Gibson Guitars For Sale - L6-S Maple Body Harmonica Bridge Original Case (515) 864-61361973 Blonde

05:29
Today, Lawman Guitars is Presenting... A Beautiful 1973 Gibson L6-S Solid Maple Guitar with original Gibson Hardshell Case... All original but the tuners. I believe they were replaced with Vintage Correct Grovers back in the day... We checked this one out and its all set to go for its new owner. Sounds amazing with these special Gibson Pickups. These guitars were played by Keith Richards and Carlos Santana when they came out in the 1970's. Carlos Santana was featured on many of the ads for this guitar. He loved his. Lots of wear on the frets so Jeff the Tech did a complete file and re-crowning of all the frets. They are beautiful and it plays great with low action. I love the 6 way tone switch. Lots of variety of sounds with this feature. Works properly and it moves smoothly thru the settings. This cool Gibson was owned by a Pro Player here in Des Moines and well kept. It has small dings and scratches to be expected in a 1973 guitar but no unusual dings. Only superficial cosmetic things. The guitar plays great with easy playing low action. The original frets have a lot of life left in them. The neck angle is great and it plays fantastic. The sound of these Gibson Pickups is really nice. Sold as-is as its used and vintage, however, I have been handpicking vintage guitars for my customers for over 15 years now and they have all loved them. This one will not be an exception. Thanks for checking out my cool vintage guitars! Gibson Les Paul Guitar - 1977 USA Deluxe Mini Humbuckers Original Case 515-864-6136

07:34
Today Lawman Guitars Has a Les Paul for you... A really cool RARE Red Wine 1977 USA Gibson Les Paul Deluxe with the original Hardshell Gibson Case. This guitar was purchased from a Pro Player friend that took really good care of it...Only minor dings and scratches. Some button scratches on the back. The Pickups sound awesome and the action is nice and low...plenty of room to set it up with your preferences.. This guitar is in beautiful shape and has all original or Gibson correct parts except the tuners.. We all replaced the original tuners with Grovers back in the day..this one is no exception. The vintage Grovers look and work great on this guitar. The Gibson Mini Humbuckers sound amazing. When I got the guitar, it had a vintage correct Seymour Duncan in the Bridge position. Fortunately, I had a 1979 Gibson mini humcucker here in the shop so we got the correct pickup in it. The original frets have plenty of life in them. This guitar had been played …a lot…it has some finger divots in the top 5 frets but they don’t affect play at all. See pic 5… Just shows how awesome this guitar was to its original owner. He played it a ton!! Even the Pickguard is included with this one..There is a ding under the guard from the pickguard screw. They all have that. Keep the pickguard on and you will not see it… Heres some info on these really cool Les Paul Deluxe Guitars I found on the internet.. Gibson Les Paul Deluxe ( 1969-1985 ) The gibson les paul deluxe electric guitar was originally released in 1969 , it was a renamed guitar and originated from the gibson les paul standard, ( goldtop model ) . The main feature of the gibson les paul deluxe was its mini humbuckers . The humbuckers produced a nice tight crunch and the result pleased many guitar players including Pete Townshend who used them in several concerts . The guitar appeared on the gibson price list in 1969 for $425 and was fairly successful . In 1969 the gibson lp deluxe featured 2 mini humbuckers ,maple top , mahogany body , a goldtop finish , pantograph logo and a 3 piece neck . During the mid 1970’s, regular sized humbuckers were optional and few were also produced with P-90 pickups. From 1970 to 1985 features basically stayed the same accept for minor detail changes and were produced in various beautiful colors such as cherry red sunburst , red wine , goldtop , blue sparkle in 1974,76 and 77 , red sparkle in 1975 .. 06:41
Lawman Guitars has a gem today! All Original! A 1960's H39 Harmony Hollywood Arch-top Electric Guitar with a newer Soft shell Case. This cool guitar has been around. Look at the wear on the back of the neck. You don't get that sitting under a bed. Much loved and played! It has the awesome sounding De Armond Gold-foil Pickup, original knobs and electronics, tuners, tailpiece and even the pick guard. Its all there and works great. As you can see, this is not the pristine one for collectors. This Rockin Axe is made to be played. I couldn't believe the sound from the DeArmond. Fat, Full and in your Face... Bright! Strong! This is a Rock-a-billy Guitarist dream. Repaired cracks on the back. The neck has been reset. What is original on this guitar? EVERYTHING! The neck heel has had a chunk broken off, but let me tell you, the neck angle on this guitar is awesome. No sore fingers playing this one. This guitar just oozes cool! Big full arch-top guitar. Even I could play this guitar all night. Low awesome action on this guitar. I sell a ton of Harmony guitars with these pickups. My customers love them as do I. The guitar ships in the non-original but perfect fitting case shown in the video. It is very clean and the interior is excellent. I have been picking guitars for my customers for over 15 years now and they are all very happy. This one will not be an exception. Thanks for watching this video. http://lawmanguitars.com/products/1961-silvertone-jupiter-with-blender-switch-and-original-softshell-plush-case/ - Used Electric Guitars | 515-864-6136 At Lawman Guitars we specialize in buying and selling vintage and rare guitars. Call us at 515-864-6136. 1965 Gibson ES125TDC Thinline Electric Guitar with Original Case 1961 Silvertone Jupiter with Blender Switch and original Softshell Plush Case Today we are offering an almost mint 1961 Silvertone Black with gold Sparkle finish Jupiter Guitar complete with the original Silvertone Red Plush lined Deluxe Case. I say almost mint because there must be a ding or scratch somewhere on it. I just haven't found it yet. This guitar is spectacular. I have sold at least 50 of these in my Ebay Store, (check my Ebay Store Lawman Guitars), but have never had one that is so clean. I appears to be almost unplayed. There is no fret wear and the case is almost as clean as the guitar. Check those pics. This guitar has the much desired DeArmond Silverfoil pickups. They sound great and clear. It also features the much sought after blender switch. I have had many studio musicians ask me to find them one of these guitars specifically for that option. It is great! In the blender setting, you can custom blend the amount of volume of the bridge and neck pickup to give you an almost infinite variety of sounds. Very advanced for a guitar of this vintage. I wish they still had it today. Jeff the Tech set this one up great as usual. Low playing easy action that is a pleasure. No sore fingers with this one. The guitar has the original Waverly open back tuners and the hard to find Hexagon Tuner Grommets. This is a great guitar combo with the original case. You will not find one cleaner than this. Grab it while you still can. I am listing it here instead of my Ebay store because it's that much nicer than my standard Jupiters. You will not be disappointed in this guitar. Conrads and Blackstones are the Cadillacs of the Made in Japan Teiscos...very high quality parts and finishes.....the guitar is in great shape but still has dings and scratches..this one is in great shape! Heres some info I found regarding Baritone Guitars on the web... Baritone Guitar The baritone guitar is a variation on the standard guitar with a longer scale length that allows it to be tuned to a lower range. It first appeared in the classical music realm. The Danelectro Company was the first to introduce the electric baritone guitar in the late 1950s, and the instrument began to appear in surf music as well as background music for many movie soundtracks, especially spaghetti westerns. In more recent history, the baritone guitar has found use within styles like rock, metal and improvised music. Some Baritone guitars may also have the capacity to be used as a bass guitar if strung correctly. A standard guitar's standard tuning (from lowest string to highest) is E A D G B E. Baritone guitars are usually tuned a perfect fifth lower (A D G C E A), a perfect fourth lower (B E A D F♯ B), or a major third lower (C F B♭ E♭ G C). Gretsch, Fender, Gibson (EB-6), PRS Guitars, Music Man, Danelectro, Jerry Jones, Burns London and many other companies have produced baritone guitars since the 1960s, although always in small numbers due to low popularity. Baritone guitars have larger bodies than standard guitars, especially in the case of acoustic instruments, and have longer scale lengths which allow the strings to be tuned lower while remaining close to or at normal tension. On a standard, steel-string, acoustic guitar, the scale length (the distance from the nut or string guide to the saddle on the bridge) is typically 24.9" to 25.7", and the strings range in diameter from .012" to .054". The scale lengths of various baritone designs range from 27" to 30.5", and the string gauges range from the normal .012 - .054" set to sets as thick as .017 - .095". Shorter-scale baritone guitars are more like long-scale guitars, having more midrange volume, whereas the longer scale lengths and heavier string sets give more bass to the instrument's timbre. Shorter scale baritones tend to be tuned C-C or B-B whereas longer ones are typically tuned A-A. "Tic-tac bass" is a method of playing, in which a muted baritone guitar doubles the part played by the bass guitar, or double bass. This method is commonly used in country music.

