Sliding door system SlideLine M: Easy to install
SlideLine M provides the capability of combining open and closed sections in furniture. The 1-track, close fitting sliding door system functions as a practical design element on living-room wall units, shelf systems, kitchen wall units and bathroom furniture. Just one profile can be used for running two doors fitted one above the other. Optional soft-close Silent System is integrated to leave it hidden out of view and the activation point can be positioned wherever chosen. The Sensys thin door hinge with extremely shallow cup gives furniture makers maximum design flexibility for further options in making a mark of distinction. It permits the use of thin core board panels in a thickness from just 8 mm with a design defining surface application layer, such as glass or concrete. Thin solid front panels made, for example, of solid surface materials are also an option. The look and feel of exclusive materials can now be combined with the purist style of slender lines and narrow reveals. The Sensys thin door hinge impressed the 58 international jury members of the iF Design Award 2016 and has already been nominated for the GERMAN DESIGN AWARD 2017. Customizing plots with python matplotlib
Learn how to make custom plots in Python with matplotlib: https://datacamp.com/courses/intermediate-python-for-data-science Creating a plot is one thing. Making the correct plot, that makes the message very clear, is the real challenge. For each visualization, you have many options. First of all, there are the different plot types. And for each plot, you can do an infinite number of customizations. You can change colors, shapes, labels, axes, and so on. The choice depends on, one, the data, and two, the story you want to tell with this data. Since there are a so many possible customizations, the best way to learn this, is by example. Let's start with the code in this script to build a simple line plot. It's similar to the line plot we've created in the first video, but this time the year and pop lists contain more data, including projections until the year 2100, forecasted by the United Nations. If we run this script, we already get a pretty nice plot: it shows that the population explosion that's going on, will have slowed down by the end of the century. But some things can be improved. First, it should be clearer which data we are displaying, especially to people who are seeing the graph for the first time. And second, the plot really needs to draw the attention to the population explosion. The first thing you always need to do is label your axes. Let's do this by adding the xlabel() and ylabel() functions. As inputs, we pass strings that should be placed alongside the axes. Make sure to call these functions before calling the show() method, otherwise your customizations will not be displayed. If we run the script again, this time the axes are annotated. We're also going to add a title to our plot, with the title function. We pass the actual title, 'World Population Projections', as an argument. And there's the title! So, using xlabel, ylabel and title, we can give the reader more information about the data on the plot: now they can at least tell what the plot is about. To put the population growth in perspective, I want to have the y-axis start from zero. You can do this with the yticks() function. The first input is a list, in this example with the numbers zero up to ten, with intervals of 2. If we run this, the plot will change: the curve shifts up. Now it's clear that already in 1950, there were already about 2.5 billion people on this planet. Next, to make it clear we're talking about billions, we can add a second argument to the yticks function, which is a list with the display names of the ticks. This list should have the same length as the first list. The tick 0 gets the name 0, the tick 2 gets the name 2B, the tick 4 gets the name 4B and so on. By the way, B stands for Billions here. If we run this version of the script, the labels will change accordingly, great. Finally, let's add some more historical data to accentuate the population explosion in the last 60 years. On wikipedia, I found the world population data for the years 1800, 1850 and 1900. I can write them in list form and append them to the pop and year lists with the plus sign. If I now run the script once more, three datapoints are added to the graph, giving a more complete picture. Now that's how you turn an average line plot into a visual that has a clear story to tell! Over to you now. Head over to the exercises, gradually customize the world development chart and become the next Hans Rosling!

