PHP Tutorial Parse Multiple Select HTML Form Fields - DevelopPHP dot com
Lesson Code: http://www.developphp.com/video/PHP/Multiple-Select-HTML-Form-Fields-PHP-Parse-Tutorial Adam teaches how to use PHP to parse multiple selection form fields in your HTML or HTML5 forms. The resulting variable is an array if you instruct the select field to handle multiple options. We have to break this array down to split the selections for our data processing needs, or you can choose to save the serialized complete array into one MySQL database field.

CAM Editor Open-XDX demonstration: SQL to XML file
This video is a quick technology demonstration of creating a working Open Data API using the CAM Editor and Open XDX software tools along with Oracle WebLogic web services. Illustrates creating XML file output from SQL tables and then sharing that via web services API. Also shows creating Query/Response mechanism using Java. It is the "Part 2" of the full Introduction video - just jumps straight to the technology demonstration - as we know the technically inclined are impatient and want to see code. We take a sample MySQL database and mock patient prescriptions data and quickly build a working NIEM XML query/response web service. We show how this is done using code-free methods and XML templates to configure the information exchange components. For working code samples, latest downloads and more information please visit the open source project web sites: http://www.verifyxml.org/ and http://www.cameditor.org/#Open_Data_APIs_and_Open-XDX For the article in ODTUG on Open-XDX, SQL to XML please see: http://goo.gl/q74Zk

Video production services: http://alconost.com/en/video Производство видеороликов: http://alconost.com/video EasyQuery is a convenient, multifunctional query builder for your dot NET and Delphi applications. When you're developing database applications, it's impossible to predict all of the types of queries that users will need. That means that users will always be asking you to add yet another type of query. There's a solution! Let your users build custom queries themselves, without any assistance from your support team. Use EasyQuery, query builder components which allow integrating a user-friendly interface for ad-hoc reporting directly into your applications or websites. Let's calculate the value of deliveries of all sale items OR items sold at a discount that were shipped before the beginning of this year to customers in the U.S., Canada and Mexico.Let's take a closer look, using an online application built with EasyQuery as an example. As you see, EasyQuery allows users to describe their requests in natural language instead of complicated SQL statements. EasyQuery includes developer components for ASP dot net, WinForms, Delphi and Silverlight, and can work with diverse databases. EasyQuery reduces the time and cost of development, increases customer satisfaction, and adds extended reporting functionality to your app. EasyQuery easily integrates with your existing code, has a reasonable pricing policy, and is used by a large community of developers. Visit our site to learn more about EasyQuery, try a demo page, and download a trial version.

Lenses, Folds, and Traversals
Slides: http://comonad.com/haskell/Lenses-Folds-and-Traversals-NYC.pdf This was a talk I gave at the second New York Haskell User Group Meeting (http://www.meetup.com/NY-Haskell/) on the new lens library, which provides a highly composable toolbox for accessing and modifying multiple parts of data structures. Starting with building blocks such as fmap and (.), we build up combinators suitable for working with a wide array of data structures. These generalize the notions you already know how to use into a form that is easier to compose and simultaneously allow them to be used for monomorphic containers such as Data.Text. All without compromising on your ability to reason about them using laws! Finally, once I've built up some foundations, I do a bit of a deep dive, exploring consequences of this design. In particular we discuss the efficient generic programming programming framework exported by lens, and type-safe Traversal-based zippers. Familiarity with the Applicative and Traversable classes from the Haskell base libraries will be helpful (links provided below), but a basic understanding of the concepts get introduced as I go along. Useful (but not mandatory) references: The lens library and documentation: http://hackage.haskell.org/package/lens A previous, more introductory talk on how to use the lenses Edward Kmett wrote for the scalaz in the Scala programming language: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=efv0SQNde5Q The original Applicative paper: http://www.soi.city.ac.uk/~ross/papers/Applicative.pdf Lots of information on Traversable: http://www.cs.ox.ac.uk/jeremy.gibbons/publications/iterator.pdf A write-up of this talk, as presented at the Bay Area Haskell Users Group: http://google-opensource.blogspot.com/2012/10/lenses-folds-and-traversals-haskell.html The original Keynote version of the slides are available from http://comonad.com/haskell/Lenses-Folds-and-Traversals-NYC.key Thanks go to Johan Kiviniemi, who worked magic when it came to cleaning up the audio for this recording!

