can see from internet article statistics (not really statistics), females and males are similar in counts of "physical domestic aggression". 12 Main Differences Between Men and Women
Many people say that men and women are from different planets. We are not really sure that it’s about planets, but most likely about physiology and some other things. Women are different from men in many aspects and some of these differences are even advantages. TIMESTAMPS - Men and women get dressed in a different sequence 0:35 - Women are less inclined to take risks 0:57 - Men have a better sense of direction 1:38 - Women are better at multitasking 2:25 - Women see a wider range of colors than men 3:24 - Women have a better sense of smell 4:37 - Men handle sleep deprivation better than women 5:18 - Alcohol and women are a heck of a mixture 5:44 - Some women have to put a lot of effort into going down the stairs 6:22 - Men and women shake hands differently 7:01 - Men and women look in the mirror for different reasons 7:27 - The female body changes more often 8:10 Summary: -Most women get dressed from top to bottom, while men usually go the other way. -Women have a tendency to be more worried about others, men are more willing to throw caution to the wind. -Males do better at tasks requiring spatial awareness, like finding the way. -Women are better at multitasking than men, especially in stressful situations. -Women can differentiate more colors on the spectrum than their male counterparts due to their genes. -Female genes also make women more sensitive to smells. -Men can adequately perform daily tasks even if they didn’t get enough sleep, while it makes women feel more tired and less enthusiastic. -The female body doesn’t cope with alcohol as well as the male body does. -It’s hard enough walking in high heels, let alone going down some stairs in them. -When some women shake hands, they just offer their hand but don’t move it. Men do it firmly and actually shake their hands. -Women they tend to notice the negative stuff even in the most perfect look, while men check out their reflection to admire their favorite body parts. -The female body goes through so many more changes during a woman’s life than the male body does during a man’s life. I Peter 3v1-4 Women are weaker than men
I Peter 3:1-4 Women are weaker than men 3:1 “Likewise” tells us that husbands should be looking out for the spiritual wellbeing of their wives (I Corinthians 11:3). If a husband fails at this, the wife is NOT to preach the gospel to him, because he is still her head. Rather, she “wins” her husband by her “chaste conversation” (3:2). 3:2 Man’s job is to think correctly. Woman’s job is to act correctly (Titus 2:1-6). If women act correctly, it will help men think correctly and vice versa. 3:3-4 Women should focus on the inner man, submitting to their husbands even when their husbands are wrong. Women should not care how they look on the outside (I Timothy 2:9-10), because “beauty is vain” (Proverbs 31:30).

14 Facts About the Male Body You'd Better Know
What are the differences between male and female bodies? Besides the obvious, of course. There are actually a lot of processes happening in the background that make the 2 genders very different. Perhaps some of these facts will be a revelation to you! Keep watching to check out how men’s bodies compare to women’s and how they fare on their own. TIMESTAMPS: When men listen, they only use half their brain 1:18 Men have poor night vision 2:08 Men are more likely to be left-handed 2:35 Men have more blood than women 3:16 Men are not affected by cellulite 3:37 Men sleep better than women 4:17 It is easier for a man to lose weight 5:02 Men see moving objects better than still ones 5:30 Men’s senses are different from women’s 6:06 Men are more likely to get a fat belly 6:36 Men have a weaker immune system 7:05 Men usually have a bigger bladder 7:42 A man’s body produces more oil 8:10 Men’s bodies are warmer 8:33 Music: https://www.youtube.com/audiolibrary/music SUMMARY: - The researchers believe that if a woman has a stroke on the left side of her brain, she might recover her ability to manage language faster than a man would. - If a man is on a really dark road with a female companion, she might have a better chance of driving through safely. - A meta-analysis of 144 studies concluded that men have a 1.23% higher chance of being left-handed than women. - Men have it easy when it comes to cellulite as only about 10% of them develop it. This affects the 2 genders differently because men and women have different ratios of muscles, fat, and connective tissues in their bodies. - A leading sleep expert from a sleep research center in the UK claims that women need an average of 20 minutes more sleep time than men. This is because a woman’s brain can often be focused on multitasking and, therefore, needs more recovery time. - Men don’t have to do any exercise to burn more calories than women. On average, men have more muscle than women, and that’s why their bodies burn 20% more calories. - A study on men’s vision asked men to track fast-moving black bars and decide whether they moved left or right. Men were able to make the right call in only a tenth of a second; women took over 25% longer to decide the direction of the bars. - Men got the short end of the stick when it comes to color perception. Numerous studies have shown that men have a hard time distinguishing shades in the middle of the color spectrum (blues, greens, and yellows). Women, on the other hand, can recognize tiny differences in shades. - High testosterone causes a lower immune response when it comes to vaccinations for influenza and other infectious diseases. The female hormone estrogen increases the immune system’s inflammation; the male hormone testosterone decreases it. - Men usually have a bigger bladder. This is why you often see scores of women waiting in line for the bathroom, but the men’s bathroom is empty. Because of their bigger bladders, men need to empty them less often than women. - Men’s bodies contain 1.5 times more oil and sweat glands than women’s. That’s why a man’s skin might look more oily. Ladies, be ready. Your men are about to start complaining about the man flu! We all know men act like the world is ending when they get the flu... but new studies show they may have a valid reason. Dr. Kyle Sue conducted a study that proves men's symptoms may be worse because their immune systems are weaker than women's. Women are more likely to respond to flu vaccines and men *self-reportedly* take longer to recover from viruses. Time points out: "There are major limitations to these studies: among them the biases of the author, the low-level quality of some of the evidence and a failure of the review to take into account sex-related behavioral differences. Sue, who acknowledges these barriers, calls for further research to help determine if the phenomenon is truly psychological, or if there’s a physiological basis to man flu." Are you buying that man flu is a real thing?