Greco Guitar Les Paul Pre-lawsuit Recording Guitar PE-520 Original Case and Key 1972 - 515-864-6136

08:32
Today, Lawman Guitars is Presenting... I found an awesome 1972 Pre Lawsuit Greco Les Paul Recording Guitar with the super hot Greco Pickups......It has tons of player vibe, looks, and sound ... The guitar is Pro Setup and plays just great. When I got it, the frets were shot. This guitar had been played…A LOT! No abuse however, just honest, I love this guitar's Player wear. I had the frets Professionally replaced as they needed it. All the electronics have been gone over and everything is working on this cool guitar. It has an initialed Truss Rod Cover, and one cap is missing from the back of one of the original Tuners. See pics.. These cool Guitars, Made in Japan, were modeled after the cool Gibson Les Paul Recording Guitars. It looks amazingly like them. From the Slanted Pickups and end of the fret board, to include the Out of Phase Switch, this guitar is as close to the Gibson as they could get. They were only made in 1972 and 1973. I cannot verify it, but the original owner told me this was a first year 1972. Its that or one year newer. This guitar is all original except the aforementioned frets and truss rod cover. The guitar is in great shape as is the pick guard and tuners.. All the knobs, tailpiece, Bridge, Tailpiece, strap buttons..you name it...all original and in great shape. Only superficial dings here and there. This guitar is in fabulous shape! The controls take some getting used to. It has an out of Phase switch that allows in Phase or out of Phase. I believe it works in the middle position. It has a 3 way pickup selector switch, tone knobs with 3 settings and another tone knob that works in a couple of the selector settings. A lot of options for tonal settings on this cool guitar. AND, they all work properly! I even have the original Hard shell Case. Its as nice as the guitar. Beautiful Gold Plush interior and even the accessory box and Case Key still in the case! Check those pics.. There is nothing that detracts from the big booming sound of this cool guitar...It has super super low action and it sounds HUGE....If you have never heard these Pickups...you are in for a treat...They sound great!!.. It looks good, sounds good, and plays good... it will all be pro-packed by yours truly...I do this a lot and have not had one complaint. It has a few nicks and scratches as seen in the pics but it is a solid 9 out of 10 Guitar.. But on a cool scale...its an 12 !!!!!! 1946 Harmony USA Stella ¾ Size Parlor Guitar with original Case Today I am presenting one of the most rare Stellas I have seen. I have probably sold over 100 Stellas in my 10 years with my Ebay Store, Lawman Guitars. Every once in awhile, I get one that's really special. This is one of the very earliest ones I have seen. I was fortunate to get a date inside the sound hole of F-46 which properly dates this old timer to 1946. It has the original old school Stella stenciled logo on the headstock as well as the vintage correct open back Wavery Tuners. This one has the very early wood tailpiece, the later ones used metal. The finish is still wonderful and it has many dings and scratches which speaks to its use over the years. Check out the player wear on the top 3 frets. This one didn't spend time under the bed. It was played. I had Jeff the Tech set this one up with easy playing low action. It's a pleasure to play. No sore fingers. The bridge is offset to aid in the intonation of this guitar. There were probably some frustrated guitar players over the years trying to get this one to tune properly. They were straight across from the factory which would not have worked with this one. I also have the original softshell case which is also in great shape. A historical piece that plays as well as it looks. Some Stella collector is going to be real happy they found this one. Grab it while you still can. Bass Guitar - 1978 Gibson Bass - 515.864.6136 - Gibson Guitar

06:41
Today, Lawman Guitars is Presenting... A Very Rare 1978 Gibson RD Artist Bass with the Moog Active Circuit, and original Gibson Hardshell Case. What a cool Bass Guitar. Its the second I have found and these are fantastic Gibson Basses. I always hold my breath when buying one of these because the Active Moog Circuit is usually not working. Jeff the Tech has become expert in working with all the switches and things to make these work. Everything works great and its setup with low easy playing action! The Moog Circuit adds a boost circuit and what I think is a compressed circuit. The tone knobs have two different settings on them and are marked 1-5 and 1-5 on each knob. The other switch at the bass of the guitar activates the pickups which have separate volume and tone controls. I love playing these. The guitar has so many different voices. It is quite heavy so be ready for that. With the 34 I/2 inch scale neck, it will take someone with longer arms than mine to appreciate this really cool bass. It weighs 11 lbs 8 ozs so be prepared ... All original with only a couple screws replaced and one corner of the 9 volt battery compartment lid is missing. See pics. The case has been around but its all there. The latches work but have lost their spring. All hinges work and the handle is still with it. The Cool Blue interior is very nice. See pics. This bass looks to me to have been professionally played. Check out the wear on the back of the neck. It has some back rash by the back plate but the frets are in great shape. I think the previous owner kept them well crowned. Lots of finish crazing on the lovely Blond original finish. It has mellowed to that great butterscotch Gibson look that we all love. Here is some info on the history of these cool basses I found on the web... The Gibson RD series solid body electric guitars were launched in 1977. Distinguished by its active electronics (RD is the abbreviation for "research and development", they were designed to appeal to those interested in synthesizers as well as guitars. History The RD series (guitar and bass) was the result of Gibson's desire to tap into the developing synthesizer market, which was thought to take customers away from guitars. The series had a longer scale (25½" as opposed to the more usual 24¾"; the bass guitar in the series had a 34½" scale), a maple body shaped somewhat like Gibson's Firebird and Explorer, and state-of-the-art pre-amplified (active) electronics. At the time Gibson was owned by Norlin, which also owned Moog Music. The active electronics were designed by Bob Moog, shortly before he left his own company, and included a compression and expansion circuit. Five models were made: the Standard and Standard Bass lacked the active electronics available on the Artist, Custom Artist, and Artist Bass.

www.lawmanguitars.com Check out this awesome 1972 Gibson Les Paul Recording Guitar with the original Gibson Hard shell Case…the case even has the key with it..Whoa!! This incredible guitar has tons of player vibe, looks, and sound ...the guitar is Pro Setup and plays just great. The frets are freshly polished and crowned… It plays great with whisper low action… All the electronics have been gone over and everything is working on this cool guitar. Check those pics.. The serial number date starting with 1 dates this guitar from 1970 to 1975. I was told this one is a 1972…I cannot find any other information to conclude that date, however the earliest dates for the “Harmonica” Gibson bridge is 1972 so I am saying this guitar is dating from 1972 to as late as 1975. Here's some cool information about the Gibson Les Paul Recording Guitar… The Les Paul Recording guitar was a replacement for the Les Paul Personal and Les Paul Professional that launched in 1971. All three Les Paul's were designed to incorporate innovative electronic features, and included by two oblong plastic-covered pickups and a more rounded cutaway horn. In addition to the phase control found on the Professional and Personal, the Recording added a high/low impedance selector with an internal transistor and did away with the XLR output jack. This guitar carries the distinction of being the Les Paul of choice of Les Paul himself. Years of Production: 1971 - 1980 Body Style: Single cutaway solid body Wood Composition: Mahogany body, Rosewood fingerboard Design Elements: Two oblong low-impedance pickups, trapezoid inlays, four control knobs, phase switch, tone selector switch, high/low impedance selector, bound fingerboard, stopbar tailpiece and Tune-o-matic bridge Finish Specifications: Walnut was the standard finish on the Les Paul Recording. Notable Players: Les Paul This guitar is all original including the case and case key!... I really like these USA made Ovation guitars. Very high quality. This guitar is in incredible shape. I would almost call it new old stock. No pick scratches, dings whatsoever on this guitar. Check the pic of the frets…I don’t think this guitar was ever played. Probably purchased and put under the bed and forgotten. What a time capsule. It has a 01 6 digit serial number that makes it a 1972 or 1973. Definitely one of the early one of these guitars. What a find! Here is some really good info from our friends on Reverb.com Ovation guitars were developed by aeronautical engineer Charles Kaman starting in the mid-'60s. Ovation were the first production guitars to use fiberglass backs, and brought a number of innovative features never before used on acoustic guitars. The 1111 or Balladeer series was a mainstay of the Ovation line-up through the 70s and 80s, and has been released in a number of variations. Years of Production: 1968 - 1983, 1993 - 2000 Notable Ovation Players: Glen Campbell, Melissa Etheridge, Cat Stevens The case is as amazing as the guitar. The interior looks almost new. Includes the key and all latches, hinges and original handle are here and correct. What a case! Heritage Guitar - Brand New H-150 Les Paul Seymour Duncan Pickups w/Hard Case - 515-864-6136