Try it for free: http://onewebsql.com/download You can use OneWebSQL with; "Sybase PowerDesigner", "CA ERwin" and "Oracle SQL Developer Data Modeler". OneWebSQL (http://OneWebSQL.com) is an O/R mapping for Java and your one-stop shop for Java database applications. It's a code generation engine that takes an SQL database model as input and automatically outputs your Java infrastructure - DAOs, DTOs, and more - saving hours of repetitive coding. It serves as a transparent access layer between Java and SQL. And it makes updates a snap with explicit error-catching.

XML/SQL Exchange - NIEM IEPD Training: ULEXS getDataItem vehicle license worked example
See how to build a working XML query/response system with SQL database accessing using NIEM ULEXS schema and dictionary. Using the CAM toolkit we demonstrate quickly building everything needed. Taking the existing ULEX-SR schema, first ingest it then clean it up by removing unnecessary parts. Next adapt it by adding vehicle search results details from LEXS v4.0 dictionary components via drag and drop visual design. Validate the structure components for consistency with the NIEM NDR and build and view your data models, then export your XSD schema and JAXB bindings. Then switch to the SQL viewer and pick and map your SQL table components into the vehicle search results XML structure. Save and run live with SQL data to verify desired results output. Next add a parameter filter to select only the requested data record based on license ID number. Then validate the XML content using the CAMV engine. Document your completed XML exchange, and package the NIEM IEPD artifacts. Congratulations, with a few more steps you can integrate the solution into your messaging middleware and complete the application web services. Credits: Recorded on Ubuntu using Kazam and OpenShot. PHP UK Conference 2012 - Big Data web/science... by James Littlejohn
http://www.phpconference.co.uk/talk/data-web-data-science-data-mining Big Data web - Big Data science - Big Data mining The role of data science is becoming more prominent as the big data web emerges. This talk introduces the role of the data scientist and how data mining techniques are being applied, some using PHP. We are not talking application data but about creating new "... value from the data itself, ... it's a data product." to quote the, O'Reilly Radar Report: What is Data Science? Data touches everything. Understanding it all is the biggest problem out there to solve. Data crosses all industries, all parts of a business and all that makes up life. The future web is about finding answers, discoveries, stitching together sources, busting data silos to release the next level of collective wisdom for society. This talk will set the scene of the big data web, share Data Scientist case studies and take a hands on look at text data mining code. I'm James Littlejohn, the lead developer on the LifestyleLinking.net open source project. This involves combining ideas, curiosity and plain hard slog in aggregating data so that it may reveal its collective intelligence. I've also learnt to write PHP code over the last 4 years while experimenting with data mining techniques. Before that, my entrepreneurial activities have including starting a web software company in Edinburgh during the .com era and a local food e-commerce and home delivery service in Aberdeen, Scotland. I spent a few years in Mountain View, CA during the early web2.0 years where I began my conversion to become a software data engineer.

Phone - 0431-4021936 Mobile- 88832-06852,99427-79461 Web sites may be static sites, programs, or databases, and very often a combination of the three integrating relational databases as a back-end. Web sites require care in configuration and programming to assure security, confidentiality, and trustworthiness of the published information. SQL-injection attacks exploit weak validation of textual input used to build database queries. Maliciously crafted input may threaten the confidentiality and the security policies of Web sites relying on a database to store and retrieve information. This paper presents an original approach that combines static analysis, dynamic analysis, and code re-engineering to automatically protect applications written in ASP from SQL-injection attacks. The paper also reports preliminary results of experiments performed on an old SQL-injection prone version of ASPBB. Results show that our approach successfully improved ASPBB-2.0.0 resistance to SQL-injection attacks.