5 Red Flags for Weak Glutes (FIX THIS!)
Build Muscle Here - http://athleanx.com/x/my-workouts Subscribe to this channel here - http://bit.ly/2b0coMW Weak glutes are one of the most common muscle weaknesses exhibited. The irony is, the muscles of the hips and glutes are designed to be the strongest in the entire body. Given their location around the pelvis and their influence on the center of mass and spine, they are designed to be incredibly strong and capable of providing stability in all three planes of motion. As you’ll see in this video however, many of us are walking around with very weak glutes and I’m going to show you how to figure this out quickly. There are five tests that you can easily perform to determine the status of your glutes. The first is the simple quadruped kneeling leg extension test. Here you want to get on all fours and straighten one leg out behind you. Make sure the knee is straight and that your hips are squared up to the ground. From here, attempt to squeeze your glutes on one side and lift that leg up towards the ceiling. Do you feel an intense contraction in the glute muscles? If so, that would be a good sign that you have the ability to activate your glutes. That is not enough however. From here, you now need to bend the knee to further shorten the hamstring and put more of the emphasis on the gluteal muscles to perform the same activity of lifting the leg towards the ceiling. Squeeze again and see if you are able to reproduce the same discomfort. If not, that is your first red flag. Be sure to test on both sides as imbalances are common between the right and left legs. Next you want to perform the bridge test. Lay on your back and press your heels into the ground with a bent knee position. Lift your hips as high as you can. If you already start to feel some cramping in your hamstrings on either side this would be an early red flag that you are dealing with weak glutes. If not, then proceed to lift one leg in the air and see if you can hold your trunk and pelvis up throughout the test without sagging. Once again, if you feel cramping here or if the pelvis is unable to be kept lifted then you will need to address the weakness in your glutes. The third test is the lunge test. Here you want to see what the strength of your glute medius is in the frontal plane. Take whatever weight you would normally use for a set of 12 to 15 reps of dumbbell lunges and then combine that weight into one hand. So if you used 25lbs for example in each hand, you would hold a single 50 pound dumbbell in one hand for this test. Lunge out with the leg that is opposite the hand holding the dumbbell and try and maintain an upright torso without fallling towards or leaning to the weighted side. If you can’t, then you have a major red flag for glute medius weakness. The fourth test is actually more of a detection of a symptom. Do you have low back pain that is pin point located just to the right of the bony prominence on your pelvis called the PSIS. If so, this could be coming once again from weakness of the glute medius muscle. I did an entire video on this topic that you are going to want to see as it shows you how to fix this problem instantly by using a myofascial technique. Low Back Pain Fix - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DWmGArQBtFI Finally, the complicated and difficult dragon flag ab exercise is actually much more easily performed if you allow the glutes to do their part. I show you how the lack of glute activation is a tell tale sign in the poor performance of the exercise and if you can’t activate them to improve the way you do this movement then you definitely should be alerted to the red flag pointing to the weakness. As you can see, the glutes are a major and important muscle group in the body that cannot be overlooked regardless of whether you are a high performing athlete or an average joe dealing with the repercussions of having weakness in this area. If you are looking for a complete program that overlooks nothing when it comes to training every muscle in the body, be sure to head to http://athleanx.com and get the ATHLEAN-X Training System. Most of us are okay with that fact, and women have learned to live in a male dominated society, they do well for the most part. That is, most women have found a way to be okay with being a little weaker than the average man, but others have not. These are the women who acknowledge that they need to work hard to be strong, and give it their all. And today, we will be looking at 10 of the strongest women on earth.