08:29
What I have for you today is .... A Brand New, fresh out of the factory Box, 2016 Heritage H150 Les Paul Guitar with the original Heritage Les Paul Hard shell Case. I do this from time to time. I pick out the best guitars and purchase them new from the dealer to sell to my customers. They are all hand picked by me and my customers love them. Check my Feed backs on Reverb. This guitar was received by the Dealer the day I walked in. It had just been taken out of the box and I was the first to tune it and check it out. It felt perfect in my hands. These Heritage guitars and made like the old Gibson's were made. They should be, they are made in the same Kalamazoo MI Factory that Gibson started, by the same craftsmen that stayed behind when Gibson left Michigan, by the same guitar making equipment that had made centuries of Gibson guitars. Great products and hand crafting that is missing from so many Computer generated guitars that are made today. Except for Gibson Custom Shop guitars, Gibson is using computer generated made guitars as well. Heritage Guitars is still doing the old fashioned way…by hand…I can feel the difference in my hands and hear the difference in my ears. I love these guitars! Here are some specs on this one: H-150 Solid Body Body Solid mahogany body Carved curly maple top Body Size 13” width 17 1⁄4” length 2” rim thickness Neck 17° peghead pitch Solid mahogany Binding Single cream binding around body top and neck Fingerboard 24-3⁄4” scale, 22-fret rosewood fingerboard with mother-of-pearl trapezoid inlays 12" radius Electronics Two Seymour Duncan humbucking nickel pickups Two volume and two tone controls One toggle switch for pickup selection Hardware Nickel Tone-Pro bridge and stop bar tailpiece Nickel hardware Amber bell knobs Accents Cream plastic pick guard Weight relieved model available Shown in vintage sunburst This guitar is just awesome. Gibson SG Guitar - Original 2 Aged Cherry Maestro Lyre Vibrola Gibson Deluxe w/Case - 515-864-6136

07:43
Today, Lawman Guitars is Presenting... A really cool 2014 Gibson SG Original 2 WITH the cool Gibson Meastro Vibrola feature. Come on! This guitar is way too cool. In the awesome Aged Cherry Nitro Fininsh is looks as cool as it sounds. It comes with the original Deluxe Hardshell Gibson Case with the awesome White interior. These guitars are highly sought after. They are not availiable any longer. They have a wider nut at 1 11/16ths that the slide players love and the Maestro Vibrola works great. Gibson Classic 57’ Pickups sound great and the all Mahogany Neck and Body are awesome. This guitar is Pro Setup with new strings and ready to ROCK!! I just got it in on trade and its going to go fast. These 61 Gibson Neck Profiles are the ones you want! Heres some info I found on the net regarding these cool guitars! Gibson SG Original Solidbody Electric Guitar at a Glance: • '57 Classic humbuckers deliver spot-on PAF tone • You just can't beat the feel of this slim SG neck • Nitrocellulose finish for yummy vintage looks and feel '57 Classic humbuckers deliver spot-on PAF tone The pickups that Gibson spec'd for the SG Original are as true to the sound of the original 1961 model as it gets. That's because Gibson engineered their '57 Classic humbuckers to capture the warmth, smooth playing dynamics, and overall character of their breakthrough PAFs. When you think of the slightly rude sound of classic rock, you're already imagining the fat, snarling tone you'll hear when you play your SG Standard through a tube amp cranked to 11. You just can't beat the feel of this slim SG neck The SG Original gives you the smooth feel and fast action of Gibson's SG slim-profile neck - Early Les Pauls had huge necks, but by 1960 the neck underwent several modifications, eventually becoming the standard slim-profile carve. And when you add to that the ultra-smooth feel of its bound rosewood fingerboard, you get the best of both comfort and performance from the Gibson SG Original. Nitrocellulose finish for yummy vintage looks and feel The Gibson SG Original wears a gorgeous nitrocellulose lacquer finish. Nitro finishes - standard back in the day - are significantly thinner than today's polyurethane finishes, allowing the guitar to "breathe." Nitro finishes not only look vintage-y wonderful; they also enhance the instrument's tonal qualities. Add to that this guitar's classy period-correct lyre vibrato tailpiece, and your Gibson SG Original has the look and feel of a classic solidbody electric guitar. And so it is. Gibson SG Original Solidbody Electric Guitar Features: • Streamlined, lightweight mahogany body is ultra-comfortable during long gigs • Mahogany SG slim-profile neck lets you work up serious playing speed • Bound rosewood fingerboard with Trapezoid inlays looks incredible and feels great under your fingers • Chrome Tune-o-matic bridge, Maestro lyre vibrato tailpiece; vintage-style tuners • Two '57 Classic humbuckers deliver an arsenal of tone • Nitrocellulose lacquer finish • Hardshell case included • Made in Nashville, TN TO PURCHASE OR SEE PICS CLICK HERE: This one is SOLD! This one sounds, looks and plays great. It has been played and it looks it...Check out the Pick where around the bridge...that's a lot of strumming...there are finger divots in the cowboy chord area and I had Jeff the Tech replace the top 6 frets. They needed it and now she is ready to work for another 50 years! These were made in Japan and of course were made to compete with the Gibson Hummingbirds...check out the original Pickguard. These are always either missing, broken or raised up at the edges..None of those maladies on this one..the Pickguard graphics are nice and bright and it looks great ..see pics..... These are really high quality guitars. It has a Spruce Top, Rosewood Fingerboard, Rosewood Back and Sides and is even X braced. Used Guitar - 1957 Aldens by Harmony H44 Stratotone DeArmond Pickup

12:06
http://www.lawmanguitars.com/product/1957-aldens-harmony-h44-stratotone-dearmond-pickup-pro-setup-original-case/ Today Lawman Guitars is Presenting… An incredible find… A beautiful 1957 Aldens, Made by Harmony H44 Stratotone Guitar with the original soft shell Case. This guitar is in incredible shape and is all original except for the bridge. Most of these old timers are missing the original bridges so I had our Craftsmen make reproduction bridges just like the originals. If I didn’t tell you it was a reproduction, I’m sure you would have never known. They did a great job and I sell them thru my store to very happy customers. We dated this beauty to 1957 from the original pots.. Date codes are 134712 (Centralab manufactured 22nd week of 1957). They did not provide any serial numbers to help with identifying dates of these cool guitars. Happy it still has the original pots..see pics 5 and 6. This cool guitar sports the great looking Gold Finish unlike the same Harmony Models which were in the Copper finish. Exactly a like except for the headstock Logo. Aldens used this Logo for theirs. I have seen some of these gold models and even the copper ones turn green over time. The finish will react with the oils from our hands and arms. You can see this one has turned green on the back of the neck where the hand was for most of the playing..in the cowboy chord area… Happy to see how beautiful the gold still is on this one…Another area that is always missing is the input jack plate. Even the original input jack plate is still with this one..see pic 7… All original from there to include the awesome sounding DeArmond Hersey Bar Single coil pickup, original Wavery tuners, Harmony Cup Cake knobs, Pickguard, Tailpiece, end pin and even the Tuner Grommets. These guitar have awesome baseball bat rounded necks that are big, but feel incredible in the hand. I have small hands but love playing this guitar. The nut measures 1 3/4 inches and is also original. The Pickup sounds incredible. Very dark and bluesy…. Slide players love these but these guitars handle all styles. Richie Valens played on just like it when he was still around in the 1950’s! Don’t forget the awesome original Harmony Soft Shell Case. You never find these with the guitar. I was thrilled that the second owner of this guitar still had the case. All latches, hinges and original handle are still with it as well as the accessory box.. We are so lucky to have the original case with this guitar. Just as nice as the guitar. What a great guitar combo to have! Sold as-is no returns as its vintage and used…however, I have been hand picking my customers instruments for over 18 years now and they have all loved the guitars I found them. This incredibly used Aldens H44 will certainly not be an exception. Thanks for checking out our cool guitar. Mike at Lawman Guitars