How to Change the Content Width of your WordPress Website
LINK TO CODE: https://therevisionist.org/software-engineering/wordpress/increase-page-width/ If you found this video helpful like it and share it with anyone who might find it useful too. I would appreciate it! So in this tutorial I show you how to change the width of your webpage content area using custom css code. The code that I present is specifically for the colorlib WordPress theme, but can easily be customized for your own website theme; feel free to ask me how if you need help. You need to use the @media min-width code so that your website properly resizes depending upon the screen size of the device. Just changing the width of the content area without setting up a min-width will cause your website to resize in an awful way. --- My Gear (づ⌐■ ͜ʖ■)づ ✪ I need to buy this webcam: http://amzn.to/2fWi3b7 ✪ I like this keyboard a lot: https://therevisionist.org/reviews/the-magicforce-68-keys-mini-mechanical-keyboard/ ✪ This is the mic that I use now: http://amzn.to/2gqS6AO ♥ I love My SSD, so fast!: https://therevisionist.org/reviews/pny-cs1311-internal-ssd/ ✪ HDD vs SSD Reliability: https://therevisionist.org/reviews/ssd-vs-hdd-one-reliable/ ✪ SSD vs HDD power consumption: https://therevisionist.org/reviews/ssd-vs-hdd-power-consumption/ Follow me ┴┬┴┤( ͡° ͜ʖ├┬┴┬ ✪ My Subreddit: https://www.reddit.com/r/Bio_Hacking/ ✪ Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100010037778391 ✪ Twitter: https://twitter.com/raqib_zaman ✪ Google+: https://plus.google.com/+RaqibZaman So in this tutorial I will be showing you how to increase the width of the content area of your webpage without breaking your website’s responsiveness. The code that I have left at the bottom of this page specifically works for the Colorlib Sparkling theme, however you can easily adjust it so that it works with your own custom theme. What’s @media? First, let me explain how the code works. First, the selector starts with the @media rule that is used in CSS to define different styles rules for the multitudes of different screen sizes of electronic devices. After that comes the (min-width: 1400px) parameters that assigns the minimum width the size of the screen must be in order for the @media rule to trigger. If the @media rule is triggered, then the declaration body or block comes into affect. The declaration body is the code in between the {} curly brackets. Where do I find the selector for my Website content area? So within the first curly brackets you want to add the selector that represents the content area of your website. For the Sparkling theme, that would be .container . If you have a different WordPress theme, then what you can do is right-click the content area of one of your website’s webpages and select Inspect Element or your browser’s equivalent. Hover your mouse cursor up or down the lines of code until the main content area of your webpage is highlighted; this line of code is usually near the top. Then all you have to do is take the selector from the line of code that corresponds to the highlighted main content area. There are two ways to find the selector. 1. Notice in the image above the line of code that is selected: div class=”container main-content-area”. There are actually two selectors you can take from the class=”…” . They are container and main-content-area . Usually the first selector is what you looking for. 2. Alternatively, look at the rules for the selected line of code. If a selector’s declaration body mentions different pixel widths (in order to responsively change content area size depending on device screen size), then you want to choose that selector. What goes in the declaration body of .container? So within the declaration body of .container or the equivalent selector for your website’s main content area, you want assign a width that is slightly smaller than @media’s min-width paramter For example, if min-width is 1400px, you want to assign .container {width:1300px;} . Finally, .main-content-inner.col-sm-12.col-md-8 refers to the content area, whereas #secondary.widget-area.col-sm-12.col-md-4 refers to the sidebar area. I believe they have something to do with bootstrap, if you want to investigate. Read more here: https://therevisionist.org/software-engineering/wordpress/increase-page-width/

The next morning, he was a swollen and puffy mess from water retention and lack of beard grooming. He looked 20 pounds heavier! This bloat is the inspiration of this video. Tips for More Defined Face and Stronger Jaw 1. Stay hydrated - if you're not properly hydrated, you'll retain water. Your body will flush with the more water you drink. 2. Reduce consumption of sodium 3. Lose body fat - it's noticed in the face quickly 4. Creatively utilize facial hair - full puffy beards don't make you look thinner or more angular. If you have cheek fuzz, taper it. Soul patch and goatees help to elongate and slim it out as well as longer, thinner, and angled sideburns. Designer stubble, short and maintained, is the best way to define your face. 5. Define you boundaries - Alpha demonstrates where to trim. He also discusses the neck beard and how you need separation. He demonstrates with Dr. Carver's Shave Butter (it's translucent, and you can see what you're shaving) and the Executive from the Dollar Shave Club (high quality blades for a few bucks a month). 6. Choose a taller and tighter hair style - big and swooping makes your face look rounder. Facial Exercise to Reduce Chubby Cheeks This exercise strengthens the muscles. First, fill upper lip with hair. Hold for 10 seconds. Blow over to one of your cheeks. Hold tight. After 10 seconds, repeat to other cheek. Do this rotation 10 times. You don't realize how many muscles you have in there until you try this.