Intermittent Fasting: Why Women Should Fast Differently than Men
Click Here to Subscribe: http://Bit.ly/ThomasVid Website: http://ThomasDeLauer.com Intermittent Fasting: Why Women Should Fast Differently than Men - Thomas DeLauer Everywhere you look on the internet, you're going to have someone telling you that fasting is terrible for women. They're going to tell you that your thyroid is going to be destroyed. They're going to tell you that your hormones are going to be completely out of whack, and that you're never going to recover. Well, it's not quite the truth. In this video, I want to give you the A to Z breakdown of what happens to the female body during a fast, during intermittent fasting in particular. How often should a women fast? What can they expect? What's happening with their hormones and what's happening with their reproductive system? In this video, I'm going to take you through A to Z what goes on, starting with the starvation and the hunger hormones, leading into your reproductive hormones, then leading into your thyroid. Let's dive right in, and men, this video's for you, too, because it's going to help describe exactly what's going on in your body, as well. Okay, here's the thing. When it comes down to starvation hormones ... we're talking leptin, ghrelin, insulin, things like that that we have to be paying attention to when it comes down to hunger and satiation ... women are much more sensitive to them. It's nothing bad, nothing wrong with them. It's simply a protective mechanism. It's not the fact that the thyroid's shutting down. It's the fact that the female body is recognizing that there's no food coming in, so they don't want to be producing eggs. They don't want to be ovulating. It's natural. Why would a female body want to produce eggs to stimulate potential reproduction if they're not eating, if they're starving? That's where this whole thing starts. It all has to do with leptin, ghrelin, and insulin. But it goes much more than that. We're going to talk about what's happening with the brain and with the gonads now. Let's talk about GNRH. GNRH is a particular thing that is secreted by the hypothalamus in both males and females, and it has to do with what's called the hypothalamic-pituitary gonadal axis. I know lots of guys that are proud of the HPTA, thinking that it only has to do with testosterone and their male bodies. Oh, no. That's not the case. The HPTA axis, that entire process, is men and women. And here's how it works. Your brain has an area called the hypothalamus. This hypothalamus ends up secreting something known as GNRH. This GNRH tells the pituitary gland to produce luteinizing hormone and follicle stimulating hormone. What these hormones end up doing is triggering the production of sperm and testosterone in men and producing ovulation and triggering progesterone and estrogen in women. They both do the same thing, just with a different end result. We still have the same catalyst, the same hormones. Now what ends up happening is how women go through this process compared to men. Now that we know GNRH and we understand the HPTA has to do with men and women, we can talk about the precursor to the GNRH, which is where the problem really starts, and that's something known as kisspeptin. Where the problem occurs with kisspeptin is just with people not knowing what's really going on. Most of the beef in the fasting community and most of the beef with women fasting in general all has to do with kisspeptin. . Aggression, violence, ambition unchecked by conscience—all the stuff of “toxic masculinity,” right? And, the solution is obvious: make men less toxic. Make men less masculine. Make men more like women. But I’m here to tell you that this way of thinking is not only wrong, it’s dangerous. Here’s why: When you try to make men more like women, you don’t get less “toxic masculinity,” you get more. Why? Because bad men don’t become good when they stop being men; they become good when they stop being bad. Aggression, violence, and unbridled ambition can’t be eliminated from the male psyche; they can only be harnessed. And when they are harnessed, they are tools for good, not for harm. The same masculine traits that bring destruction also defeat tyranny. The traits that foster greed also build economies. The traits that drive men to take foolish risks also drive men to take heroic risks. The answer to toxic masculinity isn’t less masculinity; it’s better masculinity. And we know what that looks like. It’s a young man opening the door for a girl on their first date. It’s a father working long hours to provide for his family. It’s a soldier risking his life to defend his country. The growing problem in today’s society isn’t that men are too masculine; it’s that they’re not masculine enough. When men embrace their masculinity in a way that is healthy and productive, they are leaders, warriors and heroes. When they deny their masculinity, they run away from responsibilities, leaving destruction and despair in their wake. The consequences can be seen everywhere. One in four fathers now lives apart from his children. And children who grow up without a dad are generally more depressed than their peers who have a mother and a father. They are at far greater risk for incarceration, teen pregnancy and poverty. Seventy-one percent of high school dropouts are fatherless. “Of all the rocks upon which we build our lives…family is the most important. And we are called to recognize and honor how critical every father is to that foundation.” That was said by then-Senator Barack Obama in 2008. “If we are honest with ourselves,” he went on, “we’ll admit that…too many fathers are…missing from too many lives and too many homes.” As much as we try to deny the need for real, masculine strength in society, there’s no denying its necessity. Healthy families and strong communities depend on the leadership and bravery of good men. Yet, the current trend is to feminize young men in the hopes of achieving some utopian notion of equality and peace. And it starts at the earliest ages. In the school classroom, boys are invariably “the problem.” On the playground, aggressive games like dodgeball have long been banished. We tell young men that their intrinsic desire to compete is wrong. Everybody gets a trophy. Don’t run up the score. This anti-male tilt continues on through higher education and into the workplace. It has created millions of tentative men, unhappy women, and confused boys and girls. For the complete script, visit https://www.prageru.com/videos/make-men-masculine-again