It's a Blond Beauty. The Single Coil Guild Pickups sound fantastic and it plays as good as any guitar in the Shop. We didn't have to do much to it but I had Jeff the Tech check it out. He pronounced it ready to gig so here you go. The action is as good as they get. Awesome easy playing low action that will not give you sore fingers ever. It's all original including the Guild Pickguard which are always missing. It was played in its life. This is not a Closet Classic. The frets have wear, but unless you gig this guitar daily, you will probably never have to replace them. Not bad for a guitar that's almost 50 years old. The set neck has a great angle. No reset needed on this one. You can see it has had plenty of wear on the back of the neck. It also has some buckle rash on the back. It was Pro Played at one time. I also have the awesome Guild Softshell Case. These are very high quality cases that are impossible to get if it was missing. Only the handle was missing and I replaced it with a high quality leather one. You will love this guitar. Someone is looking for it. Grab it before someone else does. Used Guitars for Sale - 1967 Gretsch Viking Guitar - Rare Guitars - 515. 864. 6136

07:01
What a beauty. 1967 Gretsch Viking with virtually no binding rot and has the original Gold Hardware to include the elusive Tuning Bar Bridge System. The only thing we have done to this guitar besides set it up with awesome playing low action, is to add some new muting material on the original mute system. Other wise completely original, including the Gretsch Deluxe Gray Hardshell Case. Most players abandoned the Tuning Bar Bride system because it was not user friendly. They threw the tuning fork away and then moved the bridge over the tuning fork hole to intonate. Chet Adkins used several of these unique system guitars and loved them. The Tuning Fork floated in the hole and adds extra harmonics. This is a very cool instrument, was shocked at the appearance when I first saw it....Just Beautiful. Be the first to grab this Magnificent Guitar.

Gibson Guitars for Sale - 1957 Gibson J50 Flattop Dreadnought Guitar - 515-861-6136

07:49
Today, Lawman Guitars has for you here... A 1957 Gibson Natural J50 Guitar with, what I'm calling, a "Vintage Correct" Softshell Case. I got this guitar with a newer Hardshell Case but have been waiting for the right guitar for a case I have been hoarding and this case belongs with this guitar! Purchasing a J50 1950's Case will set you back at least $300. The neck has NOT been reset because it doesn’t need it. It plays fantastically with great easy playing action. The guitar is a 9 out of a 10 scale in playability and looks. This all beautiful Spruce top guitar has dings and scratches as you can see. It has one bang missing some wood on the treble side of the headstock. This guitar did not spend its days under a bed. It has been played..A Lot!! I cleaned up the frets and the fret board. There are some string and finger divots in the top 5 frets. So much wear that I had Jeff the Tech replace them. He crowned and cleaned the others so that you can't even tell which are original and which are not. He is the best!! The remaining original frets have plenty of life still in them. Great looking guitar that has a lot of finish crazing. It looks Great!! The Pickguard shows no sign of lifting. The bridge also looks rock solid with no indication of lifting either. .The original Single Line Kluson Tuners continue to work flawlessly. The only area that needed body repair was around the sound hole. Strong strumming left heavy pick wear and we repaired and cleated one small break at the top of the sound hole. It will not move now! To find a 1957 Gibson Flattop that has no bellying or body and side cracks is quite a thrill for me. We all know that's what Gibson players and collectors look for. This one qualifies! I have a reasonable Buy it Now for this Classic J50. Grab it before its gone! You will love the sound of this Gibson. Very bright with booming bass that Vintage Gibson Guitars are known for. You will love this guitar. This guitar is being sold as-is no returns as its vintage and used. Rest assured though, I have been handpicking my customers guitars for over 15 years now and they have all loved theirs. This one will not be an exception. Any questions will be quickly answered and I am happy to discuss the guitar over the phone for an in-hand demo if you would like. Go to http://bit.ly/12UWqgv to purchase this guitar or see more pics! Used Guitars for Sale - 1953 Supro Ozark Jet Mother of Toilet Seat (515) 864-6136

05:19
http://lawmanguitars.com/products/1953-supro-ozark-jet-mother-of-toilet-seat-guitar/ - Used Guitars for Sale | 515-864-6136 At Lawman Guitars we buy and sell the best used guitars for sale. Call us at 515-864-6136. These guitars are very rare. The Cutaway version of the Ozark was made in 1953 and 1954. I am calling this one a 1953 but the date plate usually on the back of the headstock is missing...its either a 53' or 1954. It has the ultra cool gold Mother of Toilet seat covering which usually bubbles up on these old guitars but this one has been well cared for. The covering is in great shape with little evidence of deterioration or bubbling. All original but the repro Supro Logo, a new bone nut and a replaced pot and cap. The replacement pot that was made in 1965 and the old cap is in the case. This guitar used the Astatic Input jack given the age. I left it on as they work great. You can get a converter but I am also including a new cord with the astatic mating plug. The guitar also features the original Lifton Hardshell Case. Its in great shape. These brown Lifton cases are quite rare and to have the original with this guitar is unheard of. The guitar also still sports the original Valco Pickup, raised Pickguard, knobs, Bridge, and tailpiece. The No-Line Kluson Deluxe Tuners are in great shape. They still have the original buttons which are starting to show some chrystallization but still work fine. They will need replacing at some point. The guitar is professionally set up and checked out to play with easy playing low action. The neck is a full 24 ¾ scale and the nut is the standard 1 5/8 inch. A small body but standard neck. Very light and the pickup sounds huge. You will love this very rare Supro Guitar. Used Guitars Sale - Silvertone Bigsby Gibson Mini Humbuckers (515) 864-6136 - Guitar Sale

06:10
Here's a video you are going to want to watch! A beautiful 1960's Silvertone model 1446 Hollow Body Chris Isaac Model Guitar. This beauty has the Gibson made Mini Humbuckers, original Bigsby and even has the Pickguard. Check out the Original Silvertone Gray Case. Its in even better shape than the guitar. It looks great and all works! This guitar is all original except the input jack plate and the tuners. The guitar had aftermarket tuners and I used a set of the correct Waverly Tuners with the Octagon tuner grommets that would have been on the guitar. Correct dating, just not the originals. It also had it's input jack broken out. A common malady on these guitars from the 1960's. They are very thin on the sides and if someone was standing on your cord and you turned the wrong way, bang...the jack got busted out. This one was fixed as well as they can be and it works great now. This gibson guitar baby is stock vintage!! The guitar is Pro Setup with awesome playing action. What a pleasure to play and hear. All switches and knobs work and are original. Besides some dings and scratches, we filled 4 small holes by the bridge. The original owner had probably screwed his bridge into the top. We filled the holes as they should be. The Mini Humbuckers are made by Gibson. Awesome sounds from these pickups. Bright on the bridge and full of body in the neck. A great guitar! Sold as-is no returns as its vintage and used, however, I have been hand-picking vintage guitars for my customers for over 14 years now. They have all loved theirs. This one will not be an exception. 1965 Fender Guitar Duo-Sonic II Daphne Blue Original Bulwin Hard Shell Case 515-864-6136