How to Change Margins in Word 2016 - Set and Manage
In this HowTech written tutorial, we’re going to show you how to change the margins in Word 2016. Don't forget to check out our main channel https://www.youtube.com/c/HowTech for more free how-to videos! Join us on Facebook http://www.Facebook.com/howtechtv Our App http://bit.ly/how-tech If you have guidelines to follow regarding margin size, want to format the paper for a clipboard or book, or simply want to save paper with wide margins, Word makes it easy to change them. To get started, go to the Layout tab on the Ribbon and click the Margins drop-down. There’s a few default settings, but if you want more control, click Custom Margins… To change the actual margins, simply edit the corresponding value in the Margins section. If you would like to have a book fold gutter, click Book Fold under the Multiple pages drop-down. To specify how large of a gutter, change the Gutter option in the Margins section to a value other than 0”. If you want to print out the document for use on a clipboard, make sure Multiple pages is set to Normal, and then change the Gutter position to Top. As this is the Page Setup pop-up, there are also options to change Paper size for example. Under the final tab of Page Setup, there are options to change the margins of the headers and footers. This is a HowTech tutorial, visit our website and see our videos for more!
Trowel and Error - How to Set Tile the Right Way
How to install tile the right way! Learn NTCA-approved, correct trowel techniques to set large format tile and how to create a stronger bond between the tile and the substrate. Prevent crack transmission, lippage, tile breakage and other costly tile installation repairs. Tile and stone are very durable materials that can and should last a lifetime. When tiles break, more often than not, it’s due to issues with the substrate or the installation method. The way you trowel mortar for setting tile makes a big difference. Porcelain tiles, in particular, can withstand extra heavy service conditions. It takes a lot of impact or point load to cause bond loss when installed correctly over a sound substrate. The mortar under this tile was installed using the correct trowel technique. On the other hand, since tile is a hard and brittle finish or a veneer, unsupported space under the tiles actually creates weak spots. That same Porcelain tile may be easily damaged by the same impact, heavy loads and other causes. Spot bonding with mortar is not recommended to set tile. It may be easier to set tiles flat to each other during the installation, but it’s only a matter of time before just the slightest force causes a failure! The first tile was installed using the NTCA-recommended ANSI Standard - the others were not. Unfortunately, many tiles are being installed incorrectly, especially very large tiles, and this can result in costly breakage! You get the job done more quickly, but you can’t get proper mortar coverage. Air gets trapped with nowhere to go and leaves the tile unsupported. Swirling the mortar causes voids where the tile is not bonded to the substrate. These voids can result in cracked tile and bond failure under normal use but especially under point load or impact. In addition to impact and heavy loading, tiles set without proper mortar coverage are more likely to fail under many conditions! To name a few - substrate deflection; shrinkage or creep; thermal expansion in high temperatures; and freeze/thaw applications. A lack of perimeter and other movement joints affects well bonded tile so imagine when half - or even less - of a tile is adhered. According to the American National Standards Institute and the TCNA Handbook, tile requires a minimum of 80% mortar coverage in interior applications -- 95% for exteriors and wet environments. Natural stone tile requires 95% coverage in all areas. During the manufacturing process of most large tiles, the center tends to dome or warp upward. This warpage requires more mortar to be used and air is even less likely to be removed when the mortar is swirled. Flatter substrates are also required to successfully set large format tiles as they cover a much larger area. According to TCNA and ANSI guidelines, variations in floor flatness should not exceed 1/4” in 10 feet. When working with large format tile, a tile with any side 15 inches or longer, there is even less tolerance. Variation is limited to 1/8” in 10 feet and no more than 1/16” in 24 inches. The key to successful coverage is “Playing It Straight!” - combing the mortar in straight lines. Trowel ridges running in straight lines are much easier to collapse. They assist with air removal to maximize mortar coverage and ensure a strong bond to the tile and substrate. The first is to “key in” a coat of mortar into the substrate with the flat side of the trowel. Then, add more mortar to the substrate and comb the mortar in straight lines, all going in one direction. Combing the trowel ridges in straight lines provides better distribution of the mortar. With rectangular tile, trowel ridges should go across the short direction of the tile. This allows better air release when you bed the tile. Be careful not to leave any voids along chalk lines or between tiles. Use a trowel that will help you achieve continuous minimum 3/32” coverage. Larger tiles most often require deeper trowels. For large format tile, glass tile, natural stone or any tile set on exterior surfaces, “backbuttering” the tile is recommended. Use the flat side of the trowel to get an even coat of mortar and fill all the spaces in the surface. To finish, set the tile firmly, and move it backward and forward across the trowel ridges about 1/8 to ¼ inch. Move the tile only in one direction, perpendicular to the ridges, without moving in the opposite direction or twisting the tile. When you first start setting and then periodically through the installation, remove a tile and check for coverage. Ridges should be collapsed, and you don’t want the tile or the substrate to be missing mortar. Straight trowel ridges collapse with back and forth motion to eliminate voids. You will get a much stronger bond with complete mortar coverage. And remember - the larger the trowel, the more back and forth movement is needed. “Play it Straight!” and always use the NTCA-recommended tile setting method!