My hope is that women everywhere will be able to face the reality that most walk around empowered and with a false sense of security. Political correctness too often silences the voice of experience and reason, so we can simply not say "hey, women are physically weaker than men, and if attacked, you will not be able to defend yourself like you think you will." "Ban Bossy"- Why 'Feminism' poisons EVERYTHING (Part 2)
'Ban Bossy' has to be one of the mostly poorly thought out campaigns ever. The basic premise is that women lose interest in leadership because they get called bossy when they are children. However if your ambitions of leadership can be destroyed simply by being called bossy, where you ever leadership material in the first place? Secondly, for some reason, they think that women are weaker than men as it being called bossy only destroys the ambitions of women???? If I said something like that, you can imagine the flak I would get! Please watch: "The Courageous Life of Ida B. Wells #OrdinaryWomen" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7Ip-SEYvRTA -~-~~-~~~-~~-~- This video explores how the Damsel in Distress became one of the most widely used gendered clichés in the history of gaming and why the trope has been core to the popularization and development of the medium itself. As a trope the Damsel in Distress is a plot device in which a female character is placed in a perilous situation from which she cannot escape on her own and must then be rescued by a male character, usually providing a core incentive or motivation for the protagonist's quest. The Darwin Correspondence Project is researching Charles Darwin's letters and has so far located more than 15,000 he either sent or received. The full texts of these are being published in The Correspondence of Charles Darwin (20 vols to date, CUP 1985-), and are also going online on the Project's website with 7500 currently available to read for free (www.darwinproject.ac.uk). Around half the original letters are in the Darwin archive in Cambridge University Library where the Project is based, with the rest spread in archives and private collections around the world; more are discovered every year. The research presented here was carried out as part of the "Darwin & Gender" project. www.darwinproject.ac.uk/

Royal Kids - New figures reveal the weaker sex - why men die younger than women
Women live longer than men everywhere in the world – and the difference is particularly stark in high-income countries like Britain, according to data from the World Health Organisation (WHO).WHO has applied a gender lens to its yearly analysis of global health statistics and found that in every region of the world men die younger than women and have fewer years of healthy life expectancy.A baby boy born in Africa in 2016 could expect to live to 60, while a baby girl could expect to live to 63. Healthy life expectancy at birth is 53 for boys and 55 for girls. But in Europe the difference between boys and girls is much greater - a boy born in 2016 could expect to live to the age of 74 and a girl to the age of 81.And healthy life expectancy is 66 years for boys and 71 for girls.Of the 40 leading causes of death, 33 are more common in men. The main causes of death that contribute to a lower life expectancy in men are heart disease, road injuries, lung cancer, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease and stroke.Global suicide mortality rates were 75 per cent higher in men than in women in 2016. Death rates from road injury were more than twice as high in men than in women from age 15, and mortality rates due to homicide were four times higher in men than in women. In lower income countries the smaller difference in life expectancy between men and women is mainly due to higher rates of maternal mortality – in low-income countries one in 41 women dies in pregnancy or childbirth, compared to one in 3,300 in high-income countries.Richard Cibulskis, lead author of the WHO report, said: “Men die from most things more than women and this is true in low and high income countries. But in low income countries women have a greater risk of dying in childbirth so the maternal mortality rates skew the figures.”The reasons for the differences between men and women are three-fold – men have an inbuilt “biological frailty” and poor immune systems which explain why more male foetuses are miscarried and why more boys die in their first year of life. But the main differences are due to environmental factors – men are more likely to engage in risky behaviour such as smoke and drink – and the fact that men go to the doctor less often than women.Story continuesPeter Baker, director of Global Action on Men’s Health, said health services needed to be better designed around men.“You could take the view that men are a bunch of idiots bent on self destruction but that is not true. Most men in the world don’t smoke or drink at dangerously high levels,” he said.He said that gender norms placed on men – that is, they are expected to be self sufficient and tough – meant that they were less likely to seek help.“We all have a responsibility to care for ourselves but you cannot expect people to step out of the way they have been brought up and the social and cultural environment they are in. We need to start thinking about how we respond as a health system,” he said.Mr Baker added that the