http://www.lawmanguitars.com/product/1965-fender-duo-sonic-ii-daphne-blue-pro-set-original-bulwin-hard-shell-case/ Today, Lawman Guitars is Presenting.. A beautiful 1965 USA Fender Duo-Sonic II Guitar in Daphne Blue with the Original Red Bulwin Hard Shell Case.... I am dating this to 1965. It has a May 1965 neck and body…pots are 1965..It then has a L serial number plate of 1965 and the pickups are also dated 1965… See pics… I especially love the rally cool Daphne Blue color. Its been around and has many dings and scratches, but no breaks or anything other than superficial things…You cannot replicate that look. With the White Tortoise look pick guard, this is the color combo you want in one of these. It was Fenders most popular…I love the look! This fantastic Fender Duo-Sonic II guitar has dings and scratches as you would expect from a guitar of this vintage. The wear is all player wear and not abuse. Its worn in all the right places…see pics... The pickups sounds massive and the action is low and set up great. We crowned and polished the frets and they look great now.. It appears to have the original nut. Original Pick guard, tailpiece, knobs, Double line Kluson Tuners and everything. This is a time capsule that some lucky guitar player or collector will love to own. Check out the pics of this beauty. Its awesome! This cool Fender guitar has a full 24 inch scale neck. The nut measures 1 ½ inch. Very manageable neck with a nice round C profile. The action is set whisper low for really fast playing. Our Techs do a great job! As cool as the guitar is, the original case is also fantastic. It’s a Bulwin Case made in CA…The latches, handle and hinges are all correct and still operating. The red felt lining is still there and in good shape. Even the leather neck restraint strap is still with the case..What a time capsule this guitar and case is… Its old and we reinforced it in places. I would get a modern case to travel in. This cool vintage case belongs under your bed to keep it together. 1960 Fender Duo-Sonic Guitar with Original Hardshell Case Today I am parting with a Really Cool Short Scale Pre-CBS Fender Guitar. This is a 1960 Fender Duo-Sonic that has an Ancient Refin to Amber Glow and its Original Case. When I got this guitar, the original body had been really abused. The Pickup cavity was beyond repair and it had been badly refinished. Instead of trying to salvage that body, I picked up this body that Looks Great on This Guitar. It has a lot of finish crazing which speaks to the Professional Refinish from long ago. It was also a 1960 so I married it all up. I Love the way this Fender turned out. This 60's Duo Sonic Guitar has the Original Pickguard, Pickups, Knobs, Single Line Kluson Tuners, Nut, Electronics and of course, the Original Buckskin Fender Hardshell Case. The case is as cool as the guitar. All the Latches, Hinges, and Handle are Original and work, although like all the Vintage Latches, they don't spring open anymore. The setup is awesome. Jeff the Tech did his usual great job to give this Guitar Awesome Easy Playing Action. It is a Short Scale Guitar. It has a 22 ½ inch scale neck with 21 frets. It's a blast to play. If you haven't played a short scale before, You Will Love It. Someone is going to Score This Awesome Guitar This Finder is Hard to Put down, Easy to Play and just a Sweet , Sweet Instrument. Electric Guitar - 1963 Danelectro "Vincent Bell Bellzouki" Lipstick Pickup Brownburst- 515-864-6136

06:50
Lawman Guitars has something for you! A 1960's Danelectro Vincent Bell Bellzouki Guitar. These guitars were made from 1961 to 1969. No telling which year this one is. This is in super shape. If you are looking at this, you probably already know what this is. These are a Vincent Bell designed 12 string guitar. The only difference I can see from the standard 12 string guitars is the octave strings are reversed on the E, A, D, and G strings. Other than that, it’s a 12 string. No extra lessons required to play one of these. If you can play a 6 string, you can play this one also. I was really fortunate to get this one with the original case. Most I see do not have the original case and try to find one. IMPOSSIBLE! The Dano is in superb shape. I had Jeff the Tech set it up with new strings and it plays great with awesome low action. The only malady I found was the rash on the back of the neck from a stand or capo. The Dano Skate Key Tuners work as they should and it has the correct hexagonal Tuner grommets as well. Sold as-is no returns as its vintage and used but note that I have been hand-picking vintage guitars for my customers for over 14 years now. All have loved them and this one will not be an exception. Thanks for checking out my cool guitars and basses. Electric Guitars - 1970 Micro-Frets Spacetone Guitar w/Original Hard Case - 515-864-6136

09:52
BIG BIG ANNOUNCEMENT.... I AM LAUNCHING A BRAND NEW WEBSITE COMING SOON! I'M SO EXCITED! I'LL TELL YOU MORE ABOUT IT IN THE NEXT FEW WEEKS! CHECK OUT WWW.LAWMANGUITARS.COM SOON! Now check out this sweet guitar… A truly RARE and beautiful 1970 Micro-frets Spacetone Guitar that is completely original and includes the original Micro-Frets Branded Hardshell Case that’s in as nice of shape as this awesome guitar. We just got this beauty back from our Techs set up great with new strings and it’s a blast to play. Great action and the Micro-frets Pickups are very versatile. You get Jazz to Rock with these pickups and with the selector switch and tone knobs, you get quite a variety of sounds with these two pickups. The whammy is one of the smoothest I have ever experienced. Very small movements result in shimmering detunings that I have never been able to get with a Bigsby or Fender Whammy. The guitar has very minor dings and the frets are still in great shape. There is some finger divots on the top couple of frets that show this guitar was played and loved. See pic 6. The Micro-Frets company that made these guitars were only around from 1967-1974, so only about 3000 guitars were made in that time. They had many futuristic designs and hardware. The micro-nut that was on every guitars they made was designed to adjust the intonation of each of the strings individually, and does it perfectly. It also allows you to set up the height of the strings and the distance from one another. It is a really amazing piece of equipment. The calibrato vibrato piece is another cool design. You can set it up for each of the strings to detune at whatever rate you want, making it completely possible to detune chords all in tune, or however you want it to. The guitar player I most remember playing a Micro-fret Guitar was Mark Farner in Grand Funk Railroad. Although many others have been seen using these cool guitars. There is a ton of info on the internet about these cool guitars! The pickups on this guitar are amazing as is the much ahead of their time electronics and micro adjusting nut.. The two white single coil, hi-fi, pickups, specially designed for Micro-Frets, provide a clean, crisp, clear, full tone. The bridge pickup offers an edgier, twangier tone than the neck. With the proper usage of the pickup selection switch and tone knob, the player can achieve a wide range of tones suitable for a myriad of musical styles including but not limited to jazz, soul, rock, blues, funk, country, blue grass, punk, post-punk and hardrock. This guitar has both original black knobs with silver metallic tops giving volume and tone control for both pickups. It also has a three-way toggle to choose the neck, bridge or both pickups and another toggle to disable the tone knob. Overall, the pickups work well and sound excellent. All electronics work as they should. It sounds awesome! The Micro-Frets guitar case is just as amazing as the guitar. Great branded logo on the outside and beautiful Royal Blue plush interior. Even the accessory box is still in service. It has an automatic closure on the Accessory box lid that closes it when you are done. What an innovation. Just a simple piece of elastic but it works great. You will love this guitar and case! Vintage Harmony Guitars - Stratotone Guitar 1959 DeArmond Pickups Original Case (515) 864-6136

07:35
Today, Lawman Guitars is Presenting... Check it out ..... What we have here today is a Super RARE Harmony H-49 Stratotone with original case and DeArmond S Style Goldfoil Pickups that sounds great!!! ..It was dated to 1959 which makes it one of the first..They were made from 1958 to 1965.... This guitar is as good a player as it is beautiful...Check out that original Harmony Gray Softshell Case...thats super rare itself and to have all latches, hinges, and handle functional...only the accessory box is missing...Whoa... This guitar was in really dirty shape when I got it but most of the parts were there...We cleaned it up alot and found this fantastic shape guitar under the grime....check out the natural Nitro finish and nicely ambered bindings...very nice .. just some minor dings and scratches..even the input jack area is undamaged..see pics ... these guitars usually have a break in this area..this guitar is in great shape... Been played a lot...See the finger divots in the first fret area. Does not affect playing at all. Still plenty of life left in the original frets. The Pickup covers and surrounds have discolored over the years but still function as they should. We had to reconfigure the original Pickguard in the bridge pickup area. That's what the small filled hole is from. Many pick scratches and war wounds that this guitar wears proudly...Cool looking guitar!! I had Jeff the Tech go over this one completely...The neck action is as good as it gets...it has easy playing action...It is a pleasure to play...The neck is super fast and comfortable....The DeArmond pickups sounds great ...the plastic inserts have cracked or bubbled a little..see pics ..only cosmetics..they sound awesome.... This guitar features the blender knob...when set on the middle pickup selector setting, the first knob blends the sound from both pickups..it is very uniqe and I have had studio musicians buy these guitars just for that feature..it works as it should....Couple that with the cool Vintage Original case and you have quite the guitar outfit here..... Check my other auctions for other cool guitars... Sold as-is no returns as it used and vintage, but I have been hand-picking my customers guitars for over 15 years now and my customers love my guitars. This one will not be an exception.. Les Paul Guitars - Gibson Les Paul Original Hardshell Case 2003 Honeyburst - 515-864-6136