Step 2 - Cut Bottom Plate to Size Lay out the fabric for your cushion bottom. Set the foam on top of it and trace around the perimeter. Then draw a line 1/4” in from your traced line. Cut out your plate along the inner line. Step 3 - Sew Zipper to Bottom Plate Cut your zipper to the length of cushion plus a few inches. Install the zipper slider. Then, baste the zipper in place across the center of the underside of the bottom plate with the zipper facing down. Sew the zipper in place. Step 4 -Cut Top Plate to Size On the wrong side of your top, decorative fabric, trace around the perimeter of your foam. Strike a line using the thickness of the foam minus 1/4” as the distance out from the traced line. This outer line will be your cut line. Step 5 - Creating Facing from Top Plate Extend the inner line on your fabric out past the cut line. This will form a square at each corner. Cut out your fabric along the cut line and then cut out the traced square at each corner. Flip the fabric over right-side up and baste the corners together. Sew the corners together using a 3/8” seam allowance. Step 6 - Sew the Plates Together Use basting tape to baste together the bottom and the top plates with the right sides facing in. Be sure to use match up marks to line up the center of each side on both plates. Sew the plates together using a 3/8” seam allowance. Step 7 - Insert Foam in Cushion Cover Open the zipper and turn the cover right side out. Insert the foam. Be sure to work the foam into the corners and edges so everything looks nice. How to Vertically Align Text next to an Image
Align those images and text! Perfectly align them next to each other using CSS magical magic :) Project Resources: http://www.mediafire.com/download/raktf1cxje34p17/How_to_vertically_align_text_next_to_an_image.7z Tools: Brackets, FREE code editor http://brackets.io/ Emmet, super speed coding addon http://emmet.io/ Beautify, turning your ugly code into beautiful script https://github.com/brackets-beautify/brackets-beautify Transcription: Hi guys, today we will vertically align text next to an image. So let's do it! First of all, let's import our image. I prepare some image in the description you have project files are in the description, so you can download it. It's a pretty big image but don't worry, it's a just a motherboard. Okay, just let's style these image a bit. We styled this image just say that are image size height. Height to be 100 pixels we just shrink our image, okay? And just added the span element. Span element ,and say this is a text. Okay, as you can see, this is the text is a bit down here and we want to be in the middle. Just and vertically align middle. Ta-da. This is it, guys. Don't go, there are few gems about this, as you can see, this is in in the middle and as you can see these blue is our in-line element. But, for example, what if we want to add our p tag? This is a problem, the problem is here. This p is below the image so if you want to add this p next to our image we just have to do these: Our p tag needs some modification, okay? We add display-inline. And this is it, as you can see if we select this tag. Our p tag acts like an inline element, just like our span element, and because the p tag is the block element, if we remove this, it will go down there. OK, just remove this, but if you say inline-block, it will also be up, but act as a block element as you can see, I can now select only the text. And if I selected this, it's a different, remember : this one here, the big one is inline and this one is a block element. It's a huge difference, and in my tutorial tutorials you can learn what is the difference between inline and block elements, so don't be scared and visit me there, and that's it guys and have a nice day, I hope this, I hope this help you, and bye-bye.