05:31
Today, Lawman Guitars is Presenting... A really cool Honeyburst 2003 USA Gibson SG Standard with Deluxe Hardshell Gibson Case. This guitar was purchased from a Pro Player here in Des Moines that took really good care of it. Only minor dings and scratches. Some button scratches on the back. The Pickups sound awesome and the action is nice and low...plenty of room to set it up with your preferences.. One of the things I thought was really cool about this guitar is no pickguard. Not unusual but this one has no holes for one either. It was never installed on the guitar. Pretty cool.... Sold as-is no returns as its used and 12 years old.. But...all my customers love my guitars. This one will not be an exception. I have been hand picking out my customers guitars for over 14 years and have been playing for over 50 years now...Wow, how time flies!! Thanks for checking out my cool guitars... The Bass Guitar - 1968 Vox Bass Guitar Sidewinder w/Case Onboard effects Sunburst - 515-864-6136

09:10
Vintage RARE 1968 Vox Sidewinder Bass Guitar with original Vox Hardshell Case. This is a great playing Bass Guitar. I have played many Vox Guitars and most do not have great action. This one does. Its professionally set up with new strings and it has low easy playing action. This 1968 Vox Bass is 100% original. It is only missing the back pad and 3 of the snaps. It has the bridge cover. SEE THE VIDEO! All the onboard effects work perfectly and it also includes the original Vox Hardshell Case, which is in great shape. I also found a cool Vox newer White Coil Cord and a Vox Postcard of the Voxmobile that I am including in this offer. See Video! We worked on the effects of this cool bass. All they needed was a new battery cord that had corroded. The Treble Boost, G Tuner and Distortion work as they did back in 1968...very cool features.. Even the knobs are original...the tuners, pickguard and Vox tailpiece are here and in great shape. The frets are excellent. I don't think this bass was played much. The finish is great but has finish cracks from the heavy Nitro finish that most of these Italian Guitars suffer from. Think heavy finish crazing. No body cracks whatsoever!! This bass is in awesome shape. This guitar has both Vox original pickups which actually sound great. I have heard some anemic Vox pickups on guitars. These sound wonderful. Surface finish crazing, nicks and scratches that are typical of a guitar of this vintage. Nothing that detracts from the great looks or functionality of this guitar. It looks great and will be an awesome addition to anyones Vox collection. Sold as-is no returns but check my Feedbacks on Reverb. (Use the link below.) This one will not be a exception. My buyers love the guitars I hand pick out for them. Thanks for checking out the bass guitar. Vintage Guitars Sale - 1982 Epiphone Sheraton 515-864-6136 - Vintage Guitars for Sale

05:08
Lawman Guitars is Proud to present... An epic 1982 Epiphone Sheraton Semi Hollow Body Guitar with upgraded Wilkinson Imperial Tuners and a brand new Epiphone Hardshell Case! There was some questions as to the country of origin for this Epiphone Sheraton guitar. After researching it, and some help from other knowledgeable Epi Sheraton owners, I think we have all the correct information to declare this a 1982 Epiphone made in Japan Model. As all of your Epi lovers know, the 1979 to 1982 Epiphone Sheratons were the best! Here are my researched facts: 1. The headstock Logo is different than the Logo's on the Korean Models. 2. The tan label inside the sound hole clearly is different than the standard orange labels used on the Korean Models. 3. The Serial Numbers on the Korean Models had a letter in them. This guitar's serial number does not contain a letter. 4. The Korean models did not have the ABR style bridge as this one does. It does say Made in Japan on the underside. That was my first clue. 5. The Korea Model backs do not have Sunburst as this one has. (See Video) Please check your information and let me know if you have any questions about this. This guitar was Pro Player owned and really babied. Not gigged much at all. The Frets are in excellent shape as is the Gold Hardware. Only filled tuner holes from the Imperial Tuners slightly mark the back of the headstock. This Dark Walnut Sunburst is NOT available anymore! I watched this guitar for some time before being able to grab it. I know some lucky customer is going to be thrilled with this guitar. I cleaned it up and set it up with new 11 gauge strings. I think you will like the heavier gauge. Try them out before you switch back to 10's. It ships in the shown Brand New Epiphone Hardshell Case. I couldn't let this guitar go from my shop with anything else. The case is Factory Fresh. I personally took it out of the box and plastic. I left the plastic on the handle just to show how new it is. Open it up and its like smelling a new car! LOL! Some lucky buyer is going to be really happy they got this guitar. They don't come up often and sell quickly when they do. It is sold as-is no returns as it vintage and used..However, I have been hand-picking my customers guitars for over 14 years now and have had nothing but happy customers. This one will not be an exception. Used Guitars Sale - Gibson RD 1977 Custom Artist Moog Designed Gibson Deluxe Gigbag - 515-864-6136

10:02
Today, Lawman Guitars is Presenting... A very rare first year, 1977 Gibson RD Custom Guitar with the Moog Active Circuit, and it comes with a Brand New Gibson Deluxe Gig bag Case. What a cool guitar! It's the second I have found and these are fantastic Gibson guitars. I sold the last one last year and shipped it to Israel. My customer was thrilled with it... I always hold my breath when buying one of these because the Active Moog Circuit are usually not working. Everything works great with this one and the guitar action is setup with low easy playing action! Only superficial dings and such on this guitar. You can tell it was played a lot..check out the wear on the maple fret board...see pic 5 (on Reverb)...This guitar looks so cool!! The Moog Circuit adds a boost circuit and what I think is a compressed circuit. The guitar has so many different voices. All original... It looks great and sounds even better. The pickups are fat and full. When you activate the Moog compression, this guitar is like on steroids.. Awesome powerful sound!! See pics (on Reverb). The frets are in great shape. I think the previous owner kept them well crowned. Just a ding here and there on the lovely blonde original finish. It has mellowed to that great butterscotch Gibson look that we all love. Vintage Guitars - 1965 Hagstrom Guitar Made in Sweden Impala Original Deluxe Case - 515-864-6136

10:27
http://www.lawmanguitars.com One of the Cadillac of vintage guitars! A 1965 Made in Sweden, Hagstrom Impala WITH the original form fitting Deluxe Soft shell Case.. This beautiful guitar was completely gone over by out Techs and is operating as it should. We set it up with awesome low playing action for playing comfort. The necks were known in the day as the fastest guitar necks due to the low frets and slim necks. Always fun to play these cool guitars. We cannot date this guitar. No serial numbers. They were all made from 1963 thru 1967…I am calling this one a 1965 just because. I was hoping we could date it from the control pots but no dates there either. It is one of those years. They didn’t build many of these. Very RARE!! This guitar is all original to include the tuners, pickups, bridge, Hagstrom bridge and whammy bar, switches, logos and decals. Don’t forget the awesome Hagstrom Deluxe Sof tshell Case. Its is still in great shape as well. Check those pics.. The only malady I can find on this guitar is some dings on the top…see pic 5…other wise just superficial dings and scratches as expected on a 1960’s vintage guitar. The Bass Guitar - RARE Vintage 1961 Silvertone Model 1444 U1 Bass Guitar New Gigbag - 515-864-6136

06:01
An awesome 1961 Silvertone Model 1444 U1 Bass Guitar.. Its in great shape for its age. The frets are still in wonderful shape. It has dings and scratches but nothing but cosmetic issues. Check out the finish crazing. You don't see that on many of these Danelectro Made Silvertones! Its all original with the exception of a tuner button being replaced by a vintage replacement. It has the correct Single Line Kluson tuners on it. Only the one tuner button was replaced some time ago. It also has the hard to find and original Hexagon Tuner Grommets on it. All I had to do to this one is clean it up a little. The setup is great and we put new strings on it. Great low action on this one. The neck has some relief in it but no fret outs and it plays and sounds great! The Danelectro Lipstick Pickup sounds awesome in this bass. Very strong and commanding! Check out the video! I am shipping it in the brand new bass gigbag shown. It will make a nice home for your cool bass. Sold as-is no returns as its vintage and used but note that I have been hand-picking vintage guitars for my customers for over 15 years now. All have loved them and this one will not be an exception. Thanks for checking out my cool guitars and bass guitars! 10:42
http://www.lawmanguitars.com What a find! A 1966 Made in Sweden, Hagstrom I F11 Model Guitar in RED, WITH the original Softshell Case.. This beautiful guitar was completely gone over by out Techs and is operating as it should. We set it up with awesome low playing action for playing comfort. The necks were known in the day as the fastest guitar necks due to the low frets and slim necks. Always fun to play these cool guitars. This guitar is all original to include the tuners, pickups, bridge, Hagstrom bridge switches, whammy bar, whammy bridge, logos and decals. Don’t forget the original soft shell Case. Its is still in very good shape as well. Check those pics.. This guitar is as clean as they come...No vinyl coming loose on this one. That is a common malady on these guitars. This one is nice and tight ..Very little play on this cool guitar. Check those frets! Setup great with a set of new 10’s..It sounds awesome! Here is some info I found on the web regarding these cool guitars… A Pioneering guitar in style and function. HAGSTROM COMPANY. Hagström [ˈhɑːɡstrœm] is a musical instrument manufacturer in Älvdalen, Dalecarlia, Sweden. Their original products were accordions that they initially imported from Germany and then Italy before opening their own facility in 1932. During the late 1950s, the company started making electric guitars and late ramplifiers. The early guitars were heavily influenced by the accordion production and had a special look and feel. Hagström were the first company to mass-produce 8 string bass guitars as well as the first to build a guitar/synthesizer hybrid (Swede Patch 2000). The company ceased production in 1983. Guitar players and collectors consider HAGSTROM Guitars as being one of the iconic brands of all time and their guitars being some of the best made during the company’s existence. Hagstrom claimed that its guitars as having the “fastest playing necks in the industry”. This guitar is in great shape.. just superficial dings and scratches as expected on a 1960’s vintage guitar. The case is as nice as the guitar..check those pics! The original case is very nice. Only the end latch is broken but the other two function as they should. Nice case that still has the accessory box included! Check the pics! Thanks for checking out our cool guitars. Vintage Guitars - 1957 Supro Guitar Dual Tone Valco Single Coil Pickups Original Case - 515-864-6136

08:48
Today, Lawman Guitars is Presenting... An really cool RARE Vintage 1957 Supro Dual Tone…It has 2 of the awesome Valco Made Single Pickups that sound amazing…It also comes with an original Supro Softshell Case. What a cool guitar. I grab these whenever I can. I don't see that many of them. It came needing a lot of love and parts but it had good bones… The guitar is mostly original... I has the original Neck, Body, Dual Tone Logo'd Pickguard, Knobs, Tailpiece, strap buttons, Frets, Supro raised metal Headstock Logo, National Serial Number plate on the back of the headstock, the Neck Pickup and the cool Gold Kluson Single Line Tuners with the butterfly Tuner knobs…... Whats not original is the awesome sounding Bridge pickup with original Pickup surround, bridge..(I used one my reproductions we make here), one volume pot and one tone cap, and one of the neck bolt covers. It is missing the overlaid Pickguard that goes around the pickups and attaches over the larger pickguard. A lot of players took those off. They tend to get it the way. If I can find one, it will show up on this guitar… The Supro Valco Made pickups sounds fantastic. They are dark and smokey. Great power from them. You Blues guys will love this one. Jeff the Tech set it up with awesome playing action that will not result in any sore fingers. It has excellent action. The frets still have plenty of life in them. Some pitting in the top few frets and some finger divots to show how much this guitar was played. You will not need new frets for a really long time with this guitar. As you can see, this guitar was played. It didn’t spend its life in the case. Lots of dings and scratches as you can see, but no funny business. There was the start of a crack on the base side of the neck from the nut for a short distance. I had my tech check it out and he said its not going anywhere. He couldn’t get it to move. We put a new bone nut of this baby. The original was missing… When I got it back today, I couldn’t stop playing it. The pickups are so full of life. I was hearing all kinds of tunes from playing it. It only has two stops on the Original Pickup Selector. It brings up each pickup by itself. However, you can get both in just the right spot. Just like we used to do with our 3 way selectors switches on the Strats before they made them 5 way switches. Very cool old school selector switch… It ships in the shown original Supro Case. Its in also great shape for its age. It wasn’t the original to this guitar. I didn’t get a case with it. However, I have been hoarding this Supro Case for the right guitar…This one was worth the wait…Even the accessory box lid is there...all latches, hinges and handle are present and working properly. see pics... Some lucky buyer is going to be really happy they got this guitar. They don't come up often and sell quickly when they do. Electric Guitar - 1977 Electra Guitar X-310 MPC Modules Les Paul Lawsuit w/Case - 515-864-6136

08:46
What do I have for you today? A really cool all original 1977 Electra Lawsuit MPC X310 guitar. These guitars were way ahead of their time and of course directed their sales efforts to Gibson Players that couldn’t afford a Les Paul as their market. They did too good a job, thus the Lawsuits from Gibson. This all original Electra plays as good as it looks. Very little player wear on this one. I am calling it Excellent in shape. We had it Professionally setup with new 10’s and it has great awesome low playing action that very easy on the fingers. The gold hardware is still nice and bright. The guitar even has the original Electra Branded Tuners and Truss rod cover. The Head stock is the "Modified Open Book" style. After the Electra original Open Book and before the later Cresting Wave Head stock. Very few of these are ever offered for sale. This one is awesome and in fabulous shape. Check out the Abalone Fret Markers. See pic 6…This guitar is beautiful! This Electra has all of those innovations as well as the Super Magnaflux Humbuckers. Check those pics. With the Varitone switch and MPC Modules for both Phaser and Power Overdrive, its quite the guitar. The Modules themselves have been selling for over $150 each lately. The effects are somewhat primitive relative to todays pedals, but really cool sounds and way ahead of the times with having them on board a guitar at the flick of a switch. This cool guitar even has the original Electra Hard shell Case. It is in as nice of shape as the guitar. Beautiful Grey Plush interior and the Electra Sticker comes with….LOL… I also have the Truss rod adjustment tool and case in the case. A great home for your cool Made in Japan Les Paul. Vintage Guitars for sale - Mosrite Celebrity III Guitar Original Case 1966 Sunburst - 515-864-6136

10:08
Today, Lawman Guitars is Presenting.. A really wonderful and cool and beautiful 1966 Mosrite Celebrity III Semi Hollow Body guitar with the Original Hard shell Case. These guitars were made right here in the USA from 1966 thru 1968. There is some rumors that there were a few 1965’s. The earliest ones had small clay dots..like this one... The Mosrite sites list the K Series Serial numbers from K-0027 to K-2145. This one is pre K-0027 so its possible that it could be a Rare 1965. Its at least a 1966 by my estimation. The original finish is bright, bright, bright…hardly any fading at all. Completely original and no funny business. No cracks or breaks ever. Correct Mosrite knobs and Mosrite Correct Smooth Single Coil Pickups. Very few dings or scratches. No back rash at all... This guitar was really babied. The guitar sounds awesome with the Single Coil Pickups. Very strong and in your face with these! A very unique sound unlike any ES Style Thin line guitars like Gibson or Epiphone. I really like how these pickups sound! The neck is dead straight and the action is lightening quick and low. This guitar practically plays itself. I have the action set low. The original frets still have lots of life left in them. See pic on reverb. The Hard shell case is in very good shape. The Tolex is good, the Blue Plush interior is good and all of the latches are working properly. As you can see, the original handle is still on it. Accessory Box and lid is also still present. This guitar sounds marvelous. The guitar plays itself with fantastic low action. You will love playing it. What a player. Excellent action and the neck is dead straight. Plays like a dream. Very very cool sounds coaxed from the beautiful guitar. Here is some info I found on the web regarding these cool Mosrite Guitars... The Celebrity-III, Mark-I was designated as model 220 and is the “economical” version of the thinline Celebrity. The tell tale sign of a Celebrity-III is the smooth pickup covers, enclosed tuners with white plastic buttons instead of the metal buttons, no binding on the neck, and single layer body purfling/binding. This model came standard with the adjustable solid bridge and trapeze tailpiece. The tremolo was an additional option and would come with the adjustable roller bridge. This model also has the bound F holes. The body depth is 1 7/8”, the scale length is 24 1/2”, and there are 22 frets.. Celebrities are characteristic by their hollow bodies, bound F holes, zero fret, single coil pickups and speed frets. The necks are thin and fast as with all Mosrite guitars. The earliest Celebrities had tiny clay dots for fret markers. Thanks for checking out our guitars! Used Guitars - 2007 Rickenbacker 620 Jetglo Pro Setup

08:58
http://www.lawmanguitars.com/product/2007-rickenbacker-620-jetglo-pro-setup-new-strings-hard-shell-case/ Today, Lawman Guitars is Presenting.. A beautiful and hardly played 2007 Jetglo Rickenbacker 620 with the original Ric Hard Shell Case. There is hardly a ding on this cool guitar. Fresh setup from our Techs with a new set of 10’s for easy playing low action. The Ric Pickups sing like they are supposed to and it’s a blast to play. Heres what the Rickenbacker site has to say about this model… The Model 620 features the famous 'Cresting Wave' Maple cutaway body based on an innovative design from the 1950's. A Rosewood fingerboard is punctuated beautifully with triangular pearloid inlay markers, while the maple double bound neck and body are solid through and through. The 620 is electronically engineered to the exacting standards of the 300 series, complete with Rickenbacker's own high gain pickups and stereo output. Successfully retaining the balance from the original specifications, the 620 is another fine example of Rickenbacker quality workmanship. This cool guitar has a 24 2/4 inch scale neck…the body and neck are made of Maple with a Rosewood Fingerboard. The hi-gain single coil pickups are very strong nad it has both standard and Ric-o-sound input jacks for a stereo setup. The bridge cover is still with it and again, it has hardly been played at all. The original Rickenbacker Hard Shell Case is equally nice. Nice black plush interior with no funny odors. All latches work as does the hinges. Original handle and I have the original case key and Ric Cleaning cloth for you. Awesome guitar that you are going to be really happy if you decide to buy. Want the look of John Lennon and Tom Petty. This beauty does a really good job! Sold as-is no returns and its used…However, I have been hand picking my customers instruments for over 18 years now and they have all loved the guitars I found them. This cool Rickenbacker will certainly not be an exception. Thanks for checking out our cool guitars. Mike at Lawman Guitars

Gibson Guitars - 1960 Gibson Country Western Southern Jumbo Original Gibson Case - 515-864-6136

09:33
A personal super selection today.... A beautiful and well playing 1960 Gibson Country Western Guitar with the original Gibson Soft shell Case. This guitar has been played a lot but it is in fantastic shape and sounds even better than it looks! The guitar is dated from the Factory Order number starting with a R... That makes it a 1960...see pic 6. This beauty is all original. It has the Kluson Single Line Tuners, Truss rod cover, original 1 11/16 inch nut, frets, bridge, end pin and pick guard which is NOT showing any signs of edges coming unglued. The frets are in great shape. Only a few dings on the b string area…some shallow finger divots in the cowboy chord area and of course, plenty of strumming wear around the pick guard. Yes, this guitar was played..not looked at.. The finish crazing on the Spruce top is amazing. Lots of it and it looks very very cool. No back buckle rash but of course dings and slight scratches in many area. Nothing of any damage to report ..only superficial wear items. The neck angle is still awesome. No need for a neck reset on this one. The playing action is excellent and it has been played plenty around here. It was my daily player for years now. This is one of the last with the slope shoulders. The round shoulders are not as prized and I think sound vastly different from these. These guitar have a great voice to sing with. It compliments rather than dominating vocalists.. It has that sound that has graced many recordings we all loved from the 1960’s! Here is some info on these cool guitars.. The Country Western was the natural finished version of the SJ or Southern Jumbo, though there are some earlier examples that are referred to as the Southern Jumbo as well. The Country Western was made a distinct model starting in 1956, though after 1960 it began being termed the SJ-N as well. Like other Gibson acoustic models, the Country Western switched rom a sloped shoulder to a square shoulder body shape in late 1962. Years of Production: 1956 - 1969 Body Style: Round-shoulder Dreadnought Wood Composition: Mahogany back and sides, Spruce top, Rosewood fingerboard Design Elements: 24 3/4-inch scale length, split parallelogram inlays, long pick guard Notable Players: Hank Williams Jr. The original Alligator Print brown Gibson Case is as nice as the guitar. I didn’t use it to transport the guitar to gigs. It was too nice. I kept it in a safe place to preserve this historic case. The original hinges, latches and original handle are still here and working properly. No tears or breaks anywhere. The accessory box still has the Gibson metal logo plate on it and the brown interior is very nice. No musty odors or funny business with this case. A beautiful historic guitar that is a blast to play. NO sore fingers with this one. The action is excellent. I hate to let this one go but its time to get this to someone who will play it more. It still has tons of songs left in it. I has never let me down. Used Guitars Sale - 1964 Gretsch Double Anniversary Hilotron Pickups Two Tone Green - 515-864-6136

08:20
Looky looky! Lawman Guitars has for you.... This is a 1964 Gretsch Double Anniversary Two Tone Smoke Green Guitar with the original Hilotron Pickups! It comes in the shown Original Gretsch Hardshell Case and all the Case Candy Goodies. This is a one owner guitar that has been well cared for since bought new! A few dings and scratches but really nothing to note EXCEPT the crack in the screw hole on the original Pickguard. This guitar was not gigged. No real back rash and best of all, THE BINDINGS ARE IN ALMOST PERFECT SHAPE!!!! As you Gretsch owners know, the bindings are always deteriorating on these old timers. I was thrilled to see this one did not have that malady. Everything works as it should. All I did was clean it up, added new 10 gauge strings and adjust the floating bridge to the correct intonation. Then I proceeded to enjoy playing this guitar for about an hour!! It sounds and plays great. Low action that has some room left to lower it a little, but it doesn't need it, and plenty of room to raise it for your playing preference. It had higher gauge strings on it. I think the previous owner played Jazz..this guitar ROCKS with 10's...you decide... It still has the original Hilotron Pickup brochure, an instruction manual for the floating bridge and an empty older Gretsch String case that I am sending with the guitar. The Hardshell case is in as great of shape as the guitar. All latches, hinges and original handle are present and working. Only the latch has lost its spring but still works. These guitars are being remade by Gretsch. Made in China and surprisingly expensive. A reproduction depending on appointments will run anywhere from $1800 to $2500. You can have this original Gorgeous 1964 Double Anniversary for about the same money! No contest for me! Grab this one while you can! This guitar is being sold as-is no returns as its vintage and used. Rest assured though, I have been handpicking my customers guitars for over 14 years now and they have all loved theirs. Any questions will be quickly answered and I am happy to discuss the guitar over the phone for an in-hand demo if you would like. Gibson Bass Guitar - Gibson SB300 Bass Guitar Hardshell Case 1971 Walnut - 515-864-3136

08:25
Today, Lawman Guitars is presenting... A really cool and beautiful 1971 Gibson SB300 Bass. It has been played a ton and just oozes vintage vibe. Check out the wear on the back of the neck. Someone was laying it down low for a long time on this Road King! It plays and sounds fantastic. The owner before me upgraded the tailpiece but fortunately, kept the original in the case. See pic 10 on reverb… One string guide will have to be added to the original if you would want to take it back to original. One screw on the truss rod cover missing. I think the original broke off inside the hole. I could not get a screw to tap in. I’ll let the next owner deal with that. Awesome wear and finish crazing on this beauty. Wear in all the right places. You won’t look like a Rookie showing up to the gig with this one! Still has the most elusive Bridge cover which are always missing from these models. My research tells me these were made in 1970 and 1971. I can’t find a pot to date it but the previous owner told me the original owner got it in 1971. I am going with that for a date. However, it could be either year. Thanks for checking out our Store on Reverb.com.
